1  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 1 SP30 and 1 x SP31 USA Hosted at Toomim on: February 28, 2016, 10:26:51 AM
well those are very power hungry
and loud like hell
and power hungry :>
and You didnt tickle us with Your amazing price! Smiley
gl with sale tho

They are noisy that's why they are hosted at a DC Wink
but I didn't mention a price and I am open to offers, and given that the next difficulty is not set to rise then if my math is correct I expect they will earn over 0.6BTC to the end of the current hosting agreement.
2  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 1 SP30 and 1 x SP31 USA Hosted at Toomim on: February 26, 2016, 04:53:25 PM
2 working miners that produce over 8TH between them and a months hosting, yet no one is interested...
3  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTS] 1 SP30 and 1 x SP31 USA Hosted at Toomim on: February 22, 2016, 06:47:27 PM
I have SP30 and 1 x SP31 for sale either as a pair or individually along with 1 months hosting.

Both are hosted at in the USA with Toomim's Bros

Both have been running there for nearly a year and have been stable, the only fault has been one of the PSU's on the SP30, The guys at Toomim have replaced it but advise that the replacement is limited to 1250W not a problem as the 2nd PSU in the SP30 is working fine. If you want the link to see the worker details then please PM me.

Payment is in BTC only, escrow via a reputable person such as Ognasty is fine but it is just as easy to use Toomim as the verification.

Make me an offer!

NMC payouts were all caught up yesterday
....
The bulk of the remaining offline wallet funds are funds held and currently untouchable in the offline wallets from the withholding attack over a year ago which is awaiting legal confirmation before I can distribute it to affected miners from that time period.
...

Hey Wizkid, it's been awhile since I posted Smiley

I had forgotten about that case, how far has it got?

Thanks for the NMC, every little helps, I have converted it all into BTC and sent the bulk to you as tip for all your hard work in running a fair and honest pool along with having the patience to deal with the continual questions.

5  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: KNC has been given enough time, it's time to do something about it. on: June 27, 2014, 07:03:52 AM
I am off on holiday for a couple of weeks Slice, when I am back I will see if I have been refunded if not and you have already started legal proceedings I will join with you all.

I don't think that the Mod's should not have moved this thread down here but in the Hardware of Group Buy sections perhaps they didn't want to mar the shop window showing all and sundry that there are as many problems as vendors.
6  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: KnC! Return our money! on: June 26, 2014, 05:19:47 AM
I am still waiting for my refund  on order #17459 since 16th April

The latest excuse is "“however we are now in the production and shipping stage with the Neptune miners and that is taking priority”

Their finance department is not manufacturing, packing or shipping so it seems like it is time to get a group together to recover the money via a law firm in Sweden. Unlike China, Swedish law is workable and accessible.

Just waiting for the 2cents per KWh hosting details to see if it is worthwhile going that route, I would be also very interested if someone has an alternative to it as well.

I wish that KNC,Megabigpower & ASICminer farms get a "conscience" & shut down so "the people" can get their mining on!!!!!!!!!  Grin

hehe, wrong thread bro, your looking for the pipe dream or the snowballs chance in hell thread!!!!   Wink

So true though, centralization here we come baby, what a load of shit and the polar opposite of the entire philosophy

I don't get the game plan over centralised farms apart from very short term profit, once they have near control why would an individual then bother to buy a BTC or why would a business want to accept BTC as payment, they are other, better commercial methods.

Why do you think 'build to order production line' is the best sales model?
Why does your company not want to make and then sell, is it lack of funding?
Why does your company not want to make and then sell, is it lack of funding?
We're very well funded, by two of Israel top VCs:
http://www.genesispartners.com/content.asp?page=portfolio
http://www.brm.com/Investments.aspx?p=10

We're building as fast as we can, test and ship.
We don't stock and mine on our customers machines.

That answers one question but not the other, you must have seen it as you removed it when you quoted my original post

Why do you think 'build to order production line' is the best sales model?

spoondoolies...  PLEASE try and just get stuff in stock....
We don't stock. We're implementing build to order production line.
We'll deliver the product on time and according to the specification published.

tl;dr  - There are are 3 likely suspects...

KNC, ghash or BTCGuild

I doubt it's Discus Fish since many of the people who would leave Eligius for calmer waters would not pick a Chinese centric pool

If it is not the above three, then it is something personal and/or jealously as the driving factor

I too have wondered who it would be and if it is not a private person or activist group that Whizz or Luke have pissed off then I suspect big business to be at the heart of it.

My suspicion would fall on the companies providing protection from this type of attack as many have the infrastructure to generate such an attack, as it is the only way that they can re-generate in volume the attacks that they protect against. It can soon be turned into the old protection racket:

   Shop window gets busted
Racket says we can protect you from that
   You say no
   Shop window gets busted
   You say yes
Shop window no longer gets busted

Allow as a currency Cryptocurrencies

Responsible department: Her Majesty's Treasury

Hello, The government must allow Cryptocurrencies to make the UK more modern. To do this it will give more business opening and more businesses will start here. This could make the economy more stable and more job open for people. Also will this people can pay Cryptocurrencies as a form money to the Transport for London.

Who is this "Milad Laly"? Is he or she actually in the UK? The grammar is all over the place.
I would love to see high street shops and mail orders accepting Bitcoin, but I don't see buying a travel card with Bitcoin though  Roll Eyes

A couple of decades or so ago I would have said that Milad Laly was someone who used English as a second or third language.

Now I would suggest that they were a fine product of the UK educational system.

.....

It says on the product page for the USB cable

Quote
If you have already ordered a miner, please selct pick up at store and we will ship for free with your miner

So you need to place 2 orders, one for the miners. go to checkout and complete

come back

order the USB cable, select pick up from store pay and complete.

That way you only pay courier shipping once.

Okay but that is not obvious and not directly seen from the accessories list page. Do I do the same if I want just one power supply and does the power supply come with power leads with plugs as I could not see these on the site?
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sign this to allow cryptocurrencies in England on: April 01, 2014, 05:25:33 PM
The UK treats virtual currencies just as it would any other currency.

The latest HMRC guidance states that anyone can buy, sell or mine virtual currencies in the UK.

It also states that taxes are due on selling anything priced in virtual currencies just as they would be if you offered something for sale in the UK in euros or dollars. If you mine in the UK then taxes are required on the profits from mining or if you buy and hold virtual currencies and profit then you are taxed using the existing Capital Gains taxation.
