1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a Digital Gold?? on: August 08, 2018, 03:11:03 PM
After reading a lot of posts made by people on this forum, I realized about 75% of them see Bitcoin as a digital Gold. For me, I don't think Bitcoin is a digital gold. Cryptocurrency or Bitcoin to be precise, was developed to be a safer option for transaction of goods and services and also the best mode of payment. Bitcoin was introduced to disable all the restrictions that banks and the financial system presented. A lot of people have lost huge sums of money because they saw bitcoin as a digital gold. I know others will argue that bitcoin has also made people rich but for me, I don't think it is advisable to consider Bitcoin as a digital gold. Bitcoin is a digital currency.

Yes, I agree with you, because bitcoin is digital money that can be used as a good investment for the future and can be used as a transaction in the sense of being a means of payment in some countries but if gold is only used as an investment.
2  Economy / Economics / Re: What will you do with the current market? on: August 07, 2018, 03:07:20 PM

Looking at the current market, many people are disappointed in the market price, bitcoin prices stomping at the $ 7000 level, altcoin prices are falling deeply. Recent good news, however, shows that the market continues to grow and has great potential in the future. What would you do this time: Buy bitcoin, buy altcoin or do nothing?

If I have a lot of money I would prefer to buy bitcoin because I believe the potential that bitcoin has in the future is very good in my opinion, and that will be a good investment for the future.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Future of Bitcoin is the Community not the Government on: August 06, 2018, 03:45:30 PM

I think it's time we update ourselves and stay stronger, because nothing can happen without the community involvement.

Yes, I agree because community involvement is needed in bitcoin, because more and more people who understand bitcoin will increase and that will certainly affect the price.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin investments? on: August 05, 2018, 03:18:30 PM
When big boys enter the picture, the rule has changed. Bitcoin then becoming a fprm of investments, and no longer the original vision of satoshi, iguess its really inevitable, specially during the 2016-2017 when it peaked at around$20,000. It become a speculative asset, and others tske that as a opportunity, trying to make quick bucks, or even putting thier whole life-savings hoping to become rich.

Yep, even if the possibility of big profits never use all your money, because in the world of investment there is always a risk so don't take risks by using most of your money.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can actually Bitcoin be good for the environment? on: August 02, 2018, 02:20:25 PM
It all depends on who is spreading or introducing bitcoin in the environment. If it disseminates information inaccurately it will have a negative impact on the environment
6  Other / Archival / Re: How can Bitcoin helps the world's economic? ✅ on: July 31, 2018, 02:09:55 PM
Some people are asking, "How can Bitcoin helps the world's economic?"

I think this is the right answer. Bitcoin has become a currency for a nation that is currently supporting all kinds of people. Bitcoin has become as an international currency at this point. Once again, technologies help the world to solve its problems. This can raise Bitcoin reputation among economic discussions. And also will give positive mood to Bitcoin markets.

I think, for the bitcoin world's economi has not been too influential because not many countries that legalize bitcoin. But for the market cryptocurrency maybe bitcoin is quite influential.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SHOULD WE GET ALL HATERS OF BITCOIN OUT OF HERE? on: July 30, 2018, 02:29:41 PM
Maybe they are not haters only they do not really understand or learn bitcoin, if they study bitcoin more deeply and can observe the market from years previous years they certainly do not think so.

9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: GOOD NEWS!!! South Korea on BITCOIN on: July 27, 2018, 02:19:15 PM
The South Korea taking their move on regulating Bitcoin.

The government’s stance and actions thus far indicate an interest in encouraging blockchain technology and the growth of cryptocurrencies, but not at the expense of safety and security. Stated one trade ministry official:

"Any major reversal in policies is unlikely, but the government seems to believe a gradual shift in attitude toward crypto-based assets is needed. What regulators should do is figure out how to regulate them properly and prudently as Korea needs to put more emphasis on blockchain technology after obtaining knowhow and understanding of the possible flipside of cryptocurrency trading."

That would be good news in the world of cryptocurrency in the future, and I hope other countries can follow in korean footsteps to advance their country especially in cryptocurrency.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why you should stay off from market prediction on: July 27, 2018, 02:14:05 PM
As an investor one thing you shouldn't engage yourself with is Predictions, if you want to be successfully in this Crypto ecosystem, you need to stay off any form of market prediction.

Here are few reasons why you shouldn't engaged with it (market/price prediction)

1. Predictions can be wrong

2. Listening to predictions makes you a speculator

3. Listening to predictions makes you an onlooker

4. Price prediction gives you nothing for today, only false hope

5. Listening to price prediction makes you think in one direction

Finally

Don’t let speculation and assumption make you decide what to do.

Yes I agree, we simply observe the state of the market without predicting for the future, because if the wrong prediction it will only harm us.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung start to accept Bitcoin on 3 countries on: July 25, 2018, 03:33:30 PM
Samsung is reportedly accepting cryptocurrency payments in several Baltic States using Copay.

The Lithuania-based company made the announcement today. Customers in Tallinn, Riga, Vilnius, and Kaunas in the countries of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania will be able to purchase Samsung smartphones, tablets, laptops, TV sets, and more with cryptocurrency.

The full list of countries from here:

I think that is good news for the future of cryptocurrency, as we know Samsung is one of the big companies that is well-known throughout the world and that will definitely give a good effect on cryptocurrency.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When you think of currency what will come to your mind? on: July 24, 2018, 11:30:23 AM
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) just recently posted a picture that shows the evolution of money that people have used since the beginning of human civilization. Will IMF consider Bitcoin as a new currency?

I think that is an illustration of the development of the pay method used by humans and as we know, in some countries bitcoin has been used as a payment instrument and maybe in the near future most countries will follow it. That's just my personal opinion.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN won't die, period. on: July 20, 2018, 01:57:58 PM
As you can see that BTC is the largest crypto among all in the market, I just really do not understand why people like to claim that BTC is about to die, do not easily fall for these kinds of topics and think that Bitcoin is dying, put some research on it, its just another person's opinion but again it is misleading. One last thing before you reply, this is extremely important and might be a big help for you (especially for newbies) avoid agreeing with such wrong info given to you, be sure to take extra care in replying, and the most important part of all is that you should make some research and do not forget to read the thread (if necessary) it is also important as you can gain new information from other people, though just make sure that what you are reading is very much legitimate.

Thank you and feel free to respond, I wanna see your insights about this.

Yes I agree with you, it's better to find out the truth about the news you hear because it's not necessarily the news they're broadcasting is clear, and if you receive the news immediately without finding out the truth you could have received fake news that wants to destroy the world of cryptocurrency. And better still if you learn more about bitcoin so it is not easy to receive news that is not necessarily the truth.

15  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you now going to hold when the market is red? on: July 20, 2018, 01:35:37 PM
All of a sudden bitcoin jumped from 6.5k to almost 8k today. I believe those who made panic selling are very disappointed now. This is the reason why i said bitcoin investment is not only about risk taking. Am pretty sure no old member sold thiers at that cheap. Sometimes experience counts. Never think bitcoin is gonna die

Yes, indeed to invest in bitcoin should at least learn about bitcoin more deeply about how the cycle of price increases and bitcoin price drops that may occur so that when the bitcoin price drops you do not immediately panic and sell it and what they get is a disappointment after seeing the price recover and even increasing very high.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future of Bitcoin in India on: July 20, 2018, 01:16:49 PM
What do you people think about the future of bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies in India under the current government policies? Shocked

As we know, the development of cryptocurrency every year continues to grow even some governments have started legalizing bitcoin in the country. So, it is likely that India will follow the development of cryptocurrency in the future, if most countries in the world have started receiving cryptocurrency. Because otherwise India will be left behind some steps from other countries.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest into Bitcoin or bank on: July 20, 2018, 01:05:44 PM
If I think personally I prefer to bitcoin, because I think bitcoin is more profitable than if you invest in a bank. But the risks that exist in bitcoin are also high, like the price is up and down and you should be patient if the price of bitcoin has a degradation. But it's all back to you, whether you want to get a high profit but with a high risk or otherwise.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do we really get the whole idea about digital currency (bitcoin) ??? on: July 19, 2018, 02:25:52 PM
After reading a lot of posts here on this forum, I realized that all what people talk about is;
Bitcoin is dying
When is it right to buy bitcoin
Bitcoin is an asset
Bitcoin is a bubble
Bitcoin is volatile and so many on.

I believe bitcoin or cryptocurrency is not all about buying and selling, whether it is an asset or it being a bubble or the volatile nature in the term of price value. Bitcoin is the revolution to the financial system of the world. It goes beyond buying and selling or investing it. Digital currency (bitcoin) is the improved version of the physical fiat system. We discussing on how bitcoin is revolving the world and future changes it will bring in the 5-10 years will help with the false misconceptions people have about cryptocurrency (bitcoin).

Probably because most people who are in this forum are people who are looking for short-term profits. But not everyone is like that, there are also people who study more deeply about cryptocurrency before investing and then make cryptocurrency as a long term investment for them.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what is the main reason for india to ban cryptocurrency on: July 19, 2018, 01:29:02 PM
According to an article I've read, Actually RBI (Reserve Bank of India) has never used the word ban related to bitcoin or cryptocurrency. It only prevents the organization set by the central bank to deal with businesses that are related to crypto currency. Practically, this means the bank must stop deposits and withdrawals to and from the Indian rupee on crypto currency exchanges. This news is widespread and is seen as a "bitcoin ban".
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there difference between bank and cryptocurrency exchange on: July 19, 2018, 04:25:11 AM
Bank is a company or office controlled by the government, while cryptocurrency Exchange not. in addition Bank need a personal data to store or withdraw money but if cryptocurrency does not require any personal data (that is why cryptocurrency have advantages protection privacy) and much difference other.
