As a newbie rank you can't add picture. Nice first shot, but a little bit "simple" i think. thanks for the feedback...I was actually shooting for simple...but u may be right about too simple...however, I think its important that everyone just start throwing out ideas about everything and eventually the community will hone the dagger to a fine point....I hardly have the skill to accomplish any of the following (there are plenty here smarter than I am) but I know that they must be done if this thing is to take off... -all who have the skill should be searching the code for flaws/weaknesses -whitepaper -qt wallet (I realize there is a gui, but the qt wallet is the easiest, most recognizeable form for mass adoption) with solo mining -blockchain explorer -migrate everything to the new daggercoin.org and, yes, I understand that I sound like dick asking everyone else to do this stuff...but being afraid to sound like a dick is what keeps things from getting done in the world

How about CHT ? Except that it doesn't have the wall street X Maybe we will rename this damn coin to Dagger and the short name should be XDG? Where is Dizzlie? Dagger is a good name! I agree....not sure who, but someone earlier said that they grabbed daggercoin.org.... ticker is still a problem though...xdg is doge on some markets....and dag coin is already out there...dag...so is dgr....how bout dagr.... I also propose dropping the "coin" from the name...just plain dagger or dagger pay to set it apart from the 18.5million "coins" out there apparently google is a function that is peculiar to my machine

Bittrex announce it will be distributed to the users on january first, but didnt happen?they are just delaying it to become more less valuable.
just for the record....this is a quote from official bittrex statement (I added the boldface)... Dec. 20, 2017 Bittrex will make all reasonable attempts to credit our users IGNIS but until we have a fully supported wallet, we can neither guarantee tokens or consider creating a market. We will continue to monitor the state of the codebase and network

if you use xfer [amount] to adress - how long does it take to arrive. I have tried transferring but the balance remains at one computer and not arriving at the other. The adress is correctly typed it takes a few minutes...ive been xferring between wallets on diff machines, diff pools quite a bit....just to test it out

haha, wanna see how ppl develop real project? check semux 1) you run a team or at least try to find experienced contributors 2) you run lots of tests: alpha, beta, RC network 3) you discover problems/errors/vulnerabilities... and lots of other things wow!!....way to dance on the grave of someone who tried while deepthroating yourself...nice well, the idea is that if you run a project that is going to hold any value (and there is a lot of money in crypto right now), there are a lot of smart exploiters who will brake or cheat your project to get some income or just for fun. you need to keep it in mind when you start working on a crypto project. maybe it sounded a little bit salty, but it's true. tell me where I'm wrong? You need a team or at least some guys who help you. You need to be experienced or have such ppl in the team... If the project is really over I'm really angry at dev, because if he shuts it down, he should respect all the people following it and at least shut down OP post/site/ DL links or post a notice there... I think everyone understood what u meant...including dev who stated repeatedly that he was just in it to see if he could do it...not to make a score...I don't think it was the grave dancing that bugged me as much as the self-aggrandizement that accompanied it...sorry bout that

Question about number 3: what are the two command to run either full node or just mining mode.
Full Node + mining (downloads large amount of blocks): >cheatcoin.exe -m 0 [after sync] cheatcoin> mining 1 Mining Mode only (no block downloads, recommended for the launch time): >cheatcoin.exe -m 1 pool:port for those getting ready to ask

balance not ready to show a balance. Type 'state' command to see the reason. cheatcoin> state Trying to connect to the mainnet pool. cheatcoin>
But log shows still hashing away
same here...mainnet pool connection comes and goes....keep checking state

check port, thats incorrect, you missed the 4 cheatcoin -m 2 -d 52.5.32.68:13654 just leave it running, when mainnet goes live it should connect
hey....whats the "-d"?...had not seen that until now...ive just been running -t or -m -d is daemon mode used in linux. for windows just run cheatcoin.exe -m x poolip:port where x is 0 no mining 1-n mining threads (cpu core + Virtual Core minus 1 maximum) -t is for testnet only. ahhh...thanx for the quick response....one of these days im gonna get around to Linux...probably the day after my win 7 machine dies
