101  Other / Meta / Re: Merit & new rank requirements on: April 02, 2018, 01:51:33 AM
I understand but I dont know what to post to get merit from other  Cry

don't worry about it...you don't have to post anything of quality...I see plenty of accounts that just copy and paste random shit from telegram or reddit and get merit...the great thing about the advent of merit is that all you have to do is create or buy multiple accounts and just share merit back and forth...that is now the preferred way to advance in rank so that you can charge more for bounty, restrict the number of new higher level accounts, and thereby maintain a high price for bounty for those who are already on top....genius

new miner looking good on my old junk cpu's (that's how I roll)...however, I have a pentium system that doesn't seem to want to swallow xmrstak....been running claymore on it to mine xtl...hopefully someone will reconfig that before the fork..............on an unrelated note, I couldn't help but notice the new list of shit that goes with merit now...im kind of new here...but, it seems to me just more of a way for the scammers to monetize...and if it is being done by those who run the site....and it benefits the scammers...well, you figure it out
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POW][XTL] 👾Stellite👾 - decentralized node list via IPFS & ZeroNet on: March 31, 2018, 12:31:12 PM
It's really irritating having these ASIC manufacturers centralizing coins with their ASIC bs. No wonder the nethash increased absurdly high on all cryptonight coins in the last few months. Wouldn`t be surprised if those guys mined with the ASICs a while before releasing them to the public smh. So, i suggest that it seems like the Bikail Giant N too.

its more than irritating...its criminal....the only reason that they made them was to mine with them until someone figured out what was going on...once that happened, they knew algo would be changed and they could just sell them to suckers who wont even receive them until AFTER the algo change...they will be over-priced space heaters...that's it

and to those worrying about 21bill being too many coins, bear in mind that xtl only has 2 decimal places....so in terms of "minimum units" (stelloshis, perhaps), xtl will have 2.1 trillion...while btc has 12mill coins w/ 8 decimal places...which is 1.2x10^13 satoshis

I wouldn't really call it criminal. Theoretically everybody could improve some hardware to serve specific purposes (in this case mining). What exactly is criminal? Creating an information advantage for yourself or using knowledge advantage for yourself?

I agree it is not actually criminal because those who develop Asics are also going to lose their investments if the algorithm of a coin gets adjusted. That's what the discussion for Monero is about and it's going to be very expensive for the Asics producers Wink

it was hyperbole folks...not exactly criminal...but VERY VERY unethical to sell something to someone knowing that it will be useless by the time they receive it...and no, the asic dev will not lose their investment...they made profit by mining xmr secretly for months...and more money by then selling the used hardware to unsuspecting people

Dev, how long till you switch algos? time to go asic resistant
3-4 days. Certainly before Monero. At the moment we are getting everything ready. The new algorithm is working well on test net.

take your time and get it right guys...don't be in a hurry...as the post just above you pointed out, xtl is not big enough yet to worry about someone who just spent thousands on an asic....in the words of douglas adams "don't panic"

to whoever now has control over the cheatoshin0 account....could you please remove the poll about domain name...it adds confusion to something that already has plenty...thanks

can you tell me how i can delete the poll, i do not see an option to do that, i can see edit option but not delete option

it seems the only way to change or delete a poll is to contact the moderator (mprep) from the cheatoshin0 account....I guess this is to avoid using polls for manipulation

107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XDAG] Dagger - New Community-based Cryptocurrency - First Mineable DAG ! on: March 29, 2018, 12:05:03 AM
there it is....my first signature campaign....lookin good...proud to say I did it because I believe in it...not for the money (I will, however, take the money when xdag hits $100)

edit:  I had to modify it...it wouldn't fit in the allowed number of spaces, I guess...still looks awesome

Hi Dev/Team

what's with the moaning about price and infighting??
If you're bought debitum tokens then you should believe in the project. Let's have positive constructive criticism/comments. The whole idea is to support the project, not degrade it will insulting comments. Come on let's get over ourselves and help the team with ideas/suggestions.

I have some constructive criticism...how about some marketing??...30 tweets in February...4 tweets in march since end of ico (and two of the tweets are basically repeats of the other two)...I realize that we have to wait until q3 for the project to really get moving, but what is wrong with having the same kind of energy and hype we had when the team was collecting eth??...whats wrong with keeping some interest in the brand alive?...give away some tokens or a damn hat or a tshirt...something...anything......also, it may be a good idea to keep the sock puppets from posting so many glowing reviews of how much progress we have made and how they made a profit....its a red flag to anyone with the sense to look up the ico price

114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BCC] Bitconnect Coin - Decentralized Cryptocurrency on: March 03, 2018, 12:21:23 AM
when I get really bored/curious I come back here and examine this situation....ive realized something...biggest scam ever, right?....however, if you had invested 100K in bcc when it first ico'd, you could have gone into a coma until a full month AFTER it was proven to be a scam and collapsed....wake up, and still cash out a millionaire....and I will bet that a year from now, you would still be looking at 2-3X investment...what does that tell us?....I think it means that the number of idiots with money in this world is so high, that you can make a profit from a friggin global nuclear holocaust if you just buy in before the idiots
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BCC] Bitconnect Coin - Decentralized Cryptocurrency on: March 02, 2018, 11:49:35 PM
Each "lending platform" scam has its own thread. Please post your Ponzi promotions the correct place and don't cross-contaminate.

This thread is for promoting the BitConnect Ponzi.

Another lending platform coin mooning today.....very strange..

That scam is offtopic here.

Lendconnect seems to be mooning for no known reason.....

That scam is offtopic here.
Is that guy AGM playing with a full deck?

Or does he just like seeing other people lose money and get some sort of sick satisfaction out of it?

The number one rule in Crypto used to be to always keep your private keys safe, I think that has been surpassed by, NEVER INVEST ANY MONEY INTO A LENDING PLATFORM THEY ARE ALL FUCKING SCAMS!

you really cant blame the Ponzi shills and scammers for jumping on this thread....they come here for the same reason that you would try to pick up chicks at the abortion clinic....if someone is here, the scammers know that they put out
