not ready to call it a shitcoin...but i must say that the whole "whitelist" thing certainly does not conjure visions of decentralization...seems like its turned into dueling pools trying to get the most that they can get out of the miners (one of which we've already seen at his worst), coupled with "the powers that be" taking their monthly skim instead of offering something up to anyone that can actually get things done

so i thought i'd give xlag another shot...
here's how it went...
installed wallet..
mined ~100
coins landed in wallet
went to bed
woke up in the morning
wallet had regenerated a new address and all coins lost.
not the first time.
dnet shitcoin
its been months since ive been here to check, but it seems like things are going the same as they were when i left...i cant be sure, but i can only surmise from the lack of working rpc that the powers that be have yet to initiate a bounty system to get things done...just the usual monthly paycheck |

I stayed away for a while after the response I got for bitching about it...now im drunk enough to come back and look...and im glad to see some who agree.......as I said before, I cant call it a "scam", but there is something wrong with it...the problem may come and go...but, in my eyes something is wrong...and that's enough for me....im back at cryptoknight.cc and im mining much more...I believe strongly in xtl, and in the devs' devotion and ability....I think this thing can go a long way if they stick with it....but I just cant put my efforts into an inferior pool...sorry |

In 8 hours on cryptoknight.cc I mined about 4x what I mined all day yesterday on communitypool. It's not that 84xtl is that big of a deal, but it's the principle. I already wasted time and money on your pool, the added loss of 84xtl is just salt in the wound. I am always very cautious about yelling "scam", and this is no different. I like to give the benefit of the doubt at all times. That being said, your pool just plain sucks. That is as kind as I can be. There have been several other posts regarding this issue. Either fix what is obviously broken or remove the word "community" from your name or remove that pool from the xtl OP. I have been here since the beginning and I believe in xtl. However, this will leave a very bad taste in the mouth of new people and ultimately get xtl labeled a "scam coin".

thanks for looking into it...I already bought in for about 0.3eth back in feb when I was in ico mode for some reason...no big deal, I wont starve...just want to make sure that others don't get sucked in for big money....as I said in the title, im not calling DEB a scam...I cant say that for sure, it could be that its just a shitty project and someone has invested heavily and is bumping it to help their investment...either way, there are plenty of others to invest in that don't look so worrisome...what really concerns me about what ive seen is all of the hero and legendary member accounts that are being used

A lot of people should not take be investing because they can’t handle losing. If you can’t stomach the swings then maybe sell some or all of your position. It’s only been trading for a few months since the ICO so don’t you think you should give them some time to rollout their product?

Democracy can mean many things to many people. Heck, even some dictatorial regimes prefer to call their system to be democratic while at the same time they are using the state power to suppress people and to spread lies just to create fear.
In my idea, democracy means that the government is coming from the people, for the people and by the people. The power emanates from the voters and that power should be used for the greater good of the people.
However, there are some people who prefer someone to lord over them as long as that ruler can provide them all the basic stuffs they need. They don't care if they don't have the freedom others are enjoying as long they have something to eat everyday.
As for me, I still love democracy and I hate it if someone would be curtailing my Bitcoin freedom lol.
Democracy is freedom. Being able to speak up and fight for your rght is best because of democracy. Democracy is expressing oneself andtaking action on what life is. democracy is freedom until the majority becomes convinced of a definition of freedom that differs from yours...look at modern America...they have reduced the quality of education such that young people will now actually protest freedom of speech |

industry has been around for about 200 yrs...the constant change in the climate has been around since the beginning of the earth...for some reason, people these days seem to believe that the relative mixture of gasses in the atmosphere just prior to the industrial revolution is the way it should always remain...even thought it was only so for the blink of a geological eye...science is still young...and as such, it can be a bit haughty and pseudo-omnipotent at times

I look around and see people no longer have goals.
We are perfect consumers. And I can't help thinking that over time, we have been "gently" pushed in this direction.
No more goals, no ideas, ideology, morals or principles. Just having the latest iWhatever, fast car and sleep with plenty of women. Like a new special breed of zombies.
In the past people fought and gave their life for freedom. And now I think we are less free then before. It's just that we are persuaded otherwise. Like in ancient Rome - bread and circus.
