It's already 2016$ and I don't think this is going to happen unless we are at least couple of months behind the halving block reward or after it .
Yeah we are almost halve way in to 2016 and there is no sign yet of the price being $1000 any time soon. I guess that this will be happening in 2017 or 2018 but not now. We are not even at $500 so for it to be $1000 is pretty unlikely. if you focus on late 2017 or early-mid 2018 for the price to reach $1000 again, then the chances for this to happen become much higher. 2016 is way too early and whe don't even know whether or not the price will touch $600 this year. yes i think too fast for 2016 could reach $1000, although this year there will be halving. 2017-2018 possibility we could see back to $1000. Yes that price is achievable by the end of the year as price is moving up now and it will continue to go up until the halving occurs so we can see that price by the end of the year. $1000 is a realistic price but this year's achieving completely depends on the price after halving. So we can just hope for the best. The upcoming block halving is way too hyped up. $1000 will not happen this year. It means that the price has to go up $550 from the price today. Don't hope for things that will not happen. Being realistic will save a lot people from getting disappointed. yes I also have doubts, we will not touch $1000 this year. I hope a lot of people who panic buying when approaching halving, so that after halving the price may at least be able to touch 550 Yeah lets see what halving offers us, as it is really difficult to judge that what will be the value of bitcoin at halving and what price its gonna achieve by the end of the year. |

i think its better to go half and half gold and bitcoin
it would be nice if you have a large capital. but if you only have a small capital. I think you have to choose one of two investment, gold or bitcoin ? Me? I do have a day job and I consider bitcoin as my side job. I don't want to lose that another source of income just because bitcoin is awesome.
Same like your answer to your self question. But i surely will quit from my jobs if and only if there's great project that can make me to get income (at least same like the last last i do). No matter how long time till i can make it to be true but surely will always around to get that opportunity. better try to get great results. compared to fixed income, but the results are very small. examples like, in real job you get $200/month. but in bitcoin you can get greater results like, $200/weeks or $1000/ two month. That is quit a decent amount of money you can earn in bitcoins, but the question is how can you earn up to $1000 for two month, if you care to share then we would be happy here, and I hope that is not a risky job cause if it is I would still stick with my day job for security reasons. If you want to earn more then try to spend more time online on bitcoin and keep your job intact, this will give you income from both the ends which will add value to your wealth. That is also correct if we have time for doing work at both, our day job and online earning with bitcoin, then we have to do these both works that will make us rich and so we will have more money for our needs. Yeah doing both together is the smart thing to do, as only bitcoin will be risky in future as no one is aware how long it will survive and it doesn't offers financial security as regular job does. |

buying bitcoin at bad rumor + red chart. selling on good news + green chart  don't trust any good info for holding your bitcoin, better to sell it if you get small profit then repeat it. That can be done if you closely monitor the price movement. What if you don't have time to always check the price? Some would just hold for a long time and do the wait and see approach. The bitcoin is gonna rise for sure because of the halving that is coming and I think the bitcoin is gonna rise in 2020 also, this is because the fact is that there will maybe come another halving in 2020.
If you take governments, it will not happen. Governments are least interested in things like bitcoins well as far as i know they dont like bitcoins because there is a threat that it will replace paper money and all the fiat in the future what would mean that governments wouldnt regulate anything i think that bitcoin will be in huge heights in year 2020 because the price and community has a lot of potential to grow at the moment in my opinion Bitcoin will be more popular and powerful by then as we will see many companies will start using it and we will also find new investors who will invest their money in bitcoin. |

No, I don't think that even after 20 years any crypto currency will be able to replace paper money, because paper money is more easy for people to use for their local purchase in their offline markets and the other thing is that with paper money they do not have to pay any transaction fee for their purchases etc. Its really difficult for people to adopt something new, it takes time and they also hesitate in trying something new, they prefer to use what they are comfortable with. |

It is very early to predict about 2017 about bitcoin you are right, but we can't say that 2017 will not be a good year for bitcoin. It is much better if we are going to be positive about that.
