401  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: August 20, 2016, 04:01:38 PM
if you talking of income outside the domain of bitcoins obvious you need to get a job but if it's on the forum I see loaning out BTC as a way to make you some money

Lending is bit risky as you don't know how genuine is a person you are dealing with, so its better to concentrate on signature campaign and by offering services from where you can expect guaranteed income.
402  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing Bitcoins? on: August 20, 2016, 03:58:29 PM
Gold has the same attributes and you can't invest gold. Bitcoin has the same attributes. People need to stop looking for places to invest it. Most are scams. Just like gold hold and hope for price appreciation.
People get exited when they see their investment at green, soo they sell the coins, its very hard to resist, you invest 5000 dollars and the current size of your coins is worthing 7500 dollars i would sell them, even knowing it can and will hit bigger values.
But i agree its better save then support ponzis but not all websites are ponzis.
Gold is never a scam as it has been proven that the price will continue to increase, on the other hand if you invest your money in a certain website, make sure you did the right research before putting your money as there are a lot of scammers online and if you are not convinced then you still have an option which is to hold your bitcoins.

Investing in gold is always safer in compare to investing bitcoin online, as in gold you are holding it physically and its store in your own custody where you can access it anytime you want.
Gold has been the store of value, and the preferred method of asset protection for more than 5,000 years. but I strongly believe that every investor ought to own at least some bitcoins. You see, most of the people buying bitcoin are interested in the explosive growth potential. bitcoin offers, as more and more retailers, CEOs, and governments embrace it.

No doubt bitcoin is an new and innovative form of investment and people are willing to invest in bitcoin  as they are very well aware that they can make huge profits from it.
i hope that you are right, if people wouldnt be putting money into bitcoins at the moment then the price would fall in a longer run, i hope this wont happen
of course it is not going to happen, at least not in this century, in my opinion from now on the price can only grow significantly after the last drop

There is no guarantee that price will go higher now onwards, anything is possible with bitcoins, either it will increase or decrease in coming months as no one can control its price.
403  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where to Invest BTC? on: August 20, 2016, 03:55:41 PM
So where should we invest bitcoin to actually earn some profit and increase the amount of bitcoin we own, is there any legit place?
I mean cloud mining is a scam but there must be something else we can actually do right?
hold btc instead of going any site ( mining or investment sites )
all sites are ponzi whether they are mining or investment .

Agreed, we cannot afford to trust any online investment site at a moment as many big sites have turned out to be scam in recent past, so its better to save them in cold storage for future.
100% correct. no legit investment in todays days. I agree with you that better to save them.
there is no way to invest your money and get paid while setting only.. better to invest in your own business, build a site or a blog and work there and earn money via google adsense.

Yes invest in real life business to avoid scams as in real life business you will be having total control on your money and there is no risk of getting scammed or cheated.
404  Other / Off-topic / Re: In 20 years, what would you like to do with your bitcoin? on: August 20, 2016, 03:52:49 PM
I will sell it of course and that is because the value will also be much higher so that would be perfect for the most people with already Bitcoin but you need patience for it.
Or Bitcoin will be already the most used payment method in 20 years you never know.

Hopefully in the near future, most online transactions can be done using bitcoin. As of now, bitcoin is the only thing I use for online transactions; I wouldn’t need to convert it to fiat. Bitcoin for online, fiat for offline 

In future we will find many stores where we can spend it directly so even don't need to convert it to fiat which will save our conversion fees and it will be used for both online and offline.
405  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you buying bitcoins? Why? on: August 20, 2016, 03:50:25 PM
Yup, Because it's a good earning opportunity when you buy and sell right and because it has big potential to rise and increase in value even more..

If you want to buy it and then sell it later, you can sell it at the end of this year.. or wait for the next year to come!! The price should soon rise and we will make good profit!

Don't be in hurry to sell it, if you really want to make good profits then you should hold it for the long term and I think the current price will allow you to do so.
406  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you accept bitcoin as your salary? on: August 20, 2016, 03:46:28 PM
There is a big risk in accpeting salary in bitcoins as the price of bitcoin is never stable and we even cannot use it directly to buy anything, every time we need to convert it to fiat first and then spend, in that case I will avoid such thing.

That is right. I think I will just accept 10% of my salary in the bitcoin just as an investment. I will not accept it 100%.

No company will pay you i n that manner, either it will pay you fully in bitcoin or in fiat and they will pay you in bitcoin only if company has implemented the bitcoin in their system.
407  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2016, The Year of Bitcoin? on: August 20, 2016, 03:42:25 PM
the current price of bitcoin is in the range of 570 USD. I think this year has not been a substantive improvement.
perhaps in 2017 in the future will increase the price of bitcoin increased.

No. Remember the yearly high as of today which is almost close to $800. That is a great improvement and people really take advantage of that price.

Also it's really annoying to sit back at below $500 as we already sit that for years. So somehow sitting above $500 today is great improvement compare to the past months.

Exactly this is the good price to hold and its far better in compare to the last year, and year is not ended yet so we can expect much higher price in next few months.

realistically, i think there is not much that we can expect from the price this year. if we somehow see the price settle above the $600 level, then we can look back at a very decent year. at least, that's how i will look back at this year.
Yeah at least in this year bitcoin has go to the peak than since last 2 year we stay on the bottom price for a long time and before half the price rising a little than touch the peak  at $700.
We may see $700 price in next few months and to be honest majority of the users will be satisfied with that price and will prefer to sell their coins if they see that price.
408  Other / Off-topic / Re: What to do with my signature campaign earnings ? on: August 20, 2016, 03:39:01 PM
Invest them!
Invest them where? do you have/know any legit place to invest bitcoin?  unfortunately there is not any. the web, the bitcoin specially is full of scammers. everywhere you invest your money you'll face lose for sure.
only saying is easy my friend.

You can invest it in trading sites where you will be able to have close watch on your coins and if you cannot afford to take risks then the best option is to save them for future.
409  Economy / Economics / Re: When do you buy Bitcoin ? on: August 19, 2016, 05:18:21 PM
i will buy bitcoin only when it almost halving time because i know bitcoin will get pump everyday & soon i will get profit for sell it back on the market
a lot of time left till that so i guess you will might be able to buy it only for really big prices in the future

Yup if he has plan to buy only at halving then he have to wait for next 4 years and imagine what will be the price at that time, so I don't think its a smart move to make.
410  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever on: August 19, 2016, 05:15:39 PM
I agree that we should hold on to some of our bitcoins as a long term investment, but I don't see a problem with using some for investing and trading. Also, spending it can help promote bitcoin at places of business.
I think it depends on your condition at that time and depending on the price at that time. if you really need the money and the current price is quite large. why do not you sell it?
well as for me personally bitcoin is the only investment so i would do everything that i wouldnt have to spend it all any time in the near future

If you will never spend in future then what is the purpose of investing your money in it, as one day you will die and your coins will remain idle in your wallet with no use.
411  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good long term investment to buy 1 BTC today? on: August 19, 2016, 05:08:08 PM
I wouldnt consider 1 BTC as an investment  as current bitcoin price is not favourable for holdlers

Really? Explain me why... I am a holder myself, and as a holder I don't care about the current price as my focus is pointed at the future price.
how much you are sure about the future price of bitcoin? the above guy is correct. this is not the time of buying bitcoin. I am not saying that bitcoin well get dead or disappear. but as we can see there is no any good movement happened in bitcoin price from last 3 months.. even after halving bitcoin price is getting dropped..
I don't know about others but I my self will just wait and see what will happen next.

That's true its better to keep an close watch on market at a moment, as price is going down and I don't think people are interested in buying at a moment or else price would have been higher.
I think that people are not interested in buying bitcoin is stable prices. you can see bitcoin trading volume on the exchange today. tends to fall when prices begin to stabilize. and the volume will be larger when rapid price movement. I think buying bitcoin at this time is not quite right #imo

What price would you feel comfortable buying at then?  Is your opinion based on short term investment or long term?
when referring to the long-term, the price range of $500 is a good time to buy, because I believe in the future the price will most likely be over $1k. but based on the short term, it is difficult to measure the current price, because the bitcoin price is very stable.

But do you think that price will go to $500 in coming days? As price is stable around $570 at a moment so I don't think that its possible to happen in next few days or weeks.
412  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: August 19, 2016, 05:05:24 PM
I do this.  There are 52 weeks in a year.  The first week I save 1 dollar, second week I save 2, third I save 3, so on so on till you hit week 52, in which you save 52.  It's a gradual increase each week so you don't even notice it.

It's easy to say but it will be hard for others since there is no regular and fixed weekly earnings especially for those who has real life job.

Their salary is on twice a month basis (in most of the cases). But they can increase the savings per salary day so that they can still keep up with their savings.
I think it would be easier if you keep your money start to little by little. if you were earning about $ 1,000 per month.
you only need to save $ 50 each month on your wallet. it was very small I thought it would not be hard for you to save

It depends case by case. Some people don't have such enough money to make a regular savings in regular basis.

For people who has decent source of income that is an easy thing but for those who just earning enough to cover their daily needs, it's will goes in a hard way.
That's true if your income is low then it makes it really difficult to save the money, as first priority is to take care of basic expenses and inflation really doesn't allow us to save money.

But you know if that person really wants to cover all the problem associated that stopping them to save money in regular basis, they must look at any possible way on how they will maximize their earnings. One solution is to find another source of income or maybe find another job.

There are lots of things they can considered in order to have such decent source of income. So much lots that only themselves can find the right and appropriate solution.

Having multiple sources of income will really help in saving money, as it will increase your income and with a proper plan you can save that money on continuous basis.
413  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin Changed my life has it changed yours? on: August 19, 2016, 05:03:29 PM
Yeah, bitcoin has changed my life too, because of bitcoin and bitcointalk i can be update informations, got many friends from another countries. And i can get money because of trading bitcoin and altcoins.
at first time people will think and do bitcoin job as a side job ,
but as time goes by work for bitcoin are more than a side job isn't it?
many people can covered their daily needs by just trading bitcoin or altcoin , selling digital stuff globally etc
and yet people still not understand what exactly bitcoin it is .
Yes you are right and i am on bitcoin and another cryptos coins is just for a side job, because i have real business on my life. I just made a little profit by trading but it is good for me because of a side job.

Yeah bitcoin is really good as an additional income and it is also helping us in many ways and you can also earn good profits in quick time which is not possible with anyone else.
414  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you accept bitcoin as your salary? on: August 19, 2016, 05:01:34 PM
Yes surely i will accept bitcoin as salary and right now i am working on that as my daily life work payment is very low so i am using bitcoin signature campaign as my alternative second work as salary. This way i am managing my family expanses. If their is no signature campaign then i think i have to work double shift to meet my family expenses. Thanks to this forum as they are giving so many opportunity to earn free bitcoin online.

Earnings from signature campaign is limited and you cannot consider it as an salary and only those earnings will not take care of your living, but if you are a full time trader then scenario would be different.
415  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you buying bitcoins? Why? on: August 19, 2016, 04:58:19 PM
Share with us what's your main reason for buying bitcoins?
Bitcoin price is fluctuating a lot these days.My mobile keep beeping with new price notification all the time.I dont think it is the right time to buy coins.I am waiting for some stability in price than I will buy

Bitcoin price fluctuates as always. No such thing as stability if you are waiting for it. It will needs more years before such stability will happen.

Just try to give a shot at possible dipping point where price are struggling to decrease more in that range. You can consider that price as price to start accumulating coins again. Just a trader advice.

Price may go down in coming days so I think its better to wait for few days, as it is expected that price will go below $550 in next couple of days and that would be the good time to buy.
You could be right so let's way for that, but in the event it will not happen you will mess the cheap price now so I think we should still try to consider buying a certain percentage of current price and buy more when it still drop.
Yes and I think without waiting longer we should buy at this stage as current price is also a good price to buy and if price falls in next few days then we can buy some more of them.
416  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2017 Year of the Bitcoin on: August 19, 2016, 04:51:03 PM

hope it will be so, as we were expecting that the price of bitcoin will increase too much in this year and will easily cross 1200 USD level at the end of the this year, but i dont know why the price of bitcoin is stuck and is regularly trading in 570 USD for such a long time.

Don't desire for a easily path to $1200 since every sudden increase is always associated with large dump. Look at what happen when the price is experiencing such above $100 increase.

It's better we have such slow price increase so that stabilization will be form before taking a test to jump on the next bubble.

Exactly, its better to move ahead slowly and steadily to achieve the price of $1k or above, as if there is major pump in small time then it will definitely followed by major dump.

yes and anyway every year has faced at least one pump, even the 2014 bad year was pumped for bitcoin, so i see no reason to no believe in another pump for this year and the next one

Yeah we may experience one more price bubble in coming months, so I am waiting for that and I won't hesitate in selling my coins when I see some best price of bitcoins.
417  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin worst decision you will ever make? on: August 19, 2016, 04:48:37 PM

The worst decision happened last year when bitcoin were 250-300 dollars and i were going to get a loan to buy bitcoin, and i havent done those, i regret those decision till today, if i had made those i would had pay already all the debit and i would stand with several coins to invest and save.

You don't know what will happen so I see no mistake to that. That was year ago and $300 back then is a high price to consider after sitting for $200 above for many months.

Regret is part of bitcoin life but it you will just allow the past to pull your current life you can't move forward.

Very rightly said and if you don't want to repeat that mistake then I think you should buy some coins now or else you will regret again in future when price will be double in compare to current price.
418  Other / Archival / Re: Do you use bitcoin as currency or investment? on: August 19, 2016, 04:45:46 PM
I believe that most people use for both purposes. As a currency, when they use it as an payment method and as an investment, when they buy and hold, expecting the currency to appreciate.
but i think most of the people will be using it for investment purposes.  because to me in most of the areas there are very opportunities to use bitcoin in open market.

Yes, because bitcoin prices tend to fluctuate it is more profitable to use it for investment. But I personally see bitcoin currency is that we can use to buy something, so in addition I invest with bitcoin. I'm also actively using bitcoin I earn to buy something online such as games and items of steam. Thank you

Its good to use it in both the ways, using it as a currency will allow the circulation of bitcoin which will make bitcoin more powerful as a currency and it can also be an good investment if you invest at a right time.

That's why fiat is strong currency because it was used most often. So if people want bitcoin to have the same status of fiat, use it regularly. You don't need to spend it all since even for a small amount, it's a great contribution in the market.

Surely bitcoin will shared the same stats to the fiat in terms of currencies most used online in the near future.

People would love to use it as a currency if they have an option to use it, but the fact is at a moment people cannot use it as the usage is very limited at physical places.

I think people will be happy to use both. as an investment and currency. but bitcoin as a currency is limited to conduct transactions. as well as current investments are not much legit. just hold bitcoin or trade. Other things are very risky because a lot of investment hyip.

but this time I see more people use it as an investment, because of the potential advantages of bitcoin is very large.

Yeah majority of users are using it as an investment as everyone is aware that bitcoin will be much more powerful in future holding some great price which can give them best returns.
419  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin moved above $10,000 USD per coin what would you do? on: August 19, 2016, 04:41:03 PM
If I ever see that high price of bitcoin in future then without thinking twice I will sell all my coins and convert it to fiat, as there is no point in holding it at that stage.
420  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where to Invest BTC? on: August 19, 2016, 04:38:48 PM
ICO's investment of the project altcoin I think is pretty good. lately, I saw some coins success and they benefit greatly. but you still have to be careful when choosing a good coin.

Yes choosing a right coin is very important if you are investing in altcoin as you cannot afford to trust every coin and you can go through huge loss if you invest in wrong one, so be careful before taking any decision.
