Yeah... I also don't understand the mad rise in Ethereum exchange rates. The number of users for that currency is much lower than that with Bitcoin. And in addition to that, every now and then new bugs are being discovered. Apart from the faster confirmations, there is nothing in Ethereum which justifies a market capitalization of $40 billion.
lol.  You don't understand?  I'll make it so easy a moron like you will get it.  Ethereum is a Swiss army knife, Bitcoin is a toothpick.  Ethereum market cap with be twice as high as Bitcoin by Jan 1, 2018.
1022  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin may not be number one for long on: June 12, 2017, 11:28:30 AM
Segwit
SegWit was a scam from the beginning.  It has nothing at all to do with scaling.  SegWit is to enable Lightning.  But people wouldn't swallow that, so they promote it as a 'scaling' solution.  Fortunately the community if far smarter than Blockstream anticipated and they saw through the bullshit and stopped Blockstream's attempt to take over the transaction processing on their private network.  Unfortunately, Greg Maxwell stuck to his guns for two years and now Bitcoin is fucked.
1023  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin may not be number one for long on: June 12, 2017, 11:25:24 AM
Rationalizing that ethereum isn't a cryptocurrency? Funny, spends like btc but faster.

Segwit

Yeah that's a solution that should last a year or two, until 2mb block size isn't enough.
2mb already is not enough.
1024  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin may not be number one for long on: June 12, 2017, 10:59:51 AM
can you tell me what the problem with bitcoin is?
Blockstream / Core = Adam Back and Greg Maxwell.  They ruined bitcoin with their very stupid attempt to monopolize transactions on their private bullshit 'Lightning Network' which has failed.  To make it all work and drive demand for their little 'for profit' service, they had to cripple Bitcoin throughput.

Small blocks was a very stupid idea by these two stupid guys who managed to destroy bitcoin.  But don't worry, a very smart Russian (really Canadian) guy built a much better system.  It is called Ethereum.

RIP Bitcoin.  It was nice knowing you.
1025  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fuck: SegWit, LN, Blockstream, Core, Adam Back, and GMazwell on: April 06, 2017, 02:41:16 PM

Finally, Core is dying. I've been waiting for 5 years.  Cheesy
Me too.  Core and Blockstream need and deserve nothing less than a sure and miserable death.  Yesterday wouldn't be soon enough.
1026  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SegWit2MB does nothing at all to fix the real problem on: April 06, 2017, 02:40:26 PM
franky1, I am sorry to say that Roger Ver, the Bitcoin Unlimited developers and the Chinese miners are playing the same game too. They are all colluding to push their own agenda and take the Core developers out by hard forking Bitcoin away from them. Do I think anything is wrong with that? No, it is what it is. But I do not think the developers behind BU should be supported because they are incompetent.

BU devs are fine.  Besides, many of the core devs will join BU after the fork because they love bitcoin.  We just have to get rid of the ownership of the core devs by Blockstream and Adam Back.  That much is bullshit.
1027  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Bitcoin" Unlimited Officially #REKT on: April 06, 2017, 01:06:26 PM
Is this really the end for bitmain and Bitcoin Unlimited? Are they really cheating and doing something unwanted against the bitcoin system? These are just some of the questions I would like to search for but eventually all I can see in the forum was the collision of groups and that BU and bitmain were the evil empire trying to take and invade bitcoin country.
It is more dirty nonsense by the Blockstream bastards who want to own Bitcoin for themselves.  Sort of a last desparate attempt to regain some lost ground.  Don't worry, it won't work.  Nobody is fooled.  Jihan should hash away as best as he can and so should anyone else.  If he boosts his ASIC, so be it.  Totally fair.  The others can boost theirs too.
1028  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fuck: SegWit, LN, Blockstream, Core, Adam Back, and GMazwell on: April 06, 2017, 11:25:02 AM
All bitcoiners support Segwit
Typical Blockstream flunky moron.
1029  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 21 Inc Bitcoin computer - a jump start tool for developers on: April 06, 2017, 11:24:06 AM
I wonder why there is no much of interest here. 21 Inc Bitcoin computer is an awesome tool for developers. It allows developers to easily build apps, services or devices that uses or accepts bitcoin. I found this article in the internet where in it lists projects made or is being built using 21 Inc Bitcin computer. I find #6 exciting!:)
How was your nap under that rock for the last 2 years?  21 has been dead for a very long time.  It is junk.  The whole company has pivoted to something else now.
1030  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Very serious risk: GMaxwell on: April 06, 2017, 11:22:10 AM
This is amazing how SINGLE guy from Blockstream bitmain can HOLD WHOLE BTC from advancing what a pathetic show.
Jihan Wu should be able to use whatever he wants that makes miners better.   BU can close the BoostASIC trick too.
1031  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fuck: SegWit, LN, Blockstream, Core, Adam Back, and GMazwell on: April 06, 2017, 10:16:49 AM
SegWit you are a sore loser and I laugh into my palm as I write.
Amen brother.  Nodes can just ignore that SegWit crap and push down their bullshit soft fork.

Core got out of control and drunk on their own power kool aid thinking they can take over the network to please $70million investment.  They need to be kicked out permanently.  Take away their commit access.  Surely there are enough people with enough talent not on the Blockstream payroll that we will be able to continue.  So BU is a little balky in the early days.  I am pretty sure that will be fixed real fast.

SegWit is junk and people figured it out.  Time to move on.
1032  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Very serious risk: GMaxwell on: April 06, 2017, 07:46:23 AM
There is a clear and very serious risk the Greg Maxwell will forever be known as the guy who fucked up and ruined bitcoin finally.  It looks like ETH will win this battle and everyone will soon be moving over to a system far better managed.

As wonderful as everyone thinks Satoshi is/was, Greg Maxwell will be / is reviled with equal magnitude.

I think that is kind-of funny.
1033  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / SegWit2MB does nothing at all to fix the real problem on: April 01, 2017, 08:35:58 AM
Now those clever fuckers at Blockstream seem to want to concede somewhat.  However, SegWit with 2MB does NOTHING to get rid of the real problem.  The real problem is a private takeover of the blockchain to support Blockstream's view of the future where they charge you money to use their private 'side chains' to the disadvantage of the network's miners.  This is a wholesale diversion of funds away from network participants into the private pockets of big investors.

SegWit with 2MB will be marketed as an improvement in capacity.  However, it will only serve to let the boys at Core continue to build toward a private 'off chain' system owned and controlled by Blockstream.

Fuck Core/Blockstream and their SegWit2MB

1034  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fuck: SegWit, LN, Blockstream, Core, Adam Back, and GMazwell on: March 26, 2017, 09:33:59 AM
Stop with this drama already, you guys are not being helpful at all, let Segwit/Ln done by expert programmers come first,

They are not expert programmers, they are take-over artists.  Nothing at all will prevent a LN inserted onto 8MB blocks.  If LN is so good, go build it.  Surely when heavy Bitcoin use comes in a few years when LN is ready even 8MB will be too small.

1MB limit only does one thing, drives and artificial need for LN.

Another major problem with LN is one-time low value transactions are not supported.  MOST low value transactions are not repeat-many type.  Rather, buying coffee is can be one time - never see you again transaction.  MOST small transactions will be one-time, never see you again.  LN is only good for low value when there is a repeat many relationship between two parties.  One-time low value is still not served.
1035  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fuck: SegWit, LN, Blockstream, Core, Adam Back, and GMazwell on: March 26, 2017, 09:25:13 AM
The reason why the price is going down is because we don't like the BU threat that will give the power over the blocksize to just 5 mining pool operators (or effectively 1 ASIC manufacturer.) I like bitcoin for it's decentralization properties, not because I trust Jihan Wu so much. I will never accept the idiotic idea called "emergent consensus."

Big blocks are great. I definitely want to see safely planned blocksize increase after Segwit. And if it won't be merged in the beginning in Bitcoin Core, I will just support another client, but emergent consensus is still a joke and Segwit is still the obvious way forward.
Others have said this before, and I think it is worth saying again. The support that BU is getting is not because the ideas behind BU are so great, it is because of the strong opposition to Core and SW.

I don't believe there are any SW features that are *needed* today/now, but are rather features that might be nice to have in the future. Larger blocks on the other hand is something that Bitcoin has needed for years now. I don't see a reason why SW should get implemented prior to larger blocks, especially after what happened with the HK agreement.
Exactly.
1036  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fuck: SegWit, LN, Blockstream, Core, Adam Back, and GMazwell on: March 26, 2017, 09:23:49 AM
Who does then Lauda?  Fucking Blockstream and their paid group of takeover artists?  No fucking way.

Miners still control.  Go run your stupid chain with no miners and have your fucking LN as you wish.  The real Bitcoin is going to continue the way Satoshi wanted it.

Blockstream tried to take over.  People figured it out.  This isn't really that complicated.
This is bullshit. If anyone is trying to take over the chain, and impose centralized cartel control then it is BTU + Jihan Wu.

Lauda is biggest joke on this forum.

Jihan Wu isn't trying to limit capacity and introduce his custom solution that diverts fees into private enterprise.  Jihan Wu doesn't propose breaking the system in order to introduce a radically different alt on top of the old blockchain.

Blockstream are fucking assholes trying to push their garbage SegWit and LN onto our good Bitcoin blockchain.  They are trying to take over.  8MB is tiny.  8MB is safe.  The only reason to prevent blocks going to 8MB is to make a need for LN.

How did you become such a Core butt-licker?
1037  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fuck: SegWit, LN, Blockstream, Core, Adam Back, and GMazwell on: March 26, 2017, 07:25:33 AM
Would you please stop obsessing over me?  It's creepy.

I am not your mommy.

You do not get to determine how I spend my time, you do not get to restrict what I say or believe.  I don't force anyone to do anything. You will you make me cow down and obey you through threatening me by lying to the public to try to raise a mob of idiots against me, and even if you do manage to get me killed you will not stop bitcoin, you will not convert it to the centralized coin you seem to so desperately want.

So give it a break.
Obsessing?  What a fuckin' ego.  Who's obsessing?

You are a fuckwad for taking Blockstream money and intentionally crippling the network with low capacity to drive demand for LN.

Facts are facts.  You guys Core/Blockstream all got found out by the community who decided that maneuver was total bullshit.

Now go fuck yourself.

I know you are not my mommy, but I do believe you are someone's mommy.  You look like a fat pudgy soft old lady.  That beard doesn't do much to bring about a tiny shred of manhood.  You are clearly a blobby giggly buffoon.  Time to let the network take its new direction and realize Blockstream isn't going to own Bitcoin via LN.

Now go fuck right off like a mommy should.

Current miners do not control nor decide what Bitcoin is.

1038  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Fuck: SegWit, LN, Blockstream, Core, Adam Back, and GMazwell on: March 25, 2017, 04:10:24 PM
You guys ruined it all.  Bitcoin is now fucked and getting more fucked everyday.  I think the end in near.
1039  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin was a great experiment. We learnt a lot from it. on: March 08, 2017, 11:06:59 AM
OP can make an altcoin.

also OP if you have any other " We need some real organization at the top." then its still going to be just as bad as blockstream dominance..
any dominance is bad.

also the majority of the community hate blockstream. and if the independent non ass kissing core devs got rid of blockstream out of core. then core (as a separate entity to blockstream) wont get the backlash its getting and earn back some respect

An altcoin as you and others suggest has $0 value on day one.  Bitcoin has $20 Billion value.  If my altcoin can be the bitcoin blockchain, history and value, with new improved rules, then OK - I'll start my altcoin.  But, only Core gets to put their altcoin, with new features (SegWit) and rules (Lightning) onto the established $20 billion history and record.  People who are not Blockstream can just go fuck off and start an altcoin.

See, that is why Core/Blockstream people love to say - "OK - so go start your altcoin".  They know that they are building their new rules on a very well established 8 year history and $20 Billion value.  A fresh new alt - no matter how good, would have a hard time catching up to that.

Don't believe me?  Then why doesn't that asshole Holliday just tell Adam Back to go start SegWit/Lightning on his own blockchain?  Why doesn't Core/Blockstream just go fuck right off and start their new alt Lightning on a fresh position?  Thought so.

Blockstream acts like they own the blockchain and their clever ideas and new rules get to be attached to that history.  Whereas all others can 'go start their own alt'.  This is total bullshit.

'some real organiszation at the top' means protocol and rules not people.  But, it provides for an improved means of settling an impasse.  Like super majority of voters wins, rather than 95% consensus which we all know could never be achieved thus impasses never get settled and we stall out for over two years.
1040  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin was a great experiment. We learnt a lot from it. on: March 08, 2017, 09:11:47 AM
The experiment taught us many valuable things.  Now it is time to back the fuck up and start over with some more workable parameters.

Let's start with a new genesis block.  A more sane approach to mining.  Much faster block time.  Much higher capacity blcoks.  And no god-damned Blockstream dickheads trying to take-over and own the whole thing.  We need some real organization at the top.  Otherwise, Trump is going to create the Department of Homeland Cryptocurrency and electronic money will be forever controlled by the same politicians just like the last currency.

No more fucking around with theory, it is time to put this thing right.

Get rid of that poison team Adam Back and 1 Meg Greg.  Team Core is Team Bullshit.
