i think http://mcoin.io/#/ and https://masterxchange.com/ should be advertised on http://mastercoin-explorer.com/ they are doing a much better job for the MSC community.
Is Moltenmich the owner of the site?
Yeah, but just like in the real world, the guy who buys the ads has the highest markup and the highest prices.
1322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: MasterCoin Buyer/Seller Thread on: December 23, 2013, 09:58:26 PM
How much does it cost to advertise at http://mastercoin-explorer.com/ ?
Anyone knows? buymastercoin maybe you can tell me.
OMG - that infection is back?  What a rip off.  If anyone buys from that guy - sucker!!
1323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: MasterCoin Buyer/Seller Thread on: December 23, 2013, 04:39:18 PM

All I can see is my monitor.  Where shall I look?  Are you hiding in my camera?
1324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: MasterCoin Buyer/Seller Thread on: December 23, 2013, 04:30:58 AM
I would like to buy 200MSC @0.16 ,please update.
Yeah, I'd like to but 200MSC @ 0.11 but reality keeps getting in the way.  I am giving you a freaking Christmas gift by selling 200 @ .25.  Take it and say 'thank you'.  '.16' that was a long time ago.

Have you guys seen the news on the colored coins front? It's looking quite cool: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=106373.0

maybe this has been answered a thousand times already, but.. imagine both Colored Coins and MasterCoin works. What is really the difference between them to the END USER? I know the technical aspects, but users don't care much about those.

One difference is that Mastercoin has a 100 Million dollar market cap.  Its owners will be fiercely protective to do what it takes to keep the project moving forward.

Colored Coin has some asshole named KillerShitStorm who keeps trying to make trouble for mastercoin because his project is an unfunded 'for the good of man' system where the programming team will finally burn out and quit as doing hard work without pay finally turns out to be a dumb ass business model.  But don't worry, KillerShitStorm will be over here telling everyone why they should run from Mastercoin.  Colored Coin was dead on arrival.  The end user will never know about Colored Coins.

Please remove my sell order of 50 MSCs @0.16. Please add a new sell order of 50 MSCs @0.18.
Please remove all my sell orders from the spreadsheet.
I updated the Google order book.
Please also use the self service order book at mcoin.io, you'll be able to change orders yourself.
Thanks Max.  You can please take down my 200@.1899 as those were sold.  Please post a 200@.25 in agreement with the more exciting book: http://mcoin.io/#/

WTB: Any reputable users selling .5BTC worth of MSC?
Yeah, I hear buymastercoin.com has a good reputation.  If you want something ultra secure, you can buy from then.  Also, it is very convenient.  You might have to pay a tad bit more, but with those value added services, I think you'll be very happy with your purchase.  .5 BTC? - that should get you a small fraction of one Mastercoin.

That isn't the real RawDog you 'Itiots'.  LOL

Nice to see 0.33btc/msc price being bought on masterxchange.
What?  is this a real transaction?  Someone paid .33?  Why didn't they buy from all the .2 sellers on the other exchanges?

Even @ .33 it's still a lot cheaper then buymastercoins.
lol true.  But at buymastercoins they offer security and convenience - so you've always got that value added to look forward to.  I wouldn't want to be inconvenienced using other systems.  Sometimes paying more for security just make me feel good.

Most of the points you were disapointed with are issues we can work on so we'll keep you updated if we manage to resolve them in the upcoming days.
What about zero fee until your system is proven, likeable, reliable, and we are so in love with it we can't use alternatives?  Then I'll happily pay a fee.  But I will not even consider one trade on that site - where high fees come prior to proven service.  Forget it.

I think the 'trusted community' will develop escrow agents who don't mind receiving $100 tips from time to time rather than paying your exchange $800 for a single trade.

Besides - What the hell is this column?  "Sum (msc)" I can't figure how that adds up.  Your order book doesn't even make sense to me.  For sure I would not attempt a trade on that site.  Here is a proper order book:  http://mcoin.io/#/   Note the column headers.  Note the data actually adds up to the amounts cited in common rows.
1332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: MasterCoin Buyer/Seller Thread on: December 20, 2013, 12:00:03 AM
couple of things I noticed with masterxchange

-super high fees
-6 hour withdrawal times
-they sell your msc to pay for withdrawal fees instead of just using the btc balance
-they send payments without miners fee
-cant cancel pending withdrawals

I will be doing direct trades instead now. I do not recommend masterxchange until they change their fees.

PM me if your looking to buy MSC

I agree.  They offer nothing.   I am going to start a new thread here.  Mastercoin Buy/Sell - No Fee.  We'll all just go there.  It will be real sad not to have Max - but we will develop another trusted agent.  Nobody is going to rise up to 1.9% fee.  Even if they got very large volume, it would be hard to sustain that high of a fee.  Forget them.  They die on their mistakes.

Buy directly from Patel.  He is known around here and he delivers on his trades.  Meanwhile, lets start to find a new escrow agent to replace Max.  Max is freaking awesome and I'll still use his other automated system for sure - and happily pay the fee when I need that system and can't find any trusted escrow agent.  But for now, I am doing things the old way.  One thing I am not doing, is going to MasterXchange.  That plan is bogus.  (Really?  No miner fee?)  Man those guys are greedy.

Thanks for the endorsement J.R. I had a very long and intensive day, which is on-going, so I will see what should be decided on the p&d stuff tomorrow Smiley
Hey buddy, I'll send hookers, pizza and cocaine if it will help.  Just get your head right and get back in the fight.

and therefore even LESS responsive than usual...
sorry, not possible.  jk

Pretty funny solution: "Don't wait for me, Tachi calls it".  This is good because it favors progress.  If the decision is horrible, it can probably be retracted in the future, but 'waiting around' is the worse possible plan.  So, after a bit of debate - just pick 'A', or 'B' and move on - all the while JR is in the carribbean smoking a fat blunt on his new found wealth.  I wouldn't want to be bother either if I was sitting on 258 billion dollars - "get back to work Tachikoma!!!"

1335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: MasterCoin Buyer/Seller Thread on: December 19, 2013, 04:18:24 PM
No matter how much assurance I got, I just wouldn't type my private key into a web interface.  I guess if I spend the entire balance of an address I don't want to use anymore - that would work OK, but even then there are some clear security issues.  That is a sticky use of a web interface if you ask me.

But otherwise I like it and it looks and feels clean and easy.  I guess since I trust Armory with my private keys I should also trust this too.  Tough call.
1336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: MasterCoin Buyer/Seller Thread on: December 18, 2013, 07:00:01 PM
Wow!  MSC is cheap these days.  I can't believe how low the price has gone - in view of the BTC crash.  Ironically, the BTC crash shouldn't effect MSC in any way.   The MSC protocol remains just as valid as it was last week.  That China doesn't like BTC today should give a 50% discount on MSC.  Time to buy!
1337  Economy / Speculation / Re: An Open Message to all Bitcoin Investors on: December 18, 2013, 04:37:12 PM
BittBurger, DGulari, I completely agree with you except for the $1 part, not going to happen!
Nobody is predicting $1 - we just say that whatever the price, everyone except the speculators just keeps on working the same.

1338  Economy / Speculation / Re: An Open Message to all Bitcoin Investors on: December 18, 2013, 04:12:24 PM
The functionality of bitcoin is not 40% less from its peak.  The functionality is almost the same or better than it ever was.  Only the price is down.  The only people who care about the price are those speculators caught on the wrong side of the swing.  Nearly everyone in the bitcoin community who is working to build something nice - does not depend upon the high prices.  They work to make bitcoin better whether the price is $1 or $1000.

Only the speculators are hurt by this.  Nearly all of us are busy building something good - and don't care about price in the least.  This isn't the first crash - and it isn't going to be the last.

I suggest, to promote goodwill, that buymastercoin.com should offer refunds
Scammers don't give refunds.  Only when legitimate businesses determine their customers are not satisfied with the transaction do refunds come.  buymastercoins.com is a scam operation with unfair prices preying upon those without complete knowledge.  Too bad some trusting people get tricked.  It is a tough world.  But I object to Mastercoin.org participating in the scam.  That part is bullshit.  If buymastercoin.com wants to charge 10X - I am totally for it.  I just don't think the official organization ought to participate because Ron is friends with the guy.  Clear conflict of interest.

He is the same guy as TKeenan and probably Tom Hirsch - just hit Ignore..
Look you dumb-ass, you've had me on 'ignore' for ages.  Why the fuck don't you just ignore me then?  Instead, you keep reading my shit and commenting with your dumb ass eye rolls.  Can't your brain figure out how to actually ignore someone?  Dick.  Big bag of dicks for you to munch on.
