Yes, we will escrow all the three prizes if the forum wants us to. Please choose a trusted user and I will talk with him and escrow the funds.

Make sure to ask for a signed address from the escrow due top the recent hackings. It's possible some accounts may have been compromised.

Good point!

But I don't believe attacker would be able to crack known Escrows passwords.

Good Escrow need to use extremely strong passwords so I believe their accounts are pretty safe if they will change their password to the new one.

But indeed - Signed Message + Signed address is always welcome during escrow operations Smiley

1702  Economy / Services / Re: [BIT-X.com] Earn Bitcoins by Posting | Signature Campaign on: May 25, 2015, 07:13:50 PM
My stats page says my signature has been deleted.

I am guessing these are bugs after the downtime?

Yes something like that - many members noticed that ( my stats also has been reseted without payment ) but Marco already told that we will be paid soon Smiley
So no worries - everything is under control.

Best regards.

Hey guys I have a problem with my wallet...

I have a wallet with a public key: CSZui5aZJZ3u27bLsjAL8Cn1TTzNfBkevQ

I should have 9618.793144 C2.1 over there.

http://c2chain.info/search is showing correct amount of coins.

But my desktop wallet is showing 0.1.

I deleted all data 3 times and use bootstrap to sync my wallets. Wallet is still showing a balance of 0.1 C2.1.

Anyone have some idea what can I do with it?

Thanks in advance

Best regards

1706  Economy / Services / Re: [Bounty] 0.1 BTC to anyone who can fix my webapp on: May 21, 2015, 04:23:59 PM
Adding another BTC.05 to this bounty, making the total BTC.15

Further inspection..

As a test:

Try replacing
<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1">

With
<meta name="viewport" content="width=640, user-scalable=no" />

Just modified the viewport to that, it made the layout work on my phone within Kik, but is still completely borked (but slightly less broken than before) in Bluestacks and on MaliceRed's phone. The arrows are still broken, strange bug: if you type something into the search box at the bottom, the arrows begin functioning (not a problem on desktop Chrome with the Kik Dev tools)

Ok.. a bit of progress I guess Smiley

Now try adding this to the top of your CSS file. Hopefully this will fix the arrows.

HTML {
    -webkit-text-size-adjust: none;
}

Hello, thanks again for trying to help out.
However, nothing has really changed after implementing this.

Hey.

I will have a look later on.  Hopefully I will sort it out

Best regards.

Do any of you guys have friends that are heavy into BTC but have pretty much zero understanding or interest in understanding it.  It is super odd to me.

I have a friend with over 10k worth in BTC.. don't want to go into specifics.. Pretty sure he doesn't even know what a public/private key look like.

All people who I know are provided with all necessary information about what is and how to store and use bitcoins Smiley

I turned few people into bitcoin world and it is necessary to share knowledge with those who you know that might need it so
You should share knowledge with anyone who you know that haven't got important infos.

:-)

Best regards.

Hello,

There is something wrong indeed with 'trust system'.

I don't see any pink but I see huge changes in people's Trust scores.

Interesting...

1710  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for a competent coder on: May 20, 2015, 11:16:07 AM
I am looking for a skilled coder for a browser based game, integrated with Bitcoins.

There will need to be a GUI and allow online playing.

A kind of example that comes to mind is the online flappy birds (http://flapmmo.com/), but it's not that.

PM me please!

Hey Marco,

I am also interested in your offer - but I hope you understand that integrating any MMO game with Bitcoin is really difficult and to make it really secure budget for integration should be bigger than a budget for a game.

Anyway I will contact with you later on to talk about it.

Best regards.

1712  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price prediction on: May 19, 2015, 11:34:10 PM
I [think/predict/know] that bitcoin price will [rise/fall] and will settle in the $[23,000] price range in the next [5 years].  Looking at [insert some random reason] and [insert some random news story] I know I'm right.

Thanks to MF Doom for template, saved me a bit of work  Tongue

IMO: I think that I know and I predict that bitcoin price will rise and fall and one day will be worth  a lot in the next few years Smiley

http://www.cnn.com/2015/05/19/us/tichelman-yacht-killing-sentence/

Its so strange to me how inconsistent our legal system is with penalties.  I know it wasn't an open and shut case, but imo she murdered the guy (allegedly).  6 years seems like a light penalty to me.

Well ... perhaps you are right but law isn't always fair.

Prison sentence will be reduced if lawyer can convince the jury that the murder was a crime of passion.

Well.. there are many different cases and I don't think all murderers should be sentenced for 25 or something like that but it's hard to say how to fix the law and what should be the fair sentence is really hard to say sometimes.

Quote
Ponzi games are known to pay out old investors from the investment of new investors. In this process, the game bankroll keep on increasing and at some point of time owner run away with it. But, in CrazyPonzi.com, every investment/bet has a duration of 120 hour, beyond which it will expire. If 140% of an investment/bet is covered within 120 hour, it will be paid off. But, if it expires, new investors will get paid out of it. Hence, the bankroll never steeply goes up. It goes up & down and thereby self adjusting itself.

I understand that 120h rule but is it not still a pyramid scheme (hyip/ponzi)? Smiley

I think a good name:   BetPyramid

This is how all markets work, what's your point?

That old ladies are in fact (a notable part of) the Chinese traders and investors who are still determining the price of bitcoin...

I am waiting for a good times when Bitcoin will cost less than $50 Cheesy

I hope Chinese ladies can do that for me (please Smiley )..

Have a great day! Cheesy
