261  Other / Meta / Re: Is the forum over regulated? on: July 08, 2018, 04:04:35 PM
First of all, I'm not here for merit.(Even after telling in advance, I was insulted by some hypocrites. See below.Cheesy)
I feel you bro. I guess you're a hypocrite yourself. Your not here for merit but your whining about it even proposing to remove ranks which is way beyond your imagination.
I'm not familiar with how people think about the forum. I'm just giving a thought here. Be patient with me, because I'm not used to posting in a logical order.
Don't worry everyone's opinion is being respected and accepted in a debatable manner.
First, merits, activities, and ranks. Generally speaking the incentive is the higher rank you are, the more money you can earn with less effort.
I agree with you on the incentive part but in the "less effort" that's a little bit shady. Even if your a high rank but with a shitty post, you can never participate in signature campaign run by legitimate managers. Some of those high rank accounts are already tagged worst banned.
Yes, the forum is not intended that way. But, let's face it. That's what's happening.  People complaining and defending about merit. Those whiners complain about merit because of that incentive. Those defending merit don't want these shitposters to rank up and ruin the forum.
People complaining about merits are those people who want to rank their way up instantly without any efforts. If those whiners will just find a decent paying job in real life then they won't complain in here for not getting their desired amount for a certain task. There's no shortcuts in everything bud.
Previously, ranks are determined by activities and then merit was introduced.
That was a thing in the past move on. It was the privilege of those people who knew first about the forum. Please don't take that away from them. They did their part as well by being active everyday in here.
What if we remove all these activities, merits and ranks? I'm sure there are people who can promote well in good ways without having rank. And, projects that are serious won't have problem with that.
You made me laugh at this part. Where's your respect to the oldies in here? Are you just gonna remove them from their respective posts because you want equality in all members. I think that's a communist way of thinking.
All they need is to reach potential users, not high rank hypocrites, except the unethical or scam projects, right? It will remove incentive for ranking up, merit abuse, account trades and best of all, there won't be desperate posters in meta section. (How's that? Cheesy)
I'm one of those hypocrites bud and just wanted you to know that you are a hypocrite as well. No harm intended but that's my opinion about you because of your post.
Why bother mods and members with that problem? Let the campaign managers handle it by self moderating their topic.(In fact, that's what campaign managers are already doing. They saw every post made on their thread. If they saw spam, report or ban that user from the thread.)
Atleast you have a point in here. I totally agree with you on this part of your post.

I'm not trying to provoke or create flame with you OP, but merit system is made to prevent lazy people farming in this forum. I'm a hypocrite as well, since I'm here to earn but I do respect the system as well as the high rank members in here. I highly suggest that you just live and let live.
262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you still afraid of? on: July 08, 2018, 04:41:57 AM
Some people have been afraid of crypto for quite some time now. I feel majority ought to have overcome this fear.
- People still panic and loose their profits.
- Some panic and loose participating in good projects.
- Some panic is loose their holding.
- Some panic and miss the opportunities in crypto.
If fear does not do any good, why do we then still fear?

If you know what you are doing with your money and investments then there's nothing to be afraid of. Those people who are an emotional investor that easily panics are mostly band wagons, not so knowledgeable in crypto and doesn't believe in the technology. If you invest an amount that you can afford to lose then there's nothing to worry as long as you're determined and knowledgeable enough then you are good.

What I'm afraid right now are those people that are trying to take advantage and really do their best to scam, hack or phish other people just for their own benefit. Hope that those guys will be eliminated in this cryptoworld.
263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Fraud. How to stop projects from cheating payments!! on: July 08, 2018, 04:35:21 AM
Recently, some projects refuse to pay bounty participants or change terms after the work is completed. Regardless of their excuse, this is considered fraudulent inducement and can be reported to the FBI or your local police wherever you are in the world.. You can file a report at this FBI website: https://www.ic3.gov/complaint/default.aspx/

Some projects will say they are registered overseas or have lawyers to scare  people from taking action. Even if so, International law make this a crime. The terms of the bounty announcements are considered a legal contract and must be followed under international law; even if NOT signed. So I recommend any bounty participants who have been cheated out of payment to contact your local police department or fill out the FBI Internet Fraud complaint form above. If you don’t take action, cheating bounties will become common.

I hope this will be of help to many...

This is still useless unless you know the real identities of the person behind the project. Most of the scam ICOs are using aliases and fake identities or even fake company that never exists in real world. The filing of cases needs real identities of individuals involve. Without legitimate information about the person or company scamming bounty participants, it's like chasing ghosts and FBI won't waste their precious time in doing those things. Don't worry, sooner or later those cyber criminals will rot in jail or even in hell for taking advantage of people's time, money and effort.
264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another bad news for Bitcoin on: July 07, 2018, 04:32:40 AM
Steve Eisman, à famous investor, particularly influential on Wall Street, was in Hong Kong to participate in a particularly important convention in the finance sector. The man had to express himself about crypto-currencies, explaining that for him it was only a fling::'' I do not see the point.
Each and everyone of us has different opinion about anything. Steve is just being biased since he is in the traditional stock market investment not in crypto. There are lots of people in wall street who doesn't believe in the technology of bitcoin, and they are too scared that even young investors would surpass their wealth in a blink of an eye with crypto investments.
What is the added value of crypto-currencies? No one has been able to give me an answer to that question. »
Bitcoin was made to correct the errors that a centralized currency we have right now. Bitcoin is invulnerable to human error and fraud. The cross border fees are eliminated when it comes to bitcoin accompanied with the anonymity of online transactions which is impossible to do with our current centralized system.

265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: altcoins dip what to do? on: July 07, 2018, 04:17:29 AM
It's just normal to cryto values. You don't have to worry about it but instead take advantage of those dips to gain profit in the future. What goes down must go up. Sooner or later the market will correct itself and recover from bearish to bullish. I know that there are lots of factors affecting the performance of the market but this bloodbath will eventually fade and will be replaced by a bullish performance hopefully by next year and after the next bitcoin halving. We just have to take some measures on maintaining composure and stick with the plan and the main reason why we invested a particular coin or token. If you believe in the technology then you just don't hodl your coins but even add more to your portfolio for more profit in the near future.
266  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] IOS - Signature & Avatar Campaign | Up to $150/week - (Extended) on: July 07, 2018, 02:42:29 AM
@Madz I haven't received my IOST payment yet.

Finally, it has also come to my attention that a few IOST payments have been dropped from the network, as the Ethereum network is particularly congested right now. This is despite using a higher than median fee (80 GWEI), so I am not sure what else I could have done to avoid this. Judging by the remaining balance of the escrow address, this totals under 10% of the total payments. To reiterate, I am aware that this is an issue, and will be re-sending any effected payments later tonight to avoid any potential double spends at the moment. Feel free to PM me if this includes you, or if you think your payment is incorrect, however, I will also be going back through the spreadsheet.

Once again you promised that you will be resending affected payments later tonight and its been 17 hours since the last transaction done from the escrow wallet.I don't know when are you gonna come back online for you have been making it a habit for not being true to your words. I don't have any personal grudge against you. I know I have been impatient with the way you are managing this campaign but I deserve to receive my pay. This is really so frustrating on my part.

267  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] IOS - Signature & Avatar Campaign | Up to $150/week - (Extended) on: July 06, 2018, 11:00:21 AM
I wanted you to know that I haven't received my pay in IOST. I only received the BTC payment. What's wrong Madz?
268  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] IOS - Signature & Avatar Campaign | Up to $150/week - (Extended) on: July 06, 2018, 03:53:27 AM
Any updates about when Madz is going to send our pay? The escrow wallet is already refilled. He said he's gonna send it out after 48 hours.  Grin.. @Madz are you still in China?

I think we should contact IOST team and let the know about this and try to contact Madz somehow..

Hey Madz? What now? Tell us about your plans for our pay. I already did contact one person from IOST but there's no reply. This is so frustrating and impossible. Escrow wallet was already refilled but still there's no signs of Madz going online. He said after 48 hours but its been 5 days since he's offline. @Madz? You're still in China? Are we still gonna wait for another month?

I'll be removing my signature as well. This has been a roller coaster ride working with you Madz and IOST. Thanks for everything. Hope you guys won't let us wait for another month again for us to receive our pay. @Madz you said after 48 hours. What now?
275  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] IOS - Signature & Avatar Campaign | Up to $150/week - (Extended) on: July 03, 2018, 03:11:51 AM
I guess he is waiting for the funds which have not yet reached to escrow address.

We are in the waiting game again. Hope they won't let us wait for another month or two.  Grin

Thanks Madz! I assume that the payrate in IOST that is indicated in the spreadsheet is not yet updated? Is it safe to remove the signature now?
277  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] IOS - Signature & Avatar Campaign | Up to $150/week - (Extended) on: July 01, 2018, 01:21:57 PM
Any updates on when we will be paid? The IOST team didn't add tokens to the escrow wallet yet. I guess this is our last day for this campaign right? @Madz please update us on when will be our pay?
278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: trx or other on: July 01, 2018, 03:47:08 AM
trx is good for invest now or another coin need find for invest?

I have read an article that TRX just partnered with a porn site. I guess this will have a good effect on TRXs value in the near future but it's not an assurance though. You can find lots of promising coins and tokens in the crypto market. I highly suggest that you include IOST, EOS, and XRP in your portfolio for those coins will have an increase in value by the next few weeks or months. No one can really predict the value of any crypto so invest at your own risk and don't invest an amount that you can't afford to lose.

279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Future in Crypto on: June 30, 2018, 09:50:35 AM
Yes it is good if you don't have a job before joining crypto world but I will like to seek ideas from those that have reasonable jobs and I really want to know if you truly believe in Crypto so as to give away your job and fully dedicate full time to crypto or its not worth leaving everything because I see it as a long journey which I need to learn everyday.

I do believe in the technology but I don't believe in making crypto a full time job unless you are a full time crypto trader. I know there are some bounty hunters in here that are doing it for full time but there are some companies that are not paying out bounty hunter in return, so its still risky to give up your regular paying job just to do micro tasks in crypto space without certainty of really acquiring and building wealth.
280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tron (TRX) Accepted And Partnership Signed With Brazzers And Traffic Junky on: June 30, 2018, 09:41:52 AM
Hahahaha Why they do have to do it? There are many other industries to help TRX but porn!!!

It's for the main purpose of getting their name out and adoption of people to the coin. As we all know the value of an altcoin depends on the acceptance and adoption of people to the technology. Even if it's in the porn industry you still can't eliminate the fact that the industry is so huge and there are lots of individuals who are involve. We might find it odd but there are lots of people who are subscribing or even watching porn discretely in their private moment.
