21  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: To save bitcoin - stop buying bitcoin cash on: December 10, 2018, 12:47:10 AM
We can clearly see that this is another way of market manipulation by the people who has lot of control of the hashes. Whales, mining farms, huge investors are into this business for them to profit and earn more money. They don't care whether it's bitcoin or an altcoin as long as pure profit is achieved, that's business.

If bitcoin will truly go down the drain then we can't do anything about it. We just have to go with the flow where the river may take us. We can't stop those big whales and investors, we just have to understand the game and be able to adapt immediately to change for us not to be left behind.  Grin
22  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is your quit point for Bitcoin price? on: December 05, 2018, 06:54:49 AM
The market is full of pessimistic comments lately and most of the conversations include BTC price going under 3k. I really wonder at which point BTC investors give up and quit completely. What is your opinion about this? My thought about quitting never happened but if the price goes under four digits then I might be reconsidering.
The word quit are for losers. I do believe in this technology and I will stick with my plan since from the start. I invest in bitcoin for long term and this current situation and dips won't really bother me since I'm so certain that the market will correct itself anytime soon. With the scarcity of bitcoin few years from now due to difficulty of mining, I'm pretty sure that its value will also increase. I only invest an amount that I can afford to lose so this bloodbath won't really affect me that much.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are there more profitable cryptocurrencies than Bitcoin? on: December 05, 2018, 06:49:23 AM
Don't forget that the price of bitcoin goes a long way to determine the prices of altcoins as well. Thus a steady downtrend in Bitcoin also implies a a terrible price for altcoins as well.
I agree with you on this. Every altcoin depends on the value of bitcoin as well. If bitcoin is experiencing dips might as well affects altcoins' performance in the market. With the current bearish market, there's really no altcoin that can be more profitable than bitcoin. Maybe by next year there will be more promising projects that can give us decent amounts of profit in terms of its growth. We just have to be positive and wait for the bull run next year 2019.
24  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A change for our financial systems on: December 02, 2018, 02:56:22 AM
This is why cryptocurrency is so popular, your money is truly your money.
Or it could be the other way around. Your money could go down the drain overnight due to its volatility.
Crypto is made to correct the errors of a centralized system but people deemed crypto as investment
vehicle due to its volatility.

There are still roles of the banks that crypto can't offer. So they'll both coexist no matter what.
Crypto is intangible and a lot of skeptics won't adopt to this kind of financial structure.

25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Was BTC drop caused by manipulation? on: November 30, 2018, 04:16:33 AM
Manipulation is everywhere. Social media and other mediums that could influence other people's decision is one way of manipulation.
Haters of bitcoin is really happy now seeing this huge dips. They just don't know that these downfall of bitcoin's value is an opportunity
for each and everyone of us to purchase at a discounted price for I'm pretty sure that crypto market will correct itself soon.

26  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Destroyed me at all. on: November 29, 2018, 11:50:26 AM
Few months back i purchased arround 15 to 16 btc when bitcoin price was 10000$ to 11000$ each btc but now arround 4000$ each btc .Just waiting for 11000$ for each btc than i should leave btc and i can see bitcoin have no future in this time.
That moment will surely come. Bitcoin will always remain strong despite the FUD and other factors that could make its value go down. The market will always correct itself. What goes down must go up. If you plan to invest long term then there's a very big possibility that you can recover your loss or even profit more than what you invested in the first place. When it comes to bitcoin investments only the strong hands will profit. Emotional investors won't win in this kind of waiting game. Don't let your emotion cloud your judgement.
27  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Blocked 1200 BTC Binance Account: Lost in Doubts on: November 28, 2018, 04:47:31 PM
You'll surely get your money back once the investigation is done. I just don't know why these guys are locking your account by just having that large number of btc. It's not reasonable. That's your accumulated wealth and they don't have the right to just freeze your account because you have those. Hope that you'll be able to get back your account and all of your btc and have a Merry Christmas!  Grin Just think positive!
28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Jaime Dimon, Warren Buffett have the last laugh? This article will make you mad on: November 25, 2018, 04:14:10 AM
@dothebeats. Is it only to demoralize and to make you stop pursuing getting rich? I reckon the Warren Buffets and the Jaime Dimons of the world do not want the technological development of the whole cryptospace for very clear reasons why. It is threatening the existence of the system that made them wealthy.
I concur with you on this. They know nothing about the technology so they won't get involve in such investment vehicle that has a very volatile nature. Most of these people are looking for tangible things to invest upon and they just don't support something like crypto for these guys were accustomed to the traditional way of investments. Crypto is only for the people who has interest and fully understand its nature.

Are we under attack-51? Does someone mine private chain for reorganizing?  Grin

I guess there's a halt for major mining pools. It's not profitable while bitcoin's value is experiencing bloodbath. We'll just keep calm and relax. This will surely pass and bitcoin will surely recover.

pools selling their old s9's ready to grab new T15's.
enjoy the discounted coins while they last.

When people are panic selling, whales are busy taking advantage of the sale. We should grab this opportunity to accumulate more coins as possible for us to get so much profit by next year.
30  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: the end of the battle hash and BTC falls on: November 25, 2018, 03:09:07 AM
I heard that the BCHABC and BCHSV battles become weak, the capacity was small, and I concluded that the BTC decline was over, but, after I go to the market today, BTC fell deeper.

are there other factors that make BTC fall again?

People lost faith to BTC that's why some long time investors do panic selling and others are settling for a safe haven in tether coins.
The BCH fork drama really created huge damage to the crypto performance. This made the btc value fall in a dramatic way.
We are already nearing the last month of the year and I'm pretty certain that what goes down must go up. Bitcoin will surely recover
and people who lack faith about the technology of bitcoin will be wronged again.

Now is the time to take advantage of this huge sale.
31  Other / Off-topic / Re: Suicidal ideation on: November 23, 2018, 06:51:17 PM
We are humans and for that matter, we are bound to all forms of psychological trauma when something is not going well. I have been wondering what some people who bought bitcoin since last year and early part of this year might be going through. For instance, somebody who bought 1BTC as at last year and he or she is in possession of it up till date, what do you think such a person might want to do to him or herself now that bitcoin has drain so heavily. I think such a person might be psychologically lacerated and thinking committing suicide. What do you also think and what advise will you offer to such a person?

It really depends on the person taking the risk. As long as you can afford to lose what you invested then there's really no drama will be involved. People who truly believes in bitcoin and do long term investment will surely profit. This sudden dip is caused by the BCH fork drama. Eventually the market will correct itself and the value of bitcoin will soon recover.

Only the weak hands will lose in these kinds of situation of the crypto market. Whales are laughing at those emotional investors who panic sells everything they have. This is clearly a sign that there's a huge number of investors who are trying to dump their btc.

32  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin prediction from 'Experts' on: November 23, 2018, 06:41:35 PM
I came upon this article, and the so called experts weigh in on the current price dip and why they believe Bitcoin would reach $3000.

I am usually very skeptical about trading advice from popular cryptocurrency influencers as it could be made with personal motive, but I was drawn to the statement made by Former institutional trader, Tone Vays;

"BTC constantly drops 80 or 90% to make sure people know what they’re doing, that they understand why they’re in BTC. And I think there are so many big buyers of Bitcoin and they weren’t buying it for the right reasons. They were buying it to make a quick buck and to be famous and to make money for their investors"

The current drop is bad for those seeking short term profit, and ICOs sponging on the growth of bitcoin. But I don't think it does much to the actual goal and target of this technology,
Of course we all invest for profit.
But true believers in bitcoin would be mildly shaken by price dumps, especially as it is expected in this space.

What do you think?
What's the support you envision?
Could there be a silver lining in all these?
People who wants to introduce their new technology really wants bitcoin to go down. They really wanted to replace bitcoin as the number one crypto. I know bitcoin has some flaws but as what I've noticed with new ICOs and projects that are evolving into crypto space almost everyday are purely real joke. There are so many shitcoins want to profit from people who has less knowledge about the technology.

There are so many haters of bitcoin. They are really doing their best to let it down and spread FUD online just to make it worthless. Real supporters of bitcoin won't be tilted. This will surely pass and bitcoin's value will bounce back again.
33  Economy / Speculation / Re: Satoshi sold his BTC. on: November 20, 2018, 02:24:08 PM
Hello, Do you believe satoshi sold his BTC today so that is the reason why BTC price falls at the moment?

Or some big holder dumped his BTC.

https://www.blockchain.com/btc/tx/1ee11c8a24c9244f14c4d5a9c3670c13664f4ae8f7738c31b4f21221a5bdfbd1

This will remain a mystery if who is the owner of this wallet. It could be a huge exchange or firm that shifted to BCH just to get the benefits of the fork.
We should be calm and let this bch drama pass. For sure the price of bitcoin will be back up again. Don't be fooled by these kinds of manipulation.
The weaker hands will always lose. So better take advantage of this very low price and purchase more bitcoin for much more profit in the near future.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: kill bitcoin cash, or forget this crypto revolution on: November 20, 2018, 02:12:40 PM
kill bitcoin cash, or forget this crypto revolution

We just have to wait and keep calm. This BCH Fork drama will end soon. The price of bitcoin will go back up again. Bitcoin is the real deal not BCH so just don't panic and continue supporting BTC.

This BCH Fork really affected the crypto market specially the value of BTC and I'm hoping that the recovery will take place asap. We are nearing the end of the year so this might be our
opportunity to take advantage of the discounted price of bitcoin.
35  Economy / Speculation / Re: Fall! What to do? on: November 20, 2018, 01:58:04 PM
Bitcoin is approaching 4000. Do you think the currency will be falling for a long time? What to do with the crypto portfolio? And can you expect a sharp rise like the current fall, after the new year?

You can stay put and wait for the recovery of bitcoin's value or you can go find a coin that has less volatility like USDT to be your safe haven in times of dips.
Some even took advantage of this dips by purchasing more bitcoin. I'm pretty certain that if you go for long term investment when it comes to bitcoin you
will surely profit. Just let it sleep like 2-3 years and wait for some huge profit. The crypto market will surely correct itself anytime soon from this bloodbath.
36  Economy / Speculation / Re: Epic buying opportunity on: November 20, 2018, 02:09:10 AM
Once in a while, a great opportunity comes along to acquire more BTC. They don't last long. We are in that moment now, with prices nearly 75% off the peak.
I agree with you on this. Instead of panic selling we should take advantage on this huge sale. There will be huge bounce back of bitcoin price. Expecting a bull run by December.
The BCH Fork drama will surely end soon and market will be recovering from this bloodbath. We just have to capitalize and diversify our portfolio and just be patient for this is not the end of crypto.
37  Economy / Economics / Re: Is empty wealth being created through stable coins? on: November 18, 2018, 08:16:12 AM
Even with the new system of technology which is a decentralized one, we are still being haunted by the corrupt system of centralization and its slowly taking over and influencing big companies in crypto space.
It's how they'll gonna make people believe that for every stable coin its been backed up by fiat. The real deal is to how to sell to people that idea and how many would bite that scheme.
Lucky are those who have much knowledge about the technology for they won't fall for those schemes legitimate or not.
38  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you know any "whale"? If you do post it here! on: November 18, 2018, 05:39:55 AM
The question comes automatically, do you know any whale? Are they on this forum too? How did they became rich?
I suspect that behind some of those giving signals there are actual whales but is mere speculation

The main reason they get rich is through investments. Most of the whales in crypto market are already big time investors in stock markets or other investment vehicles.
I can't find the logic why we should still post the name of any whales we know. May I know what's your main motive for this post? Any whale in here has the right to privacy
to avoid getting harassed by any beggars in the forum.
39  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does holding really make us avoid losses? on: November 17, 2018, 03:21:55 PM
Whenever coins prices fall, there are always many posts that suggest that we continue to hold and not sell.
But is this really helpful? In fact, losses have already occurred, and we cannot deceive ourselves with the reason of book losses instead of actual losses. This is simply a shit reason.
Indeed, if you hold coins and wait for a bull market, you may recover your losses, but this is uncertain, it is not necessarily happening.
More often, holding will only make things worse.

If you are holding it long term and cashing out when you already reach atleast 30-50% profit then there will be no loss. Bitcoin is one of the most trustworthy crypto investment in the crypto market. There's no doubt that if you are going to invest in bitcoin for long term then there will be no loss. This sounds vague and assuming but if you'll just consider the increased difficulty of mining every bitcoin halving and the law of supply and demand then we can really conclude that we can really avoid any losses. You just have to find the perfect timing to cash out. Don't be greedy and learn as well to set a goal of how many percentage of profits that you are trying to attain. Sometimes greed can make us lose. Just like what happened last year December, a lot of investors are still hoping that bitcoins value will still reach more than $30k but end up losing there supposedly profits.
40  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do we incentivize small and medium companies to accept and use Bitcoin? on: November 16, 2018, 10:39:31 AM
We will surely reach that moment when small businesses is gonna adapt to this technology. With so much FUD circulating the net, it would be a gamble using bitcoin as mode of payment when its value is not in stable condition. The volatility of bitcoin's value is the issue as well as the scalability that's why small businesses who are looking for profit won't risk such mode of payment.
