241  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting: how much knowledge is too much on: October 06, 2020, 11:44:23 AM
Knowledge is everything but with gambling, luck would always had the part for you to succeed.

5% luck, 95%, that's the right combination to succeed, I put a very little percentage on the luck since it's not really something we can consistently have, everyone has luck, and since sports betting is just betting against each other, other people can be lucky also but with knowledge you have the edge to win in the long run.

Ofcourse. I don't know how reliable your 5%/95% is, but I agree that knowledge is important. A bettor who depends on luck could be defeated by very experienced/knowledgeable and skilled bettor. And such experience bettor would likely win consistently and be profitable if he/she bet mostly with bettors who depend on luck in skill-based games/competitions

Knowledge in sports is important as it gives you an idea of what are the chances of a team wining and who is their opponent. This give you a fair judgement if the match could be one sided or will be tough and based on the form which player is likely to perform better etc and accordingly we can place the bets. Though it does not guarantee it will happen the same way but will have a better view rather than having no knowledge at all about it.

I do believe that knowledge is a must and even in sports but for me when it comes in sports betting i dont think it has a knowledge level that was needed to be able to win a bet. I do believe in luck and based on my personal experienced i have met some people who are winning a bet frequently and honestly speaking i am not that type of a person. Maybe i have a poor luck skill-based game or intuition. This is the only thing that always keep on my mind, i can't trust myself in betting in sports especially if i am going tk bet with money involved i cant take the risk.
242  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Greatest Gambling Losers on: October 06, 2020, 10:21:38 AM
I can't imagine if I was them, and probably I will never be them because never betting in high amount.
Here, I also wonder how they are thinking and doing after the loss? I know this is not my right to ask this.
It may be a nightmare or event a big shock for them. But it may mean nothing if they have won several times more than the amount.

Most of them are already having huge funds because of their business, but putting our selves to their shoes, we are also vulnerable to be attracted by gambling and its fortune. It Is just that most of us have a limited access to most of the gambling platforms in physical casinos especially right now, when we need to distance and limited our social interaction.

But wayback before, I think the peer pressure actually is the one pushes these gamblers to their position right now.

I can't even imagine how they can put a huge amount of bet in gambling. I can't even imagine also how did they cope up if ever they get lost all of that money they have. A fortune in gambling was definitely unpredictable and worst case scenerio was there is a high probability of losses than winning. But honestly speaking i bet those who are a risk taker yo put huge amount of bet in gambling can be classified as addicting in an instant money.
243  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs. Conor McGregor on: October 05, 2020, 01:01:48 PM
Everyone has the right to challenge Manny Pacquiao, it's just that McGregor is a very lucky person because Pacquiao can accept the challenge and I believe this will be a very exciting and full of drama, at least the challenger still has the potential to beat the world champion, this is an opportunity. good for proving who is the best boxer in the world.
Do we really need a fight to determine who the best boxer in the world and that too against McGregor, he had a phenomenal rise in the MMA scene and that rise is taken a beating against Khabib after all the trash talk and gassing out against Mayweather but to think that he can challenge any top boxers in the world is just foolish and if the fight is put together it is going to be an easy pay day for Manny Pacquiao.

I bet yes, a match is needed not only for an intentions to determine who is the best boxer among Pacquiao and McGregor but i bet for a satisfaction of a gambler who used to put their money as a bet who among them would be win. For me it sounds uneasy knowing there are people behind the battle of the two boxer looking forward for their investment to become double or tripple whenever their bet wins but it is also a chance for a boxer to earned also a money not for themselves but for their family also. Both will become the benificiary of this game.
244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is Addictive...Pay Attention to your Gambling Habit!!! on: October 05, 2020, 11:46:22 AM
It is not just gambling habit that we should pay attention on there are other things that is also addictive that we should consider being cautious.
All things are addictive it only depends on us if we would be addictive to it and something excessive is bad for us and could affect our health.
But I agree that gambling addiction is one of the most common addiction and one of the greatest reason why many people are being ruined not just their own but also their family.

Everything that you used to do that was above your limitations and sometimes may cause you not good in your health may classify as addiction. To be honest there is a lot of things that addiction can be used to in relate to our daily lives but i bet that when we can control it and not excessive this can be called as moderate addiction. But when it comes in Gambling i can't keep away word addiction to it because sometimes addiction in gambling cannot be control once youre really into it. And this the one thing that you should pay attention.
245  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling License on: October 05, 2020, 10:23:32 AM

Would it make any difference to you if they're registered in Malta or UK where regulations are said to be of the highest standards?

This is a plus factor, but on top of this we want to see a gambling site with good reputation accumulated overtime, reputation is still everything, I have so many projects even outside of the gambling where the project is fully compliant and with a known team behind them but they still run away with investor's money.

Indeed an attractive factor for a gambling business is having its licensed. Gambling business is more attravtive when it was registered to a highest standard licensjng gambling country. This will give a big opportunity for a business to get more costumers and gamblers. And even i am going to join gambling i would also look for a good reputation of a gambling business or its reviews and profile befor i would going to engaged in it.
246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decentralized exchange volumes hit $23.5 billion in September on: October 03, 2020, 07:26:57 AM
I think that data is reliable because DEX has not induced fake trading volume, for me thats not surprising because the HYPE that sweep the entire Defi market has not yet subsided the $23 Billion volume for DEX is another milestone and I hope it will continue further for the benefits of the entire cryptocurrency market.

It is quite really true that decentralized exchange was now get in the scene. And this was a good news to the crypto world and also to the users and traders of cryptocurrency like us. $23.5 billion exchange is quite too huge and this means that decentralized exchange like Defi are been always used. This is a milestone to be considered and a high hit to cryptocurrency in case let's just wish for the good fortune of cryptomarket and entire cryptocurrency.
247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to call the people into crypto on: October 03, 2020, 03:32:48 AM
no need, they'll find out for themselves. In my opinion, the cryptoqurrency industry has begun to be recognized by many people, especially since the Covid19 outbreak, many people are looking for jobs online and browsing about what bitcoin is. this is based on a search on the google site.

I do agree with the thought that they don't need to call to get engaged in crypto but if they are interested about cryptocurrency they will make an effort for themselves to get to know more about crypto. As i know cryptocurrency has already announced in public via social media and i bet that there are already a lot of people who knows about cryptocurrency and i am one of those people who have heard that and i make an effort to get to know more what bitcoin is and if it is legit. I'll be delighted to share my knowledge of what crypto is if anyone would approach me to ask but i wouldn't make a move to call them to be involved in this matter where they don't have any interested at all.
248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you sure crypto is the future currency? on: October 02, 2020, 02:26:22 PM
I think crypto will be one of the existing currency of the future. But I don't think it will be able to totally replace fiat money. Not yet in the near future maybe. Crypto must still show its potential to many and have mainstream adoption before it will be considered the currency of the future. With the development of crypto it is going there.

I am not convinced if crypto will become a future currency but i am praying and hoping that crypto become an existing currency that we can use legally on our digital transactions. If it may happen this may become a great opportunity for each token developer to uplift the value of the token and also it was an opportunities for us as a traders and campaigners because this is what we are looking for, for a crypto to become legally adopted in our economy and in our day to day basis.
249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are the best coin in 2020? on: October 02, 2020, 01:09:07 PM
I have $2000 from a source. What will be the best coin invest in for 2020? We know there are trending DeFi. But there are more coins which are too low price but there have a chance to win in 2020 end.
Do you have any suggestion for coins to invest $2000?

I can't deny that there are some of the coins that arise this year that have good potential wherein the end it can give a good profit.
Because so far Ethereum, Ag8, Link Busd, Bnb, Lend, Waves, Nem, Cred, Jrt, Sc and more depending on your thought and lastly DOT, is also
good for the long term as well.

To be honest there have a lot of cryptocurrency who has a potential to become the best coin in 2020 but its progress are depend upon how the team behind the coin work it out. But for me nothing beats how BITCOIN has progress even today. Bitcpin for is still the dominating cryptocurrency in crypto world. But im hope that each crypto will have a time to progress and could have a huge break by just even having a good value.
250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hello everyone! Do you still have confidence in altcoin? on: October 02, 2020, 12:07:59 PM
I still believe that there are still great altcoin projects out there and new good altcoin projects to come. Only bitcoin alone can not serve every demand that the financial industry and the average user has.
It becomes more and more hard to choose the right altcoin though now that there appear no altcoin projects everyday and of course at least 90% of those won't survive a year.

I can't deny that the value of altcoin was too far from the value that each and everyone would loved to invest. Altcoin i guess was being left by other cryptocurrency compare to bitcoin which was the biggest hit of cryptocurrency. But i'd still believe in the huge possibilities of one altcoin to be able to make up itself from what value it has right now. Also looking forward a great project that altcoin may come on its way
251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Is Really Happening To The Market? on: October 01, 2020, 12:14:37 PM
Crypto is getting harder to predict now, in August we saw a very good pump and many of us must have thought that a bull run was coming soon but when it entered September the market suddenly bled, will we see bitcoin under $5k again until the end of the year?
Was the increase in bitcoin and some altcoins in August just because of the Defi hype? Share your opinion
Although it is difficult to predict in crypto, I do not believe that the price of Bitcoin will fall below $5k. The crypto market is currently undergoing a normal process, it is just a market correction. The growth of the crypto market in August was only due to Defy's hype. I don't think that's right either.

An indeed a sad truth about crypto and that its unpredictable movement of market and whether we like it or not we need to deal with the values of the token we have. But the fact that Bitcoin value dropped its value from $10k down to $5k is definitely unbelievable. And i dont believe it also. Upon checking the blockfolio the value of bitcoin was still unbeatable by having a value of $10k and that's a good news to all those who have a bitcoin today in their wallet.
252  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Investing/trading Opportunities for stable returns? on: October 01, 2020, 11:12:18 AM
I wish there was a way to make a stable income from crypto investment but unfortunately there is no stable way to make money in crypto world, all the ones that claim to be one are lying to you because there is none as proven by the price changes most of the time.

What you could make however is an average of certain amount. Let's say you want to make 50% profit in a year, you get in with 1000 dollars at the start of 2020 and by the start of 2021 you have 1500, that could be done, it is not going to be stable at the road but the path you took will take you to your destination and that is the important part. As long as you are profiting yearly that means you are doing a good job, who cares if it went down along the way, as long as you finished with a profit that calendar year.

There is no such thing as stable return when it comes on investing or trading in cryptocurrency. Cryptocurrency was decentralised controlled by no one but every investors, sometimes dominated by the whales but as an invididual investor of cryptocurrency and expecting an stable income in crypto is such a wish in once in a blue moon. Earning in crypto maybe like higher than you're expecting or exceeding to what you've been traded but sometimes in worst case you may never get any return from your investment. This is a risk trading and you should have to take the risk if you want to earn.
253  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it true that Corona Virus may effect trading? on: October 01, 2020, 10:14:05 AM
It is not really trading, it is economy that was under attack. Think of a world (shouldn't be hard) where people never go to work, they are at home, many business closes, nobody makes money, everyone is out of a job, and you think bitcoin wouldn't be affected? People keep forgetting that bitcoin wasn't created so that you could make more money during crisis, it was created because after the crisis (this one and on all other previous ones) governments managed to give rich people tons of money while poor people got screwed, hence that is why I think bitcoin is valuable.

If you had bitcoin during this period, you made your money back to what it was, if you had dollars you got help from government while rich people got 10x more than you did (probably even more) hence bitcoin makes people equals even if they are poor or rich.
There is already an effect to the economy more specifically in cryptocurrency market, remember when the coronavirus is still in hot issues and the price of the bitcoin dropped to $3000 per each. That time, everybody is fearful because there is panic everywhere. Not only the bitcoin dropped but the majority of altcoins are also experienced it. Even in indices, there major crashed happened because the global economy collapsed.

This pandemic not only brought a virus but brought drought to the economy of almost all nations around the world. This drought that a pandemic brought has also an effect to the crypto market as we can see crypto itself was struggling to boast its value up to high peak like in the year 2017. But this pandemic brought people also to get more engaged in technology and hope that a lot more have discovered the cryptocurrency and attract more investors.
254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Never invest in any cryptocurrencies! on: September 30, 2020, 02:23:37 PM
Friends i introduced crypto to hit up on me everyday, asking me all sort of questions like "why is this thing taking this long to go up?" and to be sincere, am kind of tired of telling them to be patient, that good things take time.

This is the kind of world we find our selves today, everyone and everybody are all in a hurry to make money, to the extent that most of them even end up missing opportunities which they would have made a fortune from if only they were patient enough.

I do also introduced cryptocurrencies to my brother, and friends but then they just hung on there having no idea at all and then keep on asking "how can i do that i dont think i still have time to deal with that thing", "is that thing you called up bitcoin or crypto is legit, i'm afraid fhat i will be a victim of scam" then from this questions of my friends i came up to a conclusion that they are being afraid of take risks and the truth that they don't have any idea aboyt what cryptocurrency is makes them decided to never invest in cryptocurrencies.
255  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: we need more volatility and faster bear bull bigger losses or bigger profits on: September 30, 2020, 01:20:40 PM
Market will not adjust to you, it's you that needs to adjust and see how the market moves and make money. Well this is possible for altcoin market specially shit coins that can be pump by signal group, but for bitcoin? Nah, hard to manipulate, yes there are whales in the bitcoin market but it's hard seeing the colluding with each other. So sorry to inform you that we don't have that kind of solution here.

Surely market will not going to adjust to be able to fit it for you. You must be the one who need to adjust and need to study the market before you complaint. And to be honest theres no such that kind of solution that youre looking for. If that was the market value of the tolen then we must have to deal with it none of us control the market. Maybe those whales can control the market but we as individual here cant do it.
256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin (LTC) Huge Pump is coming with New Update on: September 30, 2020, 11:34:43 AM
It was going 64 to 65 dollars when market was green few weeks ago. Its interesting to see if this update make price up for LTC. These days only defi coin makes fomo and many people got liquidation in the DeFi. Few people makes profit from it too. But when price comes from 10 to 2 then Noone can afford it. LTC is good to hold compare to all scam defi project.
In fact it was a goodnews for a LiteCoin and i can also feel that its valuw wouldn't get up as high as $70. For me any updtes of a cryptocurrencies was a good news and also a good indication that someday cryptocurrency values may get back like itsvalue wayback on the year 2017 where i guess was a lucky year of cryptocurrency. And in fact theres a lot of ways where we can get any updates regarding those token updates.

258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the next trend for 2021? on: September 29, 2020, 11:51:30 AM
It is still difficult to say, but I think that DeFi will still be very popular in 2021 because few cryptocurrency companies have been created in the DeFi sphere and therefore I think that in 2021 there will be a lot of companies that will be created based on DeFi capabilities and technologies, so we need to carefully study the DeFi sphere on an ongoing basis.

I am amused how DeFi has progressed today. I can't tell what will gonna be the next trend in 2021 but hoping for the best in each and evry coin to uplift their value as of now. Maybe DeFi has a good standing today but we also cannot tell that this gonna stay till 2021 or is it other coin that will going to popped up or it is still Bitcoin that will dominate the market and bull up. For me whatever coin it is going to be the next trend i hope that it has a good indication for the digital currency.
