That leaves you 300$ for the GPU.
You could always buy old used PCs, just pay attention that they have PCI-Express slots.

APPLECOIN.org VELOCITYCOIN.com QQCO.IN RADIOACTIVECOIN.com All of these are Scrypt-Jane Coins similar to YAC which utilizes the NFactor difficulty adjustment to reduce GPU efficiency and thus turn it into a CPU mineable coin. Most of these are listed on Coinedup.com and there is an online store http://cryptosmack.com/store/Can you point me to comments on each one indicating that CPU mining is better? I am checking on applecoin forum now. GPU mining is faster, but not as much as with e.g. scrypt. Also I think that with higher nFactors the GPU efficiency lowers further. So obviously not the right choice for a thread titled CPU-only, but maybe another thread with CPU-minable coins would be useful in addition. |

Also had more than 600HUC, downloaded with node added and now 0HUC
Exactly the same here, had 4000HUC, added new node, now I got 0. -__- 2000 transactions are still there but all greyed out. Newsflash: You all were on a fork and mined blocks all for yourself without competition from other miners. Coin definetely needs a relaunch or if one of the longer chains is used then most of those blocks should be given away. Newsflash: When you have 50+ connections a few hours into a release, you're probably not on a fork. When said client "misplaces" several thouasnd coins that were confirmed out of nowhere, it is indeed broken. When you try to be snarky, you look exceptionally stupid I guess you just saw the blocks flying in, just like me. Every block mined by my shitty GPU, yea right. Obviously the client has problems communicating with other nodes. No sync = fork. Never said client isn't broken, but don't act childish: "My coins are gone omg D:". New features, new problems. Have fun with the next scryptclone if you don't like that. |

I hot 100HUC already but all still immature.
Plus the wallet goes out of sync.
no rejects? nope 0 rejects, 200 HUC now, first ones are at ~70confirmations, still all immature whats you secret? He's not connected to the network and mining a fork it seems. Orphans only for me too. |

i think it is a huge risk to pay 20 usd per month and have just 70 khs... my opinion
