21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Cryptospace is getting Worst on: September 30, 2020, 06:37:26 AM
Lol, a coin of which the developer itself is saying "do not buy!" is trading at over 0.5 ETH that too with a volume of over $1.6m If they ended up doing a rug pull on investors then everybody will lose big.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you usually find new coins? on: September 29, 2020, 06:58:22 AM
For the new ICO/IEO coins, and tokens I usually check them at https://t.me/Generation_Crypto

For the coins that are already listed, I check them at coingecko or coinmarketcap but mostly on coingecko because CMC takes a long time to list new coins on their site.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone trading Stellar coin? on: September 29, 2020, 06:51:11 AM
the stellar coin potentially increases this year due to the price of bitcoin is increasing really rise very real stellar coin could reach a price of $0.076 and then down again around the price of $0.074 probability that prices will rise at the end of the year and the increase is significant I think the price $0.4 an increase real.

According to this article-  $0.078 is new traget for lift off
https://www.livebitcoinnews.com/stellar-lumen-xlm-price-could-rally-sharply-if-it-clears-0-078/

If you ask me for the XLM lift-off, the price of bitcoin needs to be a bit less volatile because BTC is constantly moving between $10.3k-10.9k range because of that a lot of altcoins are bleeding including XLM.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FLM On Uniswap FAKE! on: September 29, 2020, 06:40:06 AM
That's one of the disadvantages of ethereum + uniswap anyone can create a fake token on the ethereum chain which they can get listed on uniswap because it's a decentralized exchange. I have seen a lot of fake tokens on uniswap that's why I always enter the contract address instead of searching it.

26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: VISA reveals plans to offer Ripple (XRP) pmts & Ripple launches beta for XRP-bas on: August 03, 2020, 09:15:44 AM
Small revise for your understanding about ripple and XRP. Ripple is company, while XRP is their currency.
When talking about ripple, yes. i admit that ripple has a good progress. They have advantage of low fees and their system is very suitable to be applied in banking system. While xrp is the opposite. Imo,  It is not good to be hodl since mccaleb still have millions of xrp in his personal wallet.

McCaleb still holding that much XRP is still one of the reasons that investors are scared of investing in XRP because that guy at any time turn around and sell huge bag on market. IMO as long as McCaleb is holding that many XRP they will have a hard time moving up price-wise.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could this be the best time to invest? on: August 02, 2020, 08:20:00 AM
If you can see the coin that you what to buy in a big dip then sure you can go ahead and buy but, right now it's really hard to predict which way the market will go because just a couple hours back bitcoin got dumped by almost $1500 which is huge.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The IRS Wants to Track & Trace Privacy Coins and the LN on: August 01, 2020, 08:31:03 AM
I think track and trace is not possible at least for next few years. Even if they ban it in the future won't we still be able to use them? Yes, we won't be able to trade them on US-based exchanges but, we will still be able to transact using Monero because it is a decentralized coin, right?
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: User-friendly EOS wallet? on: August 01, 2020, 08:03:14 AM
A hardware wallet is the best way to store EOS but, If are not interested in storing EOS on hardware then, you can look into scatter wallet (https://get-scatter.com/) or, you can also give simpleos (https://eosrio.io/simpleos/) a try. Scatter wallet is my personal preference.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SIMPLE ADVICE TO ALL NEW TRADERS on: July 31, 2020, 08:01:43 AM

Exactly! when I was new in leverage trading the first mistake I made was using high leverage because of that I lost a lot of bitcoin it's only later I understood higher leverage equals lower liquidation price. We should always take ladder entry with low leverage IMO. Also, do not just blindly open a position without understanding the market.
leverage is important, but I generally do not recommend anyone to trade with leverage if a person is not a professional trader and has less than 10 years of experience in trading

True. I would never suggest any newbie to start leverage trading because you can lose money as easily as you can gain money. There are tons of YouTubers claiming you can easily make money using leverage trading but they are just trying to up their referral count so that they can make money.

32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Pump DeFi projects are on fire! on: July 30, 2020, 07:17:52 AM
Right now, most of my holding is in Bitcoin & Ethereum and a couple of DeFi projects because once BTC is done pumping then would be the time for DeFi projects to shine. Right now, I am only holding a few DeFi tokens that I believe have a good future ahead and sold the rest of them.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some priceless tokens. on: July 29, 2020, 07:48:25 AM
There are still tons of projects that are not listed on any market and most of them were scam projects. I still have so many tokens on my ether wallet which has absolutely 0 value. I think it's just better to forget about those tokens and learn from the mistakes.

The team already made money from ICO and investors ended up with worthless tokens.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not fall for all DeFi HYPES on: July 29, 2020, 07:26:48 AM
Just like the last time scammers took advantage of the ICO hype they will try to do the same again but this time with DeFi projects. They will create fake DeFi projects which will later scam us out of our money we should be extremely vigilant and not invest in any DeFi projects without researching.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do i get scammed? he want my encrypted wallet hash? on: July 27, 2020, 08:44:02 AM
Looks and feels like a scam to be honest. I don't understand what encrypted wallet hash is but I think he talking about a private key? And we should never share our private key with strangers. To be 100% sure I think you should contact their support and get help.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Bad Exchanges on: July 27, 2020, 08:25:30 AM
Does anyone here use the MXC exchange? I bought some DOS network token on MXC and made a withdrawal request a few days back but now I saw that they cancelled my request and am not able to withdraw them anymore. The only option is to trade them.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Eth address crossed $300 on: July 26, 2020, 08:24:34 AM
I am very pleased to see the pumping, Ethereum already crossed $300. I think in running year 2020 Ethereum will hit $1000. What is your opinion?

If you ask me $1000 is still a long way to go. For 2020 I think ether will hover around the price range $450-600 but, if both BTC and ETH have a mega bull run as they had during 2017 & 2018 then I think ETH could touch 4 digit figure.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe in crypto ratings? on: July 26, 2020, 08:17:50 AM
To be honest those type of ratings doesn't bother me anymore but yes calling BTC as the worst cryptocurrency is taking it way too far. BTC is providing such a good a result in the market for the past couple of months its even outperforming EOS (price-wise).
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you going to keep quit about bitwings? on: July 25, 2020, 09:41:36 AM

Bitwings team are doing all they can to avoid giving out the once promised token allocation, I suspecting it's because they plan to list on binance exchange or do a final IEO on binance exchange, I don't know how investors will trust such project with their minephone

I for one will never trust bitwings project because they have lots of red flags in the project. Firstly I have a huge doubt over their phone whether they will be able to do what they claim it will and secondly this bounty issue which means they don't care about the community much.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if Tether (USDT) flips Ethereum (ETH)? on: July 25, 2020, 09:33:05 AM
I've seen that now USDT has reached a market cap of over $10 billion dollars (USD). The sudden rise could've been a result of the massive hype surrounding "De-Fi" and stablecoins. With Tether issuing new units (supply) of USDT, it makes me wonder whenever its "triumph" will last for long? After all, crypto land behaves in strange and bizarre ways. Imagine if USDT flips Ethereum on the market. All the eyes will be on Tether instead of Ethereum, as people are usually "following the money". I think Tether will continue to issue new coins on the Blockchain in order to maintain a high market cap ranking. Only then, USDT will stand alongside Bitcoin as the world's second-largest cryptocurrency (stablecoin) by market cap.

What do you think will happen if USDT flips ETH on the market? Will everything remain the same? Or will ETH lose attention from the mainstream world? Will USDT be able to maintain such high market cap for a long time? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Smiley

I don't think it will have any effect on ETH even if USDT takes the number two spot from ETH.
At the pace, USDT is printing money I think it will be able to maintain that high market cap for a long time unless govt. decides to ban stable coins.

BTC and ETH will always be the number 1 and 2 coin for me no matter what market cap they have.
