121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Jesus Coin will be Nr 1 by the end of the year on: February 13, 2018, 09:46:57 PM
For all those who doubted that JC will bring salvation, here is the proof: JC is now listed on CoinMarketCap: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/jesus-coin/#markets
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Jesus Coin will be Nr 1 by the end of the year on: February 12, 2018, 10:29:59 AM
Congrats! i love the way this thread has been started, with such dry humor triggering a funny dialogue as ridiculous as the title.

Thanks! It is great to see how some people get all worked up about this coin, although it should be taken with a sense of humour  Grin. I suppose the reactions are also due to a significant language barrier, which makes it impossible for some to sense irony.

Btw.: I’ve heard that McAfee will eat his dick if JC won’t be Nr. 1 by Christmas.
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Polymath Scam: Stay Away! on: February 11, 2018, 07:00:37 PM
At first, I was intrigued of their project concept. However, in my own instinct, I decided to pass with Polymath. I don't even want to participate in their airdrop or bounty program, even if it's free. I just don't know if Polymath is legit or scam, but I know one thing for sure.

ICOs are risky and we just proceed at our own risk. It's essential that you should understand all of the risks that you're taking, and be prepared if you expect to lose your money in some unpromising projects. I just don't know about Polymath though.

What would be the financial risk involved if you participate in a free airdrop? I could only imagine that they sell your data. I have thus not submitted a copy of my passport but of my drivers license and the quality was not too great. There is no personal information on it that you couldn’t also find via Google.
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: when you get a coin from ICO, do you guys like to hold coin or sell coins ? on: February 11, 2018, 01:49:45 PM
I hold because short term gains are usually quite low and if you are really convinced by a project it is always worth sticking with it.

What I am trying to understand is if the dev is still involved with the coin. On the exchange it looks like a dead coin which bagholders are trying to get rid of. No mention of Jesus Coin on coinmarketcap. I have asked here which is total supply of the coin and nobody has answered. Given these circumstances, I guess the OP is from a bagholder anxious to unload his worthless coins to the public.
But I agree its whitepaper can make your day - it made mine too.

If I remember correctly, total circulating supply is around 20B. It was mentioned in the Telegram channel. Developers are not really active on this forum.
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: porn/sex industry and cryptocurrency on: February 09, 2018, 10:29:41 AM
I believe that vice token may have a bright future. Their concept - to use the blockchain to proof that content is being consumed and thus being able to pay viewers for their activity- sound interesting to me, which is also why I participate in their signature campaign. After all they are bringing together two big industries -crypto and porn.
They are also partnering with well established companies, I therefore believe that they really have potential.
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pantera Capital to Raise $100 Million in Investment for ICO Hedge Fund on: February 09, 2018, 08:33:57 AM
On the one hand this is a good thing as it gives ICOs more legitimacy, if it is accepted as a mainstream investment opportunity. On the other hand can I already see the fund buying large amounts of tokens at a highly discounted price during a round for private investors and then dumping it on the market once the token hits exchanges.
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple inks deal with Lianlian and another central.bank on: February 09, 2018, 07:23:11 AM
I hope all this news will affect the price of the coin and it will grow. I always though that ripple is promising, so i am glad to hear good news.

The problem is that XRP seems to have been massively overbought. That’s why the last good news also didn’t cause any positive movement. I would be surprised if it was different this time. I do however believe that XRP has a good long term perspective.

Gonna be a hard fall when you figure out jc in general is a scam to dupe all you religious nuts..

I think you will need a lot of JC to make the lord forgive you your heretical words  Wink
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Jesus Coin will be Nr 1 by the end of the year on: February 08, 2018, 03:03:42 PM
I don't like this coin. First , I hate its name .Then I can't find any special features it has , can I name it shitcoin ?

Read the white paper and find out about it’s features for yourself. You may call it shitcoin if that is what you think about Jesus  Grin
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Jesus Coin will be Nr 1 by the end of the year on: February 08, 2018, 02:49:31 PM
No way!!! this project is very original and the site is very beautiful. I also read the white paper and I think this project has a lot of potential since we have a lot of Christians in the world and we will have many new members from the crypto world as most of them do not believe in Bitcoin Jesus anymore so they will believe the true Jesus instead. Jesus is not a scam Grin

You are absolutely right! How could Jesus ever be a scam!?
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Why Jesus Coin will be Nr 1 by the end of the year on: February 08, 2018, 02:26:42 PM
Those of you who don’t know it yet, I would like to make aware of a rather new project that I have really fallen for - Jesus Coin (JC). It will decentralise Jesus on the blockchain.

I suppose you guys are now wondering if I have gone completely mad, but let me explain to you why I love this project:

- JC is currently trading at an incredibly low price and is only available on Etherdelta and Stocks.Exchange. However, it will soon be listed on bigger exchanges and has a similar potential like DODGE

- The goal of JC is to reach the market capitalisation of DOGE by Easter and of BTC by the end of the year. The also have a very strong argument why this will happen: If you don’t believe in it, consider that Jesus was resurrected. How unlikely is this?

- They have a committed and growing community behind the coin. People even dress up as Jesus and record songs to spread the gospel and they do regular airdrops to reward their disciples.

- No other coin offers ultra fast p2p (pilgrim to pilgrim) transactions and will save you from hell.

- The developers are a really cool bunch of guys with a great sense of humour.  No other crypto has a donkey that takes care of the airdrops and deals with stupid requests in such an elegantly sarcastic way.

I also highly recommend to read their white paper, which really made my day.

Check out their website https://jesuscoin.network and their Telegram channel for further details.
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Polymath Scam: Stay Away! on: February 08, 2018, 02:00:12 PM
Hi, I have it from a fried who partially worked for them: don't invest into it, as the developer team is amateurish. So just a heads up here.

Could you be a bit more specific? What do you mean by saying anateurish? What did your friend do for POLY? So far it seems to me that everything was handled quite professionally.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why the NEO Cryptocurrency Price Jumped More Than 50% on: February 08, 2018, 12:04:04 PM
I suppose big investors took the opportunity to buy NEO at a low price during the blood bath. Moreover, the project seems to progress quite well.
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GREEN, GREEN, GREEN a great color on: February 08, 2018, 12:01:18 PM
I think we could see some more red in the near future. It’s probably just a little bounce that we are seeing right now. BTC is still in a downward channel, technically speaking. So the slightest negative news could reverse the current upward movement.
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you bought any coins during this dip, what are your reactions now? on: February 07, 2018, 10:38:03 AM
I have a very strong feeling that this is just a dead cat bounce and that the dip is not over yet. It’s just a minor recovery from the losses that occurred during the last few days. Good for daytraders but for people who prefer to hold this is not “mooning”.

139  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: KYC/AML requirements and (EU) data protection on: February 06, 2018, 02:59:01 PM
Basically they are linking their method same as the bank do in order to prove that their client their dealing is a legit one, and is capable of producing income in a legal basis, I mean if you are not into something suspicious or illegal activities then why should you be afraid of covering up your identity, you shouldn't be wary of something like this.

You have totally misunderstood the question here - it is not whether you should submit proof of identity to the service providers, but whether there are any safeguards in place to protect your data.
Even if you have 'nothing to hide', your personal data (say passport copy) could be used to impersonate you. Data protection laws exist to ensure that companies are held liable if they are careless with personal information.
Its still good to have those institution that do really imposing some laws to those companies who do gather informations into people they are dealing with but yet we cant still be sure if there would be no underground leaks on using such information this is why people would really bother or still hesitate sharing up sensitive information. We dont like for someone to impersonate us when those informations will leak.

I agree that leaks will happen anyway but this is a good movement form EU authority.  Regarding leaks and sensitive information, I recently discovered that my long term password was leaked after some hack which happened 4 years ago from some-kind of webpage where i was registered. Now , I am using 2FA whenever possible , this is the safest way to protect your login details .
Well its still way more better to have this movement rather than on nothing at all. Risk is always there and if you do tend to send any documentation then you should be aware on the possible situation that might happen. If you can afford to disclose your identity then proceed but if not we can just simply not follow on what is being asked.Aside from documentation been submitted we should really take care of our log-in details on whatsoever sites or things we are engage to.
KYC/AML is a good protection to all aspects, it was used to protect the banks, together with the savings of more clients. This is used to identify the source of income of suspicious people. In our country it was do that even in the crypto currencies, they were strictly implement this because they wants to protect the assets of the company, the reputation of the organization and even the the clients of their business.

Using this KYC/AML they can avoid the possible evil jobs, also they can prevent those people who wants to make wrong things to other. In addition they can also eliminate any terrorizing thinking of some people, especially the fraudster.

In the EU crypto exchanges and wallet providers will also soon be required to respect AML obligations. I know that some of you won’t like this as it goes against the anonymity of cryptos, but it serves an important purpose, the fight against the financing of terrorist and criminal activities. I also think that it will give cryptos less of a shady image.
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Polymath Scam: Stay Away! on: February 06, 2018, 12:30:50 PM
I also got my tokens and am really happy to be part of this project. I understand that KYC can be frustrating for some but it seems to me that Polymath really just tries to comply with regulatory requirements here.
