the efficiency, in first, is HIGH dependly by the model ... so , 38th / 40th / 42th

for exemple, the 42th model have better efficiency than 38th model , the chips are selected, and the best is on the 42th model ...
And the efficiency is too depend on your environement, if you run at high temp place, efficiency down ... but in very cool temp, better efficiency,

i see on a year, on 5c ambient temp VS 40c ambient temp, the efficiency change to 10% ! so is important point...

At 50th, depend on your model, but for 42th model with arround 25c temp, give arround 2400w at wall ,

you need to know, the best efficiency is optained at downclock (is available on all models).

For exemple, with mine, the max overclock on T17 is volontary limited at 50th (more 50th is dangerous for this miner).

If you past full kernel here (after 3rd board is down) , i'm sure, see the temp error sensor (or bad count asic)

With very lot of respect, if i say process, i also check it and tested, so, "17 series unlocker" work perfectly with S9K / S9SE ...

OF CORSE , after unlock you need install CORRECT firmware ! so , only good model ...

i already try lot of mods for this psu .... i confirm, this PSU don't check fans, just if you unplug all (3) fans, the psu start without any problem !

this psu is just on temperature control for safe place ... on immersion, no problem !

 

Running with missing one hashboard, is not good idea if you don't have very good anbient temp ... with only two, the pressure of fan is droping, so, drop cooling efficiency ...

this reflextion is available for ALL miners

For say all ... My mod for all S9 is based with OEM bmminer pulled from S9J multi option firmware, and i juste set option 'fixed' start... just option missing to remove by bitmain 

my mod are tested on ALL S9 model (S9 , S9I , S9J) without any problem !

I agree, OEM multi option is not very good, if you make overclock, this firmware take automaticaly high voltage ! is not good for temp and efficiency of corse...

or download my FREE version for S9, which is precisely based on the multi-option OEM, with the unlocking of frequency and voltage;)
