Well the changes seem to be making the server more stable but I have one question should we we changing coins this much?
We start at diff 40 00:24:33 PST Block was Found 00:24:33 PST Diff 40 00:24:37 PST Block was found 00:24:37 PST Diff changes to 3.37K 00:25:13 PST (Total time between diffs = 40 seconds) Block was found 00:25:13 PST Diff changes to 214 00:25:25 PST (Total time between diffs = 12 seconds)
That just seems like it is a bit much for changing when there is a total of 52 seconds between 3 coin changes (this is just a small example of what I have been seeing over the course of the last few hours)
I am running on middlecoin.com:3333 with a ping time of around 28ms to the server
Don't get me wrong I can't argue with the stability I am just curious as why we would switch coins that fast, I would think there would be around a 5 - 10 minute hold on a particular coin before switching.
Our last diff was 214 which started at 00:33:39 PST and ended on 00:43:37 PST at which time it switched to diff 193, total time between coin changes 9 minutes and 58 seconds - This seems more like the range it should be, just not sure why other times it changes so fast (might be a bug in the switching algorithm or the calculation algorithm for figuring out which is the most profitable coin)
just an observation that I am seeing with the new changes and wanted to point it out.

id like to ask others if your reported hashrate is wrong or someone is being nice and mining on my address as a thank you for making the compiled cgminers i dont know, i normaly do about 2.0-2.4mhash i been up over 5mh for awhile today cant say how long. I havet been able to be on pc very long my back surgery i had on dec 16th haset helped me and im in more pain instead of less if someone is mining on my btc address id like to thank you can use all the btc i can get sence im looking at a 2nd surgery.
You have had between 3.2MH/s to 5.7MH/s which started at around 2pm PST and has still been going and starting to taper off as of my last data pull. (one of the new features Im working on for my BFP tool ) yea thts way more then my hardware can pull at best i get like 2.38MH guess someone is rewarding me for doing all the cgminer compiles only thing i can think of or a bug and reporting wrong hash. Yeah not sure can't tell ya more then that based on the data I get in the JSON file but I have a feeling its probably not a bug as you did help a lot of people stay stable over the last few days with your recompile of the cgminer software.

I know mining BTC on GPU is no comparison to scrypt coins converted to BTC. I guess the $/MH value is more of what I was looking for.
I have about 7MH and make about $45 worth of LTC a day. Ive been thinking about trying to mine and convert to BTC more than I have in the past.
0.04BTC is about $31 right now, with the same 5MH I can mine $32 of LTC a day. (as of right now)
This might give you a better idea this user is running at around 6.9905 MH/s http://middlecoin2.s3-website-us-west-2.amazonaws.com/reports/15AHRA8eu93RJ9H7s5U7briD5woPbt3RWu.htmlAdded payouts for ease of view I hate scrolling... I didnt read through this whole thread so I apologize if this has been mentioned.
Two questions/comments about this pool.
1. Has anyone done any calculations that show roughly how much more profit can be made mining here vs mining BTC directly? (I realize that mining BTC with GPU now is pointless, but Id like to see this compared to something) Maybe even converted to USD?
Calculations for BTC mining with based on coinwarez.com mining calculator for 2 MH/s (currently what I would call my lower average) - This does not include pool fees and is set at the default power cost and usage so that value would change based on power usage. Time Frame | BTC Coins | USD | Power Cost (in USD) | Pool Fees (in USD) | Profit in USD | Hourly | 0.00002955 | $0.03 | $0.05 | $0.00) | ($0.02) | Daily | 0.00070909 | $0.62 | $1.20 | $0.00 | ($0.58) |
My daily is between 0.01 (on the low end) and 0.04 (on the high end) so really mining BTC with my GPU's would cost me more money then it would be worth.. Someone with more hashing power might be better off but for my setups Ill be staying here.

Well been running on the US server with the load balance option set since about 7am PST this morning and it seems to be leveling out I started the morning running around 1.78KH/s and over the last couple of hours its been stable at 2.1KH/s still down from what I normally run at around 2.4 - 2.5KH/s but my unexchanged and my balance amounts are going up like they were when I was only mining on the EU server.
My rejects seem to be down as well.
Currently running non modified cgminer 3.1
Windows or linux? And what is your ping to the US server? I have 1 Windows box and 2 Linux boxes currently and I am not at home so I can not give you 100% what my ping to the US server is Ill gladly post it when I get home this even around 6pm PST.

Could H20 remove all the addresses without any hashing power? Or at least remove the ones that haven't mined on middlecoin for a certain amount of time... It takes forever to load the main page and that's because there are so many addresses to load. More than half of the addresses on the page do not have any hashing power.
Use this if you want been working on it for a little while and everything seems to be ok minus updates are not updating for the past couple of hours as other have shown but you can go directly to your information by using the w={WalletID} in the url http://www.bfpcoin.comWhat do you mean by "updates are not updating"? My miners are currently mining at 2.4MH/s but your tool has been showing 1.4 MH/s for me ever since I tried it some 30 minutes ago. Is that what you mean? That this 1.4MH/s is some stale number from a couple of hours ago? Thanks! Yep that's what I meant

I am impressed by the hasrates you all seem to get. None of my R9280Xs go higher than 710 (and they get very hot, above 90 all of them and as a result the speed is sometimes reduced as low as 550).
I guess it is basically a heat problem... But it would be nice to be able to get 750 out of every card, it would mor eor less an extra card for me.
What's your config look like? After a bit of tweaking I have got mine up to 900+KH/s with a temp around 84 - 86 depending on fan speed. 900 with a 280x? Hard to believe... Sorry with a 290x not a 280x miss read the OP

Hello I have a question. I currently have about 60 servers running with all 3 x R9 290. I use Sapphire and XFX as brand.
1) They run all about 875 khs per card, about 2625 each machine. 2) My temps depend. They are mounted on the motherboard. But I am getting temps from 80 - 94. Is this to high?! When the temp reaches the 94, the speed drops back to 865 or a little lower.
All servers are located in the datacenter with good airflow. But maybe we should consider to change the cassis to get a better temp result.
In short: my question is if the temperatures I am getting are maybe way to high and dangerous for the cards?
Thanks!
Personally I don't like my cards getting to hot and about 85 is when I start to bump up the fan speed or add in another fan. Im currently running R9 290X and getting around 843kh/s with a average temp of around 78 on the high end I get around 81. I have not had any issues so far but I know when I have had cards that got up in the mid 90's they started to have problems and eventually just completely crapped out on me.
