701  Economy / Lending / Re: Wanting 0.02 loan on: May 26, 2014, 10:21:57 AM
Wanted 0.02 for 3 days 0.022 return

No one will lend it to you without collateral lol.
Unlike OP, you are just a newbie and there is a very low cost for you to run away and register a new account.
702  Economy / Services / Re: PB Mining -- 5 year mining contracts! on: May 26, 2014, 10:15:44 AM
I'd like to ask again, if there is clear cut evidence that this is a legit mining operation.  Such as showing an address that receives newly generated coins.

Nope. No evidence that they have the hashrate (over 500 TH/s now). The payment is sent through mixer rather than from new coins.

You can find lots of discussion here. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=484355.0;all
703  Economy / Services / Re: How to make bitcoin faucet? on: May 26, 2014, 09:14:06 AM
What do you gain when you own a faucet?

You can get quite a lot of traffic to your site, but as bitsmichel explained the ad revenue may not be large enough to cover the faucet payment. Cheesy
704  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Possible drawback on using Crypto currencies? on: May 26, 2014, 09:09:26 AM
If I'm not mistaken, Bitcoin was valued for as low as $0.01 back when it was starting.

Just for your information, the very first price for bitcoin was $1 = 1,309.03 BTC on Oct 5, 2009 and theymos thought it was overpriced. Grin

Guys, I am extremely happy to let you all know that they sent me back every penny today. Yes, the guys at Paymium who ran instawallet just returned almost 4btc to me that I sent to their wallet by complete accident. A wallet address I had not used since 2011. I managed to figure out a way to prove that I was the one that set the coins, and after a few, 3 months ,I got paid back every penny.

I figured I owed it to them, davout and boussac, to let them know how much they made my day today.

Thanks guys!

Glad to see your got it back. To be honest, I am a bit surprised to see they agree to send it back to you. Grin

707  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: X-Value.com - About 80% Monthly Income on: May 26, 2014, 08:42:24 AM
It is NOT a ponzi site.
All ponzi say that.

It is one of the best sites for increasing BTC in the world.
Yup, before it collapses.

Anyway, I guess my message is clear and I don't want to keep on hijacking your thread.
Good luck.
708  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: X-Value.com - About 80% Monthly Income on: May 26, 2014, 08:41:44 AM
X-value.com is online for 114 days, 1233 registered users, $ 14914.80 paid.

You really trust those stats posted on the site lol?.
The domain was registered on January 31, 2014.
But if you do a google search, you will find no one talking about it before Apr 14. Cheesy

And what?

The stats are simply faked.  Smiley

710  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How much will 1 BTC cost by May 31 2014? on: May 26, 2014, 08:08:22 AM
It is so difficulty to predict bitcoin price, even for short-term.
The price was just 450 a week ago, and now it is 590. Who knows what it will be 5 days later Cheesy
711  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How much would Bitcoin be by May 31,2014 on: May 26, 2014, 08:01:13 AM
Why is there two threads on the price on this exact same day? Why is it special?

Because it is the "World No Tobacco Day" http://www.who.int/campaigns/en/ ?
Or probably it is just the end of May. Cheesy
712  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin ever reach $1000 dollars again? on: May 26, 2014, 07:50:59 AM
I feel the general trend for any new thing is that the value shoots up extremely high at first, then drops disappointingly low, and then repeats that cycle (but less intense) until it becomes mostly stable.

Pretty much so, because a lot of them are panic-buyers and panic-sellers.

When bitcoin started getting mentioned in mass media in late 2013, a lot of people buy bitcoin when they completely have no idea what bitcoin is or how bitcoin works, thinking they can't miss the opportunity and driving the bitcoin price up very fast.

When gox was down and when there were rumors about the China bans, they again have no idea and sell their bitcoin very cheap, thinking it is the end of bitcoin. Cheesy
713  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: bitcoin-source.net is a scam ? on: May 26, 2014, 07:44:07 AM
no I meant to say if the site "pays"

No idea.

you've tried it?

Nope, I don't play any ponzi/hyip.
714  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Self welcoming on: May 26, 2014, 07:36:59 AM
Hi Guys,
I actually signued up some time ago, but hadn't had time to post much at all, so I thought I would welcome myself to the forum. Smiley
The Sticky said to post a a semi detailed welcome or don't bother.

Bio: Have been involved with Crypto-currency for ~18-24months now. I've a small scale mining rig for both BTC (ASIC) and DRK (GPU), however i have mostly accrued a quantity of each through small trades.
I have used MintPal, and Cex for trading on exchanges, preferring to use MintPal.

I'm also Looking at building a new mining rig to specifically focus on DRK mining (hopefully) in the near future.

715  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: bitcoin-source.net is a scam ? on: May 26, 2014, 07:34:56 AM
in what sense? no because I would like to invest but I wanted an opinion.

What do you mean by "in what sense"?

It is a ponzi because it works exactly like a ponzi.
The money you deposited is used to pay the people joined early.
If there are enough people joined after you, you will get paid. If not, you will not. Wink
716  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can my Bitcoin be stolen on: May 26, 2014, 07:32:31 AM

+1 for cold storage (creating and maintaining your wallet in a device with no internet connection).
BTW, it is so ironic to see this advice from TF lol. Tongue
717  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can my Bitcoin be stolen on: May 26, 2014, 07:31:03 AM
If someone has access to my PC

If your wallet has been encrypted with a strong password, it is still safe.

if i am infected by a virus

Both your wallet file and your password could be captured, and your bitcoin will be gone very soon.  Wink
718  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: about mining on: May 26, 2014, 07:27:24 AM
my miner show that stratum have found a block saying "stratum detected new block"

The message simply means somebody found a new block. It doesn't mean your pool or you found a block.
719  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: bitcoin-source.net is a scam ? on: May 26, 2014, 07:24:20 AM

I cannot believe how much negative trust he has Cheesy:D

BFL has much worse trust lol. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=44366

How can you still be a hero member and have such negative trust?!

He is a hero member not because he is a hero lol, but just because he has 480+ activity.
