Marketcap= indicator of nothing

Is it just me or is the bitcoin actually going according to the graph of October to December graph of 2013? At the end, we should remember what happened that time. Gox This time I need a solvent exchange to cash out profits.
|
|
|
So what happens when the exchanges run out of bitcoin, low liquidity, then the Altcoin bubble bursts and all the alt-loving newbs frantically run for the trade back to btc? $30B trying to get back into btc all at once?
Marketcap has nothing to do with the amount of traded coins. Only a friction of each altcoin (and bitcoin) is traded. Most of the coins are lost or in cold wallet.

500-900$. The next correction will be brutal, but bitcoin is going to recover. Hopefully not another 2 year bear market.
|
|
|
Entering bubble territory. We may see 5k before the first major correction.
Feels like the 2013 bubble with all the FOMO. I'll go woth the same strategy as always: Sell a small fraction on the way up to lock-in profits and stock-up on the way down. Let's hope I won't be GOXXED again.

Sold some at 85$ Don't regret it. At that time the price was ok and the profits huge. Never regret the past, you can't change it.

And its Bytecoin... lol
Atm totally pumped. Nice gains for a 80% premine Scamcoin. I sold (most of the coins) with fat profits 1. LTC 2. XRP 3. NXT 4. ARDR 5. ETC 6. ETH

|
|
Even the most unknown altcoins are getting pumped, incredible... Nothing bad about that. Just sell all the way up (back to BTC). You can easily double for BTC holdings withing a few weeks without much risk. 10x (or more) increses in BTC portfolio are not for the faint of heart.

Ransomwares are very highly sophisticated malware. Bullshit. Ransomware is pretty easy to develop (even from scratch).

It's because they don't want to help spread awareness of Bitcoin to more Average Joes as being more valuable than fiat currency, and they want to continue to control the narrative surrounding Bitcoin.
Tinfoil-hat user spotted.

Ridiculous post
If BTC skyrocks to 100-500k $, the dollar will be in hyperinflation and your million $ (BTC equivalent) are worth not much more than now. Atm in a normal western country you require 50-100k $ to live a normal life (without luxury). To relax till your death (e.g. 40yr old male), you need at least 40yr of salary in BTC. Let's assume the best case, that means you need at least 2Mio worth of BTC. 10k $ per BTC: 200 BTC To become really rich, even 1000 BTC will probably not be enough.
|
|
|
Approx 1000-2000BTC. Either you bought at single digit levels or remain poor. Even 20-50 BTC won't help much. Better sell now.

March the 1st overall altcoin/shitcoin marketcap was $3.2 billion. 9 weeks later it's $22.2 billion! Let that sink in! So that is ~$2.1 billion per week flooding into altcoins.
A common mistake here on bitcointalk. Only a tiny amount of coins is traded. The Marketcap has nothing to do with the amount of inflow-money.

Who cares? DASH was instamined, BTC was premined, ...
99.99% here are in for the profit in the first place and in the second place for the technology.

I requested a payout of 20$ and it was even sent but coinbase rejected that payment for some reason and it is pending for 2 days. Payout 20$ from an exchange? That's not even worth the effort to start a withdrawel. They should start to increase the minimum payout to 10k $. Get rid of the poor.

The "bigger" altcoins are still a lot of % up (in BTC) compared to 2 weeks ago. Lot of easy cash -> buy altcoin, wait for pump, dump for BTC. Increase BTC holdings while sleeping.

And gold? Bitcoin is like digital gold, it's gold v2.0 because it is more portable, more divisible. Bitcoin has better potential as well.
Gold is a security, bitcoin is an investment. Holding both is the way to go.

Not have invested 5k USD fiat each month for the past 3 years in bitcoin. At least I bought some coins for low double digits.

A couple of BTC (20-100) is a good investment. But never put all eggs in one basket (BTC). Diversity is key.
I traded some BTC against physical gold to lock-in some profits and rebalance my portfolio after the recent price rise.
