421  Economy / Speculation / Re: I don't get the price movement (or lack thereof).... on: January 17, 2014, 12:24:07 PM
If you watch the graphs you can notice that some people are selling big hoping to buy more in the next 2 weeks. This moves the price down a little but not much since the majority holds. It's still a good thing because those selling don't want to move their fiat out of the market (due to all the good news) and will invest it in the comming weeks.

Yeah.. all in china want to keep their money @ huobi, because they won't be able to get it out after jan 31... love that logic.
Chinese won't buy back in. They try to get out.
422  Economy / Speculation / Re: I don't get the price movement (or lack thereof).... on: January 17, 2014, 11:43:07 AM
A lot of people are waiting another week to see what will happen with China. My prediction: the market won't move but then start creeping up when people realize the Chinese New Year horror story has no substance.

Only people with no fiat left talk like this  Wink
You bought in too high and can't buy more.

But the price will drop at least 30% till end of february. It will quickly recover, but it will be one of the best buying opportunities till Q3 2014.

This bill will pass. Russia is not democracy. Bad for all russian bitcoiners. Getting fiat in and out of russia (large amounts), is not that easy. Bitcoin could have been the solution.
424  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 16, 2014, 01:09:25 PM
Legit.
Banks don't want to get any trouble. They need to be out of bitcoin business before jan 31.
425  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 14, 2014, 10:59:38 PM
Actually bitcoin miners are fucked.
99% of the miners (paid in BTC) won't reach ROI ever !
They hoard the coins and wait for a price increase, otherwise they all lose money.

If the mining business collapses and 5000 coins are sold daily, there will be blood (candles)  Grin

At the moment, only a few can win. Most can't cash out or they will lose money (market collapse). That's one of the main reason for the steady uptrend. It's not market adoption or increased utility. Transactions didn't increase very much the last 3 years. The price did with only a few percentage of bitcoins traded.

Way to cheap.
And probably noone will use this trading site. Looks fishy.

Wait I thought we were all doomed? Sorry Bears back to your caves.

First we have to breach 1040$ @ GOX and after that 1100$.
Otherwise it's just a head and shoulders with a high left shoulder.
428  Economy / Speculation / Re: This might just explains the whole Gox situation on: January 13, 2014, 07:31:26 PM
I asked this before, but I will ask it again, do you guys still trade at gox and do you have funds sitting there ? for people who are waiting for withdrawals, how long are you waiting now ?
I have a $1000 withdrawl by international wire that has been pending since July. I'm reasonably certain at this point that it is money I will never see again.

Open a ticket. Ask for a cancellation and your money will be credited in your account balance within 1 day. Buy coins, transfer them out -> never use GOX again.

Good read:

How much does it cost to produce one Bitcoin? (Market Value Comparison)

Think about it.

I've to take my pills. Damnit.
Oh shit.. it's just bitcoin that drives everyone crazy.

225 MH/s is a good investment. This is script mining not SHA256 mining. Don't be fooled by the low numbers.
432  Economy / Speculation / Re: Warning: Huobi has closed their personal bank accounts system on: January 13, 2014, 01:17:11 PM
Yes FUD Branson. And I thought you were meant to be taking us out of Earth's atmosphere? Just remind me never to book a seat in your spaceship Buddy!! He he he!

Kids are not permitted in my spaceship. And german kids are even worse.
433  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 13, 2014, 01:14:38 PM
and we've got some action ====> testing sub 800 than a new ATH ?

Testing sub 700 @ huobi first before we go back up.

If you don't get on board now Branson this time no balloon ride!  Cheesy

?
I've probably 10-100x more bitcoin than you. But even more fiat  Wink
I'm not the all in speculator. Diversification is key.

If the price goes down, you lose much. If the price goes up -> you win.

In my case, if the price goes down, it's a buying oppurtunity. If the price rises, I win with my btc holdings.
Either way, I win. You are not. That's the difference.
434  Economy / Speculation / Re: Warning: Huobi has closed their personal bank accounts system on: January 13, 2014, 01:13:11 PM
Huobi is tanking  Wink
Want to catch the knife?

Yep, Huobi is leading this sell off by a long way.

Ha ha! You two crack me up! It's time to jump aboard now FUDmeisters! Ha ha ha!!!  Cheesy

FUD?
Sorry, but ignoring the fact that chinas bitcoin supporters will have a problem to acquire more bitcoins after jan 31, is not very wise.
Bitcoin will go up this year. That is very likely. But first we have to suffer the chinese exodus.

btw so cool that Sir Branson is among us Cheesy

You don't think it's so cool after I dump some coins  Grin
438  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 13, 2014, 10:43:15 AM
Something's changed, this bearish trend makes no sense and the FUD machine's going in new directions. If its being manipulated we're due some panic-stimulating rolling dumps but this looks more like preparation for damage control, anything happening that could cause panic in the fiat world?

The price is still too high.
With huobi closing @ january 31 the price will drop.

550-650$ is the target, that's approx 50% of the ATH.  It could even go as low before the chinese bubble, but that's highly unlikely.
439  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is having 1 bitcoin like having a lottery ticket? on: January 12, 2014, 04:59:08 PM
I didn't say that he is retarded.
440  Economy / Speculation / Re: I AM HODLING on: January 12, 2014, 04:51:40 PM

Sorry to disappoint you, but you clearly missed a few pyramid stages. Buy now and wait till more buy in and you can cash out partially with a 10-100x profit  Grin
BUY NOW, we all need your fiat.
