MTGox still hasn't given any explanation to the phantom market activity yesterday which is disturbing to me. Actually, MagicalTux quite quickly let people know that this was a normal order, which was so large it triggered the security system, requesting manual review. He accepted the order, and business resumed as usual. That said, mtgoxlive and the APIs suck. One can't trade when everything goes down the moment something big happens. Where did he say this? |

If you look at the bottom of this you can see the phantom activity. That thick line that was going from 6-7 for 20 minutes or so is now a single skinny line. This was phantom activity as it is no longer on the charts so it apparently never happened. MTGox owes us an explanation.
That "phantom activity" seemed to be the same set of data being sent about 5 times over that 20 min period, what a joke like. |

Probably for the same reason I don't like to share my margin balance  I hope that was a joke. Zhous not betting against us, at least i hope not, disclosing the reserve balances would somewhat help prove that, it would also let us know hes not doin anything fishy with the moneys. |

The short from 6.5852? did you make any profit? aye now someone is selling like mad is not me hehe ok that screenshot is so fake it isn't even funny.. make your math 2345*6.5852=15442.294 15442.294*0.838%=129.40642372 that part works out... its the fact that the difference between buy and base in that screen shot is not 0.838% its more like 0.06% 0.091% Edit: got my numbers wrong there, they might still be wrong... im tired |
