1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Dayun Zig Z1 - Lyra2Rev2 6.8GH/s Asic miner on: November 03, 2018, 02:04:34 PM
Not sure if its right to say that out loud at the moment but a miner without a relatively solid (I call bitmains support relatively solid) support is just a waste. Cause they all come to a point where they have an issue. And sorry to say that (AKMINER Included) all you Chinese sellers do not provide any after buy services and its ridiculous. Even a repair at dayun is on payment and that makes the ROI get to a unreachable amount of time.

We resell ourselves but we fix those things in our office daily. Fans not working, firmware not ok, control-board crashing and none, absolutely none of all of the resellers nor manufacturer does anything or takes responsibility. We fix the miners but only if we have physical access to them, remotely trying to fix is a mess (the problems described in this group are mostly local network issues dhcp/static ip or simply an IP problem).

We are trying to collect the issues and create a little pdf helper for everyone...not sure when we are ready but just wanted to say again, dont buy miners that do not have any support, its not worth it and dont believe the bull**** those sellers are telling you about support and service, they wont do shit at the end.

Will anyone actually ROI on those before you earn 4$/day?

Sure, if its priced at $1000.

it is already 1900 USD
I guess 1000 it's just a matter of days... or hours!

You all realizing that this site is a scam no? No Z1 (or Z1+) available at that price...

For some reason non of the Chinese websites are made in the right way or really secure. They all using fake certificates like Norton or McAfee, simply copy pasting their images to gain trust. Truth is, none of them do give a dayum about customers privacy. They even sometimes post publicly tracking numbers Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy. I do not put my credentials in any of them without protection Cheesy...

wow, not good.. vertcoin network hashrate went from 1.35Th/s to 3.4Th/s, monacoin went from 4Th/s to 8Th/s. Guess some big mining operation or a more powerful asic came online

I see, let me guess...

Soon Bitmain will announce a new lyra2rev2 asic that will be shippend in 1-2month.
Truth is, the miners are already build and they are using them before they sell them...just a theory but some ppl say this happend before.

Yeah, very possible. There were some big orders pending too (we have that info from the factory). Probably they got shipped out last week and have been connected last night. Dayun is not very open at communications since its said also that the actual factory is Pangolin (At least our hashboards that were dead were sent to the Whatsminer factory)...Playing little games the Chinese as usual. The A9 has shown good stability and is now again our main target when stocking up our farm...

still not get confirmed news from China market ,will let u know if any internal news we got ,

I am internal too my friend Smiley But always good if you share some more insights. I am in China myself, just Friday I went to the factory checking on our miner order for this week.

HEEEEEELP!  Huh Huh Huh Huh

Hi there! Anyone experiencing also the circles turning and turning and no hashing?

Would be great if someone could post how the updating of firmware works. It seems that its not that easy.

Thanks!

You need to program in your wallet address and the correct pools before it'll stop displaying that. Make sure it says online in the corner as well.

When you say "programm in" do you mean simply set our pools? We somehow dont make it to set that "offline" in red to be green and "online"...what could it be?

Hello,

I was considering buying a Zig Z1 from asicminermarket and i noticed in a thread that you had bought one from there. Would you recommend this site for ordering ASICs ? How was your experience with them? Prompt delivery?

Thanks for your help

asicminermarket is famous for delays and average customer service. At least for me and the little crypto community around me they always delivered late. Sometimes it looks like they got great prices just cause they deliver stock as batches...with a thousend different excuses.

There are better ones like cryptodrilling and prominerz.com, I always check asicminervalue.com to get an overview....

Whats the Scam about it? I mean, where on that screenshot is the Scam Indicator?

Let me know, I already checked...does not look scammy. Even the price on the site looks realistic...
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Dayun ZIG Z1 Problems on: September 29, 2018, 01:27:47 PM
The best help I can give you is letting you know that you posted in the BITCOIN section, when you are talking about an altcoin miner. Try posting there, I guarantee you will get more help than posting here in the incorrect place.

Thanks for the hint. It seems theybreally didnt setup any channel for support. WTF
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Dayun ZIG Z1 Problems on: September 28, 2018, 01:59:56 PM
Hi guys,

I just recieved my Dayun ZIG Z1 6.8GH and having issues with one of the hashboards. Its just dead, shows red and 0 Hashrate in the Panel. Huh Huh Huh Cry

Also two boards show only half the power of the hashrate needed to reach the hashrate.

- Anyone knows the support channel for Dayun?
- Is there a way to download the firmware again and mount it on the stick? I don't find the firmware anywhere...nor a website of Dayun around the web...

Help appreciated!
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Baikal Giant-B on: March 07, 2018, 05:01:00 PM
Hi,

My Baikal giant b had 1 bad hashboard.
I removed 1 and sended it back.
Theire was told i could run it with only 2 hashboards.
But when i power it up, i have only a fan at 100% and red lights (not blinking).

Does anyone have an idea to get it running with 2 hasboards?

Fabian

Did you get your board back since then? Anyone having experience with baikal hashboard repairs?

Thanks a lot for any help!

16  Economy / Service Discussion / Bitmain Repair on Warranty on: January 30, 2018, 08:21:18 PM
Hey there!

Anyone can tell form experience how the warranty service of bitmain exactly works? I have an S9 with a low hashrate not showing one board and one with only 2/3 of the Chips. It sucks cause I did a firmware Upgrade and it went up to almost a perfect hashrate and then dropped after another restart and two boards showed 15 degrees...which i have never seen before.

Fact remains, I would like to know if some of you know whats the fastest solution, also on payment...I prefer to pay a guy to fix that thing instead of sending it to hongkong.

Thanks for all the help already!
