No. This is different. Among investors, these unsold tokens will not be distributed. This is the difference from Sophia. I already asked the same question, although they did not answer it. At the moment, the following conclusions can be drawn from the developers' answers and from whitepaper: They did not decide whether they will have their own blockchain or they will work on the Ethereum blockchain. I think that there will be a second option, since this is simpler. The bounty decision has not yet been made, so this "User Acquisition", which is 25%, can be used for bounty or even for airdrop. Since this is the only way to acquire users and expand the client base. Given that all unsold tokens will be shipped there, it will be a very large volume, much more than 25%. We don't have soft cap. Regarding hard cap, it depends on the ITE day. During the ITE, 350 000 000 BTRN will be distributed. The lowest value is 0.10€ and the highest value is 0.18€ So the hard cap will be around ~50 mln euro, but without soft cap? What will be with unsold tokens? Any tokens that were reserved for the ITE and Private ITE Bonus but remain undistributed will be allocated into the “User Acquisition” token pool. |

I am not sure that an airdrop would push the platform. At the moment it is beta status and nice to see something and good for investors to show the development skills also. An airdrop would also bing many people that will just register and will never logon. After success of Project start and collecting money they got the chance to develop the platform and the people will come. I think its too early to hold an airdrop, it will be better if they wait for the ad platform and marketplace first, so people will be able to use the tokens immediately. |

That is pure speculation! I would suggest holding SAT for a long time and wait for the team to meet the roadmap targets. The ICO price is at $0.14. You can expect it to dip a bit as early buyers who bought in for the bonus cashes out. It will depend on the token value at that time, we have to wait and see until the ad platform and marketplace are launched. If before that, yes its a pure speculation. |

Agree. Facebook is control by #Mark and his team/company. We all want freedom and Sphere social may be the answer! decentralization and not controlled by any one!! If facebook stuck with their current system, for sure it will be easier for sphere to beat it. Blockchain technology is better than the traditional one! It depends. Dont wanna draw the devil to the wall but what will happen with Sphere when they ban blockchain and its products? In these days, there should be a backpu plan for such scenarios Why would they ban blockchain and its products? The technology has spread enough already and I don't think anybody has powers enough to just ban it. They might have done it in early stages, but now I think it's already too late. The government can find loopholes and implement new laws to restrict the users. crypto laws need to be in place to protect users from scam projects.. but complete blocking is a bad move for every government. The countries banning crypto are the ones that did not find a way yet to earn money on it  The thing they could do with this one is blocking the use of it.. The truth is central bank and fiat currencies are threatened by cryptocurrencies, so ofcourse they dont want to just let it. |

Yes social network are now a part of the life of many people, big social network platform are everywhere now. I think that there is a place for a platform in the crypto world too, sphere has good chance to sucess I think, with the decentralization spirit people who like crypto will like sphere.
Indeed, I also think that is a good idea to launch a decentralizated social network platform. That increases the security of the users data. You are right. I think people trust facebook and twitter too much. Nobody knows what they are doing with the data. The give it to the NSA,... Your data is gold to those companies, they will not delete stuff lightly Thats a fair trade for the free use of the platform actually, most of people dont want to read Terms and Conditions first. |

Exactly, basically there's no ready platform, it has to remain interesting for your existing users as well as attract new ones. This can only be done by constantly improving and adding new features.
I think it shouldnt be called not ready since it can already be used and even its already being used, the rest is only the maintenance. |

When I used to use Facebook (in Facebook's early days) it wasn't polished either they only improved it overtime and took several years to become what it is now
and now it's on the decline and projects like this are nibbling at it's feet. Even though I don't use Facebook, it will be really interesting to see if and how it can adapt to the changing market. They have to follow the trend. If i see the roadmap, i think i wont see any interesting thing this year except the token price growth. |

This is a neat idea, but hardly unique. Most e Sport betting platforms seem to focus on spectating other games, and placing bets on those gamers.
In my eyes, the market has a serious need for a betting platform that is PVP! I want to place bets on my Halo game vs. my good friends! I don't necessarily want to bet against two pro teams. I want to place bets on my own games!
Does anyone have any knowledge of platforms similar this that are out there? So far from what I have seen, none exist!

I didn't try it yet but from the caption on the images that being provide on the article, it stated beta web app. This is a nice beta version. Actually the interface design isnt really different from facebook, and there are around 200 online users. Great. This release is a major milestone for SPHERE. I'm impressed by them being sensitive to community request such as this web app. Keep it up. Yes, this is getting exciting. And there are many ways to help them to attract more people, maybe like exclusivity of something, maybe a game. |

This is potential project that has ability to replace Facebook and Twitter at least in aspect of massive crypto-advertising in social media.
that is very unlikely to happen but Sphere can get his audience in this field and be successful you never know what's going to happen. but if sphere manages to get popular in the crypto space, that's a lot. Its still not easy because there are also many social media projects here in crypto. If they can be as popular as steemit, then that's pretty good. |

The plain truth is that moderation is a form of censorship. ie. you are still censoring what you deem inappropriate. There are certain things that should be censored (eg. Sexually explicit things, excessive gore), but what should never be censored is ideas. Unfortunately, the latter has been censored by the ideologically left by labelling it has hatespeech.
What about when someone is insulting other users or even is threatening them? Ignore/block button ofcourse, iam really sure they will provide it, no reason to not. |

Ah, the important issue of censorship in a decentralised environment. Without any rules/culling/censoring, social media can turn ugly very quickly. Will Sphere have staff members that will remove offensive content? One thing is certain - if people see pictures/video posted on Sphere that disgust them, they will not want to use it.
It is horns of a dilemma. I hate censorship but there are some very fragile areas. I don't know how will they solve this problem. Cencorship is a must, otherwise the platform will run wildly and for sure will make the project get a very bad image/name. Yes, many people will feel uncomfortable if there are some porn/disturbing pictures and videos. But I think this is not a difficult thing to overcome, this is a common problem. |

The current Bonus is 45% now, till the end of the next week.
I felt they're giving too much bonus as it'll be harmful for the short term investors, we have seen lots of projects got cracked up because of this. I just hope they have some good back up for this. On the other hand they need to secure funds to run the project, but that could also scare away investors in the final stages. Off course if the project is solid and will be successful this will not matter A good strategy, especially if you want to be a holder of the token, is to accumulate during the initial sell-off after listing on an exchange. True in most cases, but there's not always a sell off (think ICON), and than you can miss the boat. So I sometimes like to middle/DCA Well, usually with this kind of bonus, there is a locking period so the prices are not dumped, I will enter an ICO that gives me a lot f bonus, and also to lock it, i don't mind waiting, but it appears that is not the case here, so lets hope the project is not dumped much, the price will rise eventually, but after how much time? Once people will see the benefit of this over Facebook. And more importantly: once there friends and family move to Sphere They cant see a lot of benefits for now actually, i think its only decentralized so far. I hope there will be more soon. |
