1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [TOKENSALE] Omnitude (eCommerce blockchain) on: April 14, 2018, 05:47:30 PM
To be regulatory compliance, Omnitude will have a strong KYC policy implemented. Members have to submit the documents, whose verification will take place after the public token sale. This is being handled by Omnitude dedicated software during the sale.

It will be a great success, can anyone confirm when we can see omnitude live? It will be interesting to see how the team will place ideas into action

According to there, roadmap, Phase 1 of the product will be launched in Q4 of 2018 and phase 2 of the product will be launched in Q1 of 2019 as the project will be ready. So there is not much wait for the launch of the omnitude project, it will be a platform that will definitely take eCommerce solution to next level.

Cool project. Managed to get into Alpha.

Apparently, post-ICO, they're going to release their proof of concept, where they'll show how many transactions can be made in a second I think With hyperledger is around 100,000 transactions per second not sure if that's achievable as of now,
but it's nice to see how close they can get. Especially whenThier business model  is aiming to target large loads and high-frequency transactions.

I saw following on the "omnitude" homepage. This is something big, anyone noticed that?
Quote
ICO bench 4.7
Track ICO 4.6
ICORanker 98%
ICOmarks 9.2

These ratings are probably because of omnitude plug and play blockchain technology that allows quick and cost-effective integration of CMS (content management system), ERP (Enterprise resource planning) and WMS (warehouse management system). Integration of all these three technologies is expensive and will take a lot of time for delivery.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [TOKENSALE] Omnitude (eCommerce blockchain) on: April 09, 2018, 10:19:59 PM
It will need to provide real-time data of where the item is along the shipment process and hence can be integrated into shipping platforms. Omnitude will be able to bring this if the systems that are currently being used are not cross compatible. This will cause a loss in the data value that businesses can extract from it.

Here it shows the importance of real time business data.

The most important asset anyone can have in business is good data. Success in the business world is all about making decisions, making them well and making them quickly. And the better informed one is, the easer that is to do. With data never previously available on the scale it is today, the art of success has shifted from being good at acquiring it, to being good at processing and extracting value from it.

Customer service will also be able to boost it because customers will have accurate product assortment and quantity. There will be less issues of customers paying for products and the warehouse not being able to send it off for shipment. This is because Omnitude platform will be able to understand and conveyed to the seller or supplier that a particular item is out of stock and automatically replenish it.

cms connected has some interesting stats: E-commerce sales remained strong in 2015 as online sales totaled $341.7 billion for the year, a 14.6% increase over 2014's $298.3 billion, according to non-adjusted estimates released this morning by the U.S. Department of Commerce.

Interesting to say the least that the growth has been increasing at a rapid pace but with the introduction of blockchain tech, it could seriously promote growth like nothing else....

Hackers in an e-commerce setting steal customer data through middle man attacks which Omnitude's middleware shall seek to reduce. What this does is that it enables a customer to have confidence in the system and to spend their money with ease. This is key for the token to rise in value and for Omnitude to be successful in integrating into e-commerce platforms and with e-commerce businesses.

Let us all face that blockchain is really changing the way we make purchases and buy online. Once it has really been adopted on a mainstream level, business-to-business interactions will never be the same.

Because omnitude already has launched a proof-of-concept of its middleware platform provides the public a high level of confidence in investing in its ICO. This proof-of-concept does for things as per they're medium article listed on they're blog.

Proof of concept from Medium

We understand that the Omnitude vision is a very big concept, so our aim is to give participants in the Omnitude token sale a small taster of what the initial implementation of this vision could look like. This Proof of Concept tackles two of our Whitepaper cases…. Single Sign On and System Integration.

Giving a trial run is important because it gives people the chance to give feedback on the system.

Ebay, Amazon and even Alibaba and its variants have revolutionised the way we purchase items and the speed at which we are able to have them delivered. It truly is about the convenience and the hassle-free way of living.

For sure! hackernoon has a good article on it.

These fees vary by platform, but the range is generally 10–50% of the total sale price. Retailers build the cuts that E-commerce platforms take into the final price, which leads to higher prices for consumers and less profit for retailers. It’s a lose-lose for everyone except the E-commerce platform.

Furthermore, many of these centralized platforms cut-off direct contact between consumers and sellers. Amazon, for example, allows retailers one follow up email asking for a review and/or checking on the satisfaction of the customer. This drastically reduces the amount of relationship management a retailer can provide. To make matters worse, Amazon employs its own customer service team, who aren’t familiar with the products or company policies. This further adds to the transaction cost and could easily be done by the merchant directly.

Blockchain really can eliminate this model entirely by proposing a decentralised, everyone-monitors-everyone kind of setup.

Even as I said earlier, these giants will either try to oppose this huge shift in the eCommerce world or risk their  $22 trillion as of July 2016 being chipped away to blockchain enabled platforms such as the plug-and-play solution that Omnitude is offering....
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [TOKENSALE] Omnitude (eCommerce blockchain) on: April 07, 2018, 05:14:10 PM
The existing blockchain have problems with the speed of work. Will there be solutions in this area?

Omnitude acts as a middleware that plugs into existing platforms that eCommerce businesses are currently using. Hence, speed of deployment will be radically faster than a grassroots change into blockchain enabled platforms which other companies are purporting to roll out. It is essential that businesses understand the true value of middleware and hence the true value of blockchain to the eCommerce industry. This ensures that (1) accountability (2) security and (3) identity is preserved.

UNCTRAD states that the global e-commerce industry has grown to $22 trillion as of July 2016.... With China, US and Japan leading B2B and B2C sales, the impact blockchain would have on issues like:
- governance and enforceability of contracts
- issues of liquidity and voluntary administration in repaying debts and fulfilling contracts
will not only save immediate costs and collective time spent along the value chain, but legal, financial and consultancy costs that ultimately emanate from issues such as those

UNCTRAD states:

Quote
E-commerce includes both business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C), respectively valued at around $19.9 trillion and $2.2 trillion each, according to the new UNCTAD data. This trade is mostly domestic, but is becoming more and more international.

UNCTRAD is authoritative as it is formulated by international law through a convention signed by many leading nations on e-commerce. Hence, its statistics are accurate and really put together an idea for the investor as to the piece of the pie that Omnitude really has.

dApps are important to the blockchain world and even more so to the eCommerce world. Upon successful implementation of its 'middleware' software, Omnitude will play a significant role in standardising blockchain across eCommerce platfroms that already exist. This is a step in the right direction in blockchain-enabling the shopping world. Both businesses and individuals can benefit from the verification systems and smart contract systems that will exist across blockchain networks whether they be public (for customers) or private (for business-to-business networks).

However, there is one issue I would like to raise. How would private networks maintain accountability and authority over contract enforcement?

Though they are legally enforceable, identity is significant to have a court rule in favour or even to hear the case if a party wishes to not pay....

Any comments admin?

I like the way they have segregated there whitepaper into three different portions each for a business overview, solution overview, and token structure. This is something unique to loyakk, havent seen anything like that so far.

If you look at other icos, successful ones are averaging 10 folds returns, with Presale ventures, even if you miss out on their ico stage, their platform is like a money generating machine, they're hitting up early-stage startups so you're guaranteed a nice bonus, plus, these icos will double triple in value very easily, you cant go wrong . The huge question is - where there are exchanges out there tackling this big question, what does this token have which makes it different from all other exchanges ??

Apparently, the exchange intends to use the tokens as a sort of utility, instead of dumping the tokens afterwards.. Honestly, this is a great idea seeing how many useful ICOs don't think of this idea, and thus rendering their tokens useless.   Undecided

Useful ICOs will always have a market, presale.ventures will vet out these rubbish ICOs and only promote ones that it deems to be profitable and backed by a strong team and idea
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO][Pre-ICO][Bounty] Presale.Ventures - ICO Funding Platform on: March 24, 2018, 06:34:00 PM
The unique opportunity presented to start-up companies has been done before. However, what has not is the fact that Presale.Ventures will be doing and performing due diligence on each client. This ensures that not only is the ICO not a fraud and that it is worth the investment from each investor on their platform. Their tokens seem to be used for a similar purpose like that. It is intriguing...

How will I get the part of the profit? In fiat or crypto? Or in tokens of ico that you invest in?
Could you please explain, I’m new to crypto" Plus will there be a release of dividends later on? seeing as mentioned on the website, the tokens will not be severed ..

Just like Bitcoin is currency over blockchain, ethereum relationships over blockchain. Loyakk Vega will be business communication over the blockchain. this is something big and revolutionary

I have read all thress parts of Loyakk Vega platform - Business overview, solution overview and Tokenomics. I am giving it 10/10 and have enlisted myself for the ICO.

Loyakk already have partnership with Mphasis (a leading IT solutions provider specializing in cloud and cognitive services).

Mphasis will use the Loyakk Vega platform to provide blockchain-enabled digital solutions, Wealthchain and Chainsure, for the Banking, Financial Services and Insurance vertical.

Loyakk also receives Venture Capital investment from Ai8 Ventures. This is something very positive for loyakk
