hy mate
I want to confirm if this is really the coming back of Ethereum, for the past several months it wasn't easy but now I can see that the market is gradually changing from the bearish market to the bullish market. presently Eth is $223.84.
due to my past experience once it get's to $700 i will sell to regain my lost which i have lost all this while, do you think i should do so or hold on since is coming back gradually.
what do you think?
Be patient mate, the market will recover soon as this is just a normal correction after those crazy rally that we had last year. It's really bad market but we must accept it as we believe that this technology is our future currency. |

how can ETH, which was supposed to be a "stable" coin, drop a 85% since ATH? taking in mind it is also used by nearly 90% of ICOs nowadays.. how can drop that much the price? absolutely nonsense
Honestly it's not the end as we had still many investors that believe in this technology. I will just say that we had encountered a series of corrections that makes the crypto prices fall from what they have. Patience as this will bounce back that will give profits to those who believe in this technology. |

Aggregator sites like coinmarketcap and livecoinwatch often show trends of greatest gainers/losers of the day/week/month/year. However, coins with almost dead marketcaps are prone to manipulation.
Why don't these sites remove such coins?
I think they have rules in removing those weak coins, this site only feeding data base on the movement of market trends. It's the investors responsibility if they will follow or not. Besides all crypto has a tendency to manipulate just to gain profits. |

"Ethereum is great and very Innovative altcoin in crypto-space today and i'm very positive about the $2500 mark value in the last quarter of 2018 and its almost 5 months left and counting so we better buy and HODL now like I do, Ethereum will dominate the growth in coinmarket capitalization second only to bitcoin.
Well maybe we need to accept that this will not going to happen as we seen the ethereum had encountered a series if dumps and we don't know if this can recover quickly. Indeed it's unpredictable market and never expect too much. |

Big names in crypto predict that bitcoin will go $50k end of this year and they were 50% correct because anything can happen of crypto right? but for me, if bitcoin ETF will be approved I'm sure that ETF Will Push Bitcoin price to $50,000, let's wait 60 days starting today and go back to this thread in September or October and let's see  We are now in September and the price is still far from what you predicted and I don't think that this will rise to $50k with just few months left. Hitting to $12k will be achievable once bull run comes. |

I doubt whether Bitcoin will reach its all time high at the end of this year.
There are many hurdles this year and Bitcoin is still correcting itself.
Good amount of Price manipulation is also there. I do not want to speculate about the price, but this is what I think will happen this year
Yeah that's pretty true, the market seems not ready to make a price rally going up as many bad news we have in this year. Let's just be patient to wait until the 1st quarter of next year to see if the market can recover that time. |

My curiosity is how the whales are playing between each other and how analysts see these behaviour and how they find it
This technology has full of mystery as this is unpredictable with matching manipulation of market prices. Although manipulation is normal in any business investment as those who have huge money can take advantage on his power. |

What you thinking in this market can bitcoin back to high price or now is stable price 6000-7000 and in this year no hope that go up and nothing positive news to go gainer?
More specifically, Gordon’s cryptocurrency prediction is that Bitcoin will first drop below $5,000 only to rebound and reach $10,000 by the end of this year. Gordon argues that the main reason for this shifting price trend is the ”significant market volatility” in cryptocurrencies and Bitcoin.
It's just a speculation can bring us to $20k by year end as in reality it's difficult to make it happen. The market seems not good enough to make a rally and I'm happy to see the price of bitcoin at $12k by year end if we can have a good news that will swing the market back to life. |

Why bitcoin price keeps going down these days? Is it just the ETF rejection of Vinklevoss twins?
I think the market for this year is not good enough to rise the price of bitcoin to as high as $10k before the year end as those investors are selling their coins for short profits and no sign of good news that can ignite the market to a bullish. |

If and when cryptocurrency and/or bitcoin becomes the official currency of the world, do you think there will be a downside to it? If so, what do you think the negative effect will be once cryptocurrency becomes a worldwide currency?
Sorry it seems not possible for any crypto to be official currency of the whole world as we know that not all countries has supports on crypto. Different country has different economy it's difficult to balance the economic growth for the whole world that reflects our cultures. |

I have been holding some amount of ethereum since its peak of about $1,400 late last year till date. I accept the fact that holding for that long period of time was not a rational investment decision considering the fundamental issues surrounding my investment plan. My decision would have been rational only if I sell half of my investment in ethereum at the time its value appreciate to around $1,400. Now ethereum market value is below $200 as at the time of this post. Fellow crypto ethusians, will ethereum value ever return to the peak of $1,400?
You're not alone with that situation as we don't predict the crypto market. I like to be optimistic with this situation that the market will bounce back soon. The timeframe will takes longer but we should don't loss hope that this will return to the top price soon. |

I strongly suspect that if miners start to abandon ETH then the developers will patch in incentives to mine. This coin is too much of the backbone for the future of crypto for it to be allowed to die easily.
It's not the end. This is just a normal correction and we just surprised the way it fall drastically the price of ethereum. I expect that a strong buy back will happen in the few days to balance the market situation against the miners profits. |

So I got an extra $300 to invest in Crypto. I already have over $100 sitting in Bitcoin so I was thinking put the rest in an altcoin or two. What do you think the best altcoin to invest in right now is? Only catch to this question is the crypto must be usable at overstock.com in case I want to spend some.
With the current price of ethereum is at below $200 then I think you should go and invest your $300 to ETH. This is a good opportunity for you to buy ethereum at that lower price as we all know that this is the second top coins we have and it's a good choice. |

a few days ago ethereum experienced a drastic decline. and it turns out it's currently under $ 200! My personal predictions are wrong, and may not be true. what's the next step?  I think vacationing is a good idea while enjoying a vacation !! Lol it's unpredictable market... Nobody knows where this going. Although in the other side, this is the best time to buy ethereum while in lower price and take a vacation. This can recover soon and I still believe in this currency to become huge in the future. |

It's unpredictable market and ethereum has surprised us with a reverse effect. This will give us disappoinment and loss our confidence in trusting ethereum. Although it's the effect that someone had decided to sell his eth and take out his money. It will take enough time to absorb the demand today before it rise again.
