Will ethereum value ever return to $1,400?

I have been holding some amount of ethereum since its peak of about  $1,400 late last year till date. I accept the fact that holding for that long period of time was not a rational investment decision considering the fundamental issues surrounding my investment plan. My decision would have been rational only if I sell half of my investment in ethereum at the time its value appreciate to around  $1,400. Now ethereum market value is below  $200 as at the time of this post. Fellow crypto ethusians, will ethereum value ever return to the peak of  $1,400?

I too missed the chance of cashing it when the price was around $1400, missing opportunities were very bad with cryptocurrency. We don't know when this happens again. From my understanding it is possible to experience the value of $1400 or even higher to it. But, with the ongoing market situation it is possible but there is no time prediction.

I have remembered, the co-founder of Reddit predicted that ETH price will go for 1500 USD in this year. Still, his prediction is wrong but don't know what will happen in future, we have still four months left. But, I think, it's no. Eth can't go back to 1400 USD in this year and I am very doubtful that it won't go in next year too.

Even though many people are doubting this coin now, I still believe that its possible to hit that price again. We will continue to grow no matter what, this make took years or whatsoever but surely ETH will make a new ATH. Bull market will come and maybe that’s the best time for ETH to bounce back.

If your plan is a long–term investment (1–5 years), then yes, Ethereum will reach $1,400 again, just like Bitcoin reached and broke the $1,242 ATH it made in 2013 (took it almost three and a half years)—records are made to be broken. I hope so and U strongly believe that ethereum price will go back to its higher price before and every one who hold will benefit it in a right time. Just have more patience because it is the only way to earn prifit and not to lose our investment.

etherum conditions are currently bleeding and are in poor condition. this is evident from the current etherum price rates. I was quite surprised to see that etherum prices were at a rate of 200USD. conditions like this have made a tremendous panic for the market and even prices could be much lower. but the sense of optimism still exists because I believe that etherum can do it, there will be many wonders and also when we increasingly support the use of etherum the price will gradually recover.

Man I think it will be back to highs once the bitcoin price goes back up and the next bull run comes.

to return to $ 1400 may take a long time, but can be optimistic if doing long-term savings is not good because the decline or increase in prices can occur at any time. so I think the increase is unpredictable.

I agree, but this is cryptocurrencies which it has the ability to return as quickly as possible. There's a lot of factors that may affect the price but one thing for sure, it will definitely be will increase as the years goes by.

they need to solve there scailing issue, lots of people losing faith which is killing the price under 200 now ick, if they can figure it out it will come back but not looking good at the moment.

We must be optimistic that the final moment of last year will surely be repeated again, I am still relaxed to face the reality at this time I also have some ethereum and I will keep it until the price actually returns to normal or at least no loss when removing it.

It will be quite difficult for eth to return to its peak price, if the market continue like this then the chances are very slim, and you will need to wait for a very long time, eth condition is a bit worse than BTC, BTC already show sign of recovery, but eth showing that it would go down deeper

I think it is very difficult to get back to that value. That is when the market was topped and the bubble burst. Like the internet, it takes a long time to grow and recover. Although the price has gone down too low, I still believe in its recovery because Blockchain is a great technology.

Yes market is very volatile so just hodl your horses. It make take a long tome to reach its peak again but let us see how far it can go late 2018. I am assuming when ETF will be approved and many investors will flock again.

Yes market is very volatile so just hodl your horses. It make take a long tome to reach its peak again but let us see how far it can go late 2018. I am assuming when ETF will be approved and many investors will flock again.

and among others, only ETH cannot survive to reach the lowest point of up to 100 $ or ... but I hope you are more patient to maintain your ETH because ETH takes a long time to go to the wild horse market
