Multipool launched!!I'm happy to announce, that http://hashco.ws has now launched its 'Get Paid in MintCoin' option to the pool. Sign Up, and head on over to 'Account Settings' where you'll see the option of changing from the standard BTC payout option to MINT. Our pool also has the unique option of being able to keep other altcoins we mine as well, should you so choose. We welcome all the members of the mint community who wish to give us a shot. Please feel free to join us on irc. Freenode / #hashcows Its in a bit of a beta these first few days, as we work out any kinks with the mint payouts specifically, however the pool itself has been operational for more than 6 months now. MINT payouts will happen between 03:30 - 04:00 GMT daily. For the time being, there is no additional fee for being paid out in MINT vs. BTC Happy Mining

There is plenty of support, just read the last few pages. The community just doesn't want to pay the bill because we have already paid for one. We don't think it's unreasonable for a development team holding 700 million coins to pay for a high functioning multipool.
And allso, people dont want to pay to a random guy like me and i understand that. I dont really know how to do this to make it feel safe... All i can say is i really want this multipool, my intentions are good and i dont try to scam anyone. But on the other hand, i cant give any guarantees that hashcows really set this up. But if that would be the case i want to pay back all donations. What exactly does hashcow want? How much bounty? Are they already working on it? This is what he said and i replied i will try and raise a bounty. "Its an interesting idea. I saw some doing it with blackcoin recently. I'd be willing to give it a shot, if you believe you can gather interest in your community and perhaps a bounty could be had. I've got a lot on my plate atm, but am willing to dedicate some time if it makes sense"

if this will happen success is inevitable, just look at black coin, multipool is the future for non-minable coins
no it isn't Explain why not? Those miners who missed the initial PoW distribution gets another chance and the community can support the coin by increasing buy pressure First of all, this coin doesn't exist so miners get a chance to pump and dump it. The reason for PoS is to get rid of mining, which is a wasteful and useless activity. And if this "buy pressure" is being generated by autoselling mined coins and then autobuying mint, it is just going to create a low ball buy wall and help drop the price. What we want to do is to relieve selling pressure. You do this by not not selling your coins and holding them instead of selling them for a minor profit and waiting for the price to drop so you can buy back in and do it over and over again. That only increases volatility until the coin is useless as a currency. This is why alts die. They are too volatile to be used safely as currency. We need to make this coin rarer and harder to get if we want the price to rise. The future of MINT or any PoS coin is in becoming a utilitarian and useful currency. No one would mine mincoins to then dump them because that makes no sense. Those mining would hold. And since mining them wont generate any more coins it will stay as rare as it is without mining.
