can cgminer be also used for http://mintpool.us/mint/index.php or is sgminer better in any way? The pool is down for a couple of weeks. At least thats what they say on twitter Ya, I saw that too. There is no official Mintcoin multi-pool though, anyone can start one. It would be nice if someone else got another up and running soon something more powerful than last one would be good. I dont understand how it took one day to start but needs a couple weeks downtime now It was a multipool for doge allready then they added mint but it all was kind of a beta-test |

No it does not reset the age of your coins. It is not in the wallet, its in the blockchain |

did the mint multipool just shit the bed or is it just me? basically just getting difficulty changed to xyz, stratum disconnected, difficulty changed to 512, etc etc over and over. This just started happening a few minutes ago.

They have no merchant listed, only a few games and they have less of everything lol.

I don't understand... If the coins are constantly traded at the exchanges doesn't coinage reset?
How big part of the coins there can possible be unmoved for 20+ days?
Or are they unmoved even if they are traded?
I bet they are unmoved and since each movement would incur a transaction fee and the exchange would want to make the most profit that it can so why move any coins when you can just update numbers in a table of the database. Then when you withdraw those coins are moved. Yes of course, thats the way it works! I'm sorry, i didn't think... im stoopid... or tired... Only have 100k there but i move them to my wallet asap |
