Do you even think about scrypt jane and N factor for this great coin? Scrypt with those Asic out there gonna make this coin like scam coin. Please think about it devs.

Agreed. Why wait when it's certain that scrypt asics are coming? We all want this coin the be a long term investment so lets start by making it future-proof. Besides that; fairly launched, multipool- and asic resistant coins are very attractive in this market right now and einsteinium could be just that, backed by a great concept. Strive to be the best.

Hehe we are discussing this internally aswell as there are other thoughts to be aware off (diff calc, epoch timing, loss of miners because they dont like scrypt-n ... ). its considered internally .. we arent blind! :-) Another question: We would love to tweak our FAQ Page a bit with questions "non-crypto-related" people might could have. Heres as little task for every communitymember: Write questions which arent answered yet and the answer for it like Q: Why is the banana curved? A: The fruit itself is heading into the direction of the sun - as its growing upside down and as a forb it has to curve to get the most of the available sunlight. (i hope this is the correct answer here ). Please quote each Q and A thingie so that we are able to add one by one to the website. Thanks!!

Q: How does salt melt ice? A: Salt lowers the freezing point of water. Try measuring the temperature of ice and a little bit of water before and after salt is added. The temperature drops and the ice melts!

@ derbrause
So we meet again. I am interested in good coins. This sounds good so far. Useful hashing. Little bit worried about scrypt coins at the moment though.
Thanks for the recommendation. Will read the thread.

Think a little, and answered my own question - better buy more Emc2 for this money In long term it suppose to be good with a crazyness difficulty, but that only speculation and the cryptoworld are young! In short/med term they can dump this hard as fuck for the guys have with his cluster of 100MH(or more for rich bitcoiner) hashpower...

It seems to me that "Ring" project not something that need to be financed. because it is slightly contradicts with EF statement "We are thinking less, and investing less, in the ‘big ideas’ and focusing on the next minor improvement to our mobile phone or television. It’s time to think big and start spending again on science." I will vote for "The Power Of Ocean Waves", that big and interesting project. I've been following and buying Einsteinium from the start. I have a science background so thought this idea was likely to gain a great community following (which it has). When I saw the ring project I thought it would be good for people with limited mobility. I was thinking in terms of stroke sufferers who will live long term but can't move an arm properly, or people like Steven Hawking who can only move one finger. When I was thinking about this it was because I had a limp that no one could explain and that started a few months ago and getting around my apartment was starting to get cumbersome. Last week, after several misleading diagnosis from clinics, a research hospital finally diagnosed a golf ball sized sized (2 inch) meningioma brain tumour on my motor cortex. They think it is operable and won't spread and so prognosis for survival is very good (90%+). However I will require at least three weeks in hospital, a 10 ~ 18 hour operation, and possibly months off work with income loss. And, although I'm only 41 years old, the brain surgery on my motor cortex is likely to leave me with a permanent movement impairment on the right side of my body, including my right arm. But I consider myself lucky to have got a proper diagnosis finally and that my chance of survival is good, so I am optimistic and happy to look on the bright side. So when I awoke this morning I was thinking about positive ways I can make my impaired movement life better and so was reminded of the ring idea, however I can't find any information about it any more in this thread or reddit. However I agree with you that maybe this kind of thing is not the type of thing you want to fund by Einsteinium. But not all electronic advancements are about tweeking cell phones or clearer TV's.
