If you're such a magnificent trader then why do you need anyone else's money? haha. Why make others rich for free? I just guess you're a nice guy, right?

Excellent application you have created for trading!

I love the rules you can set. This is amazing.

If you ever decide to come out with a premium edition with more features please let us know!

I simply love this tool already. You can setup a rule so when bitcoins are sent to a certain address they are automatically converted to fiat just in case you are trading or making some purchase this way you can hedge against volatility. Very nice!

I'd love to see this being able to be used on Chromebook. I've tried setting up Ubuntu on my Chromebook but it's not really "true" and it's buggy at best. I'm going to have a dedicated laptop / machine running this application along with various other charts for our trading.

qHoster is a great hosting company. I recommend them 101%. Quick helpful support with any issue you might have! Also accepts Bitcoin, Litecoin and a TON of other payment options.

Happy your issue was resolved.
66  Economy / Services / Re: [WTR?] Scrypt Hashing rigs.. on: December 21, 2013, 10:42:59 PM
I would be interested in something, but I'd need special accommodations as far as payment goes. I've just started getting into cryptos and I have no initial capital to invest in buying currency, so I'm stuck mining from the start. Because of this, I need my "landlord" to tax my earnings as payment, instead of getting paid up front. I personally feel this system of payment would be alot more lucrative for you. If you can offer me a rig that can bring me 0.1btc/day, why not tax me %10 of that per day.
It seems to me that most of the people who want to play in the crypto market are people that Wall St is leaving behind. There's a few people that have struck it rich over the past few years, and a few people that brought in tons of actual dollars, but I'm willing to bet from now on, the large majority of miners is going to be people that are actually relying on crypto's to help pay bills, and special payment procedures must be made for them, or they'll disappear altogether from trading cryptos and the entire market will be just for the big boys, much the same way that Wall St did.

Idk, just thinking out loud. Probably a big hole somewhere I'm missing.

Yeah because he could mine the coins himself =/

Tbh you should've kept this oprn. You would've gotten a much better logo...

This is what I wanted and what I had pictured. Hard to get better than what I wanted.
68  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Amagi Metals - Best Prices of Gold, Silver, & Platinum for Bitcoins on: December 20, 2013, 04:49:45 AM
So many scammers in BTC land.  What's one to do.    Sad

They might have made an accident, shit happens. At least they are looking into it, and I trust they will in the end do the right thing.

Thank you very much Chaang for letting this situation be public.

I personally will be watching the resolution of this, I was contemplating an order and after I read this I decided to wait. If this is resolved professionally in a quick manner then I will go ahead with my order. You've done the community a great service by letting the public know things may be going wrong and also by giving AmagiMetals a chance to prove themselves and show their honesty.

Hehe, yes shit does happen. I would hate to be the person putting those gold coins into the boxes.
69  Economy / Services / Re: [BOUNTY] A professional logo! on: December 20, 2013, 04:13:31 AM
Thanks. Trust me, I've realized after offering $1,500 for so called "teams" of developers that sent me pre-written copy/paste messages that I was in for trouble. I would rather buy some true professional's time for at least a week (I figure a real professional makes about 1,500 to 3,000 a week?) to make this and do it right for me. Problem is there are a lot of good developers and designers out there but they don't know about Bitcoin and how wallets work. Then you have the group that do know how wallets work, can get them working, but then they can't design and develop the site.

PS: I updated the original post so you can see the current (and only so far) logo that has been entered.
70  Economy / Services / Re: [BOUNTY] A professional logo! on: December 20, 2013, 04:02:45 AM
Yes. I'm really not that "picky" of a person.

Although a very avid fellow has been emailing me throughout the day since he wasn't able to post in this forum section yet (new user) and has been working with my suggestions.

I believe I will be closing this very soon because he is near close to a finished product. I'll post his final product here once he has tweaked it but I do believe that I will end this bounty in a few hours. It seems like he has been the only person to even submit anything and come in contact with me. I'm really surprised by the lack of entries or anyone trying. I just figured I'd do the bounty format because I seen a lot of people doing it in the thread and everyone seemed to enjoy it, win or lose.

Anyways I'll post his final design of the logo here (since he can't post it) and leave it up for a few hours and see if anyone had anything better or could match it terms of quality and design.

(PS: Still looking for a web developer. Need one that has experience with implementing and running Bitcoin wallets. This is a -*MUST*-. Budget is $1,500 to $3,000. If you're some kind of God at creating websites and have plenty of proof and feedback then maybe we can talk about paying out a little bit more. In all honesty I think this is a fair rate because I could create it myself but considering I don't have much knowledge on running a web wallet I choose not to.)

Yeah, I don't care to escrow the bounty at all but that is rather cumbersome and troublesome. It's only $100. =/

Refer to our feedback: https://localbitcoins.com/accounts/profile/BitcoinTristate/

There is no deadline. It ends when I have found a logo that I wish to use.
73  Economy / Services / [BOUNTY] A professional logo! -- COMPLETED! on: December 19, 2013, 07:41:51 PM
Needing a professional logo created. I'm looking at spending $100 paid in Bitcoin.

I would like the original .psd file as well once I declare which Logo is the winner. I also will expect the original .psd file to be in high resolution and a decent size.

The logo would be for a site named: X4BTC

We are a group of pro traders that exchange Bitcoin <---> USD. We're looking at making our own personal website outside of LBC. We conduct a majority of our business on LBC but we believe it's necessary to start branding our own image and become independent from another business.

Looking for something that is somewhat sleek, clever, and contains the text X4BTC in it somewhere. We will be creating the website's theme around this logo.

(Also looking for a website developer / coder for creating somethings on our site as well)

I'm wanting to give everyone a chance here. I'm wanting a professional logo though, not something junky. I'm running a bounty because I'm wanting to see what everyone has to offer.

** DETAILS ABOUT THIS BOUNTY *************************************************************************
-- I will only be choosing ONE WINNER
-- Realize that this is a BOUNTY. You could possibly spend a lot of time working and end up not getting paid if you're not chosen.
-- I will be giving input and advice and asking some people to change their concept or add and subtract this, etc.
-- This bounty will run until I decide and have selected the logo I wish to use

-- UPDATE #1 --
I will upload a sketch tonight to give everyone a good idea of what I'm looking for and some ideas after I'm done trading today. I've had a couple submissions that users couldn't post here because they are still stuck in the newbie section of the forum.

Hopefully this wasn't be so vague after some submissions come in and I update the ideas and sketches that I have.

Thanks guys.

-- UPDATE #2 --
Seems like Martin (a new user who contacted me via email) is the winner so far. He's the actual only participant. He has listened to my suggestions and pretty much narrowed it down to what I was looking for. There is a few final changes for him to make but I do believe if no one else enters then he has won this bounty.

At least everyone here has his ID and all the information they need about him. That's a great asset to have any time you are doing business such as this. I believe everything will be resolved for everyone in the end through Joe eventually forfeiting the assets or the law seizing them.

I'm just sad to hear that all this bad-ass Litecoin mining gear has simply went to waste when it was paying out at it's prime!! That's a damn shame.

Hope everything ends well for you guys.

Can we see pictures of the actual design prototype?

I'm very, very interested in this. Would look nice on my wall while I'm trading.

As stated in the first post our hardware engineer is currently working on it. The prototype is almost finished but the proprietary software is done. Physical pictures will be posted when we have our prototype. The pictures in the original post accurately represent what it will look like.

We are sorry - but can't wait to show pictures and let you pre-order!

How much is shipping? I'll order one once the prototype images are shown displaying the actual product itself. Does it take batteries?

Can you answer these questions that other potential users may ask?

Couldn't a user just print an offline paper wallet from a non-internet connected PC and then send the Bitcoins to the public address while storing the paper wallet in their own safe.

How is your company making a profit?

How does your business model pay for the call center, support, and gun safes?

Are you going to make all your personal information publicly available?
-- Are you going to make the information of anyone handling our funds or near them publicly available?

Are we going to know at least the proximity of where you are storing our funds?

Can you implement 24/7 Webcam access to the vaults or gun safes?

Why should we trust you more than ourselves?

Are you insuring any funds that are deposited at your site?

If so, can you give us a list of assets that you currently own and proof that you can insure all customer's deposits?

What's the real benefit of you allowing a private key to be supplied?
-- Isn't this just another possible way for a hijacker to gain access to the funds when you are transmitting or sending the Private Key?
-- Why would we need the private key if we could just withdraw all the funds from the address or request a withdraw?

What types of safes are these 'gun safes' ?
-- How many hours do they last in a fire?
-- Are they waterproof / sealed from water?

How does the whole exact process work in which you store the funds? Explain in detail please.

What happens if you died or were in a car accident or something?
-- Is someone else going to step up and take over?
-- Can we have their details too?

Thanks. I believe these are all serious questions that need to be answered.

78  Economy / Services / Re: [WANTED] Need a website created with certain features on: December 18, 2013, 04:00:22 AM
We're not looking to accept multiple payment methods in the way that you are thinking. The way that we would accept any payment method besides Bitcoin will all be manual.

Bitcoin would be the only payment that would be automatically accepted and deposited into your account. All other payment methods would lead to an option where you would be given the instructions on how to perform the payment. After you have completed the payment you then return and fill out the details of the completed payment you just made. If you sent a Western Union for example you would then complete a form with the MTCN, Sender's Name, City, Full Amount, ETC. Then we would then receive that information through email, sms, or whatever system is in place to push that information. We would have people standing by ready to collect those payments and after they are collected we would then manually credit that amount to their balance on the account.

In all honesty I truly believe and feel like I could create the website and feel good about everything besides the automatic Bitcoin deposits / withdraws. Just like you said, I want to make sure that other people's money is safe and secure. Although I do know and believe that 90% of supposed "hacks" are merely the owners taking off with the money, that's fact. The "virtual" amounts which would be the USD would be backed physically with fiat that we received through their original payment.

We have a business in place that we currently already do all of this. We are just wanting to automate our business and take away our dependency on another business to run ours (Localbitcoins). We enjoy and applaud Localbitcoins service but we are starting to grow a very steady regular base of customers and certain disputes and staff support time is just not meeting the demand we are beginning to have. If anything is to happen to Localbitcoins then our business is at risk as well. We believe the only forward step for us to keep up with our demand and scale would be to create our own establishment where users can perform the same things they've been doing, but just on our turf. I would estimate that 75% of our customer base are newcomers as well, which we work with them as much as we can. We want our site to be even more simplified and a streamline process for them obtaining Bitcoin. Through constant talks and daily trades we've realized that a lot of the reasons that certain users waited so long to get into Bitcoin or yet haven't is simply because the process of acquiring one. By creating a more "straight-forward" less demanding process then I believe we could bring even more users into bitcoin.

With me thinking in my simplest terms this is what I come up with for the website. I'm not a designer, coder, or any type of website engineer by no means either. I just imagine an online bitcoin wallet with user accounts that separates their balances. This could be done by multiple wallets for each user or just one single wallet for everyone. I'm not sure how to go about this one and I don't feel safe at all designing the idea behind the Bitcoin process and wallet. The other payment methods that come to mind are very simple though. The user wants to pay with MoneyGram? Okay. They click the MoneyGram deposit button and then they are presented with the details. They then go make the payment, come back, and click MoneyGram Deposit and click Payment Made button or something. Then they're presented with a form for them to enter all those details. We get that info and pick up the payment, or check if it's good (Cash deposit for example) then manually credit them. So in my eyes I just see all other payment methods besides Bitcoin as just simple Contact Forms that customers fill out.

If somehow we were to scale to massive size then I can imagine it would be beneficial to make the process a little more automatic for other payment methods besides Bitcoin but it would be way down the road. Right now we have 3 team members on board that constantly accept and pick up Western Union's and MoneyGram's all day long. As soon as they confirm with me they have successfully acquired the payments that is when we release / send their coins. The only change that would be made is that once they send the details through and we acquire the payment we just update their balance. This process so far has seemed to be the most risk free for our part and has happened to work out quite well.

We are looking for a quality developer though that can implement this. The price is definitely negotiable as I said before. We would much rather pay more and have someone we know is qualified with a proven track record. I don't want to go as far and say that Money is not an option but I will say that we are willing to pay whatever the developer is worth.

PS: I think I will be cancelling this Freelancer ad. Every bid has been pathetic. I've interviewed each applicant and they have nothing to show. I feel like I could do 2x a better job than any of them and that isn't even saying much. I'm half tempted to do it myself after all of this discouragement with finding someone capable. The only reason that I haven't is because it would take quite a bit of time for me to do it. The time it would take for me to build this website it would be cheaper for me to just pay someone else to do it because I would lose money by spending all my time building it rather than doing my job. The main concern with me doing it is that I've never created or ran an online web wallet. I could probably fiddle around and get it working but definitely not something that I'm confident in enough to put other user's money at risk. Anyone else's money or property should be treated with utmost care and 10x more than my own. I personally myself am very reluctant to keep ANY amount in ANY web wallet unless I have to. I know that I wouldn't keep money in some wallet that I create, so that definitely says to me I shouldn't make or try and make something to hold someone else's. Hehe =)

bahtcoin.com does something like you are suggesting.

Hehe, Bahtcoin.com is really skimmed down. I was thinking that I really, really like the layout that QuickyCoin.com has. I can imagine something like this. A Simple one page where you see a logo of all the deposit / cashout methods for the site. You would also be presented with the Create Account or Access Account buttons. Once logged in you could then either "Deposit" or "Withdraw". You click Deposit and then you're given the options of Deposit - Bitcoin, MoneyGram, Western Union, MoneyPak, Cash Deposit, etc. You click "Withdraw" then you are given the same options but this time you are withdrawing. As soon as you initiate a withdraw for say MoneyGram you then will be alerted by SMS or Email once it is complete. The key function of our business is going to be QUICK TRADES. That is why we have a steady customer base now. You will be shown the withdraw / deposit options but also the "estimated time" each transaction will take. People are just damn tired of slow transactions when trying to get Bitcoin. It's awesome you can make Bitcoin transactions and send them anywhere in the world within seconds, but it blows that it takes 3-4 days with a Bank Wire to even get money to an exchange to buy a Bitcoin. We want to make it easier and faster to get Bitcoins, which we already do just through another business (LBC). So say it's Sunday evening.. the Cash Deposit option would say that the transaction is estimated to be completed upon Monday Morning @ 9:15 AM. Now if you look at the MoneyPak option it says: 5 Minutes. So if you went and bought a MoneyPak and entered the codes we could process it within 5 minutes and have your balance on there. We could even offer "guarantees" on our deposit / withdraw times. If we miss our estimated time then we credit your deposit or withdraw say +2% or something. This way we offer quick deposit or withdraws for our customer so they win, and if we miss our projected times then they still win. We of course would have to add a few rules to this but you get the idea.

So there you go, for any potential developers out there. That is the whole idea. I've put it all out there pretty good in this thread thanks to empoweoqwj's responses. If you think you are capable of performing what I'm asking then just send me a PM. I'm willing to pay for quality. Please send me your bids and your estimated time-frame that it would take you to build this. I want to draw up an agreement as well for all of this and we can use any escrow service that is reputable. I'm under the impression that John K is the man around these neck of the woods so I would assume he would be a good choice. With the way that the volatility has been in the market then I suggest we deal in terms of cash. I can mail Cash, MoneyPak, Western Union, MoneyGram or whatever to our escrow agent if you wished. If you needed any installments or wished for payments throughout the process (if it is a long process) then we can negotiate on that as well.

Thanks again for anyone taking the time to read this entire thread and understand the needs of the project. I think if you read through this entire thread then you can get a firm grasp on the project and what I wish to be created.

We will do everything we can to make it completely and utterly safe but we aren't going to promote that web wallet's are the safest, etc like others have done in the past (you know who). The idea for the wallet is just simply so users can hedge their investment against falling prices. I myself have freaked out a time or two and cashed out real quick only to realize that I wish I didn't. Some users may also want to hold less Bitcoin and move it into fiat but not necessarily want to cash out their fiat right away. Although the main reason for the wallet is just so beginning users can have a good solid "stable" wallet. Unfortunately most users "run" before they can "crawl". We have so many people come in and purchase $100 dollars worth of Bitcoin then after they do they ask us "Now what?". We encourage people to get into Bitcoin and some are just so eager. Also on a 2nd note it is entirely possible to "skip" our whole online wallet altogether if a user wishes to. We could just immediately convert their payment into Bitcoins and send to whichever address they like. We would leave that up to the user. We just see that by creating an online wallet that it would benefit some of our customers, so that's why we have the idea for it, as well as holding a fiat balance.

Just to clear up a few questions about your service your offering can you answer the following questions:

Why should we use your service over Blockchain.info's shared send?
-- Blockchain.info Shared Send is only 0.05% fee
-- All their payments are automatic rather than manual
-- They have a huge pool, thus allowing for consistent fast mixes. How big is your pool?

What kind of security features are in place?

How are you guaranteeing the coins are mixed?

What are your past credentials with other websites or ventures?

Can you give an estimation on how long the "the mixing process" takes?

Do you keep logs?
