Is my price too low?

Or, will an average miner mine less than this, or more than this?

No offence intended at all. I am curious about this Smiley

Are you serious? Who would mine 1 month continuously for 50$??? Makes no sense. Power bill will be much higher than that.

Reasonable offer at current diff is 0.2btc/mil. No less.
1582  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [WTB] $100 worth of lottocoin on: December 16, 2013, 04:00:00 AM
Not going to happen. They are worth much more than that.

This coin seems to only be cool if you are a miner. That is the only way to win the Lotto.

That would be cool if you could somehow win more lotto coins just by having the coins.

What good is it to even buy lotto coins if you can't win anything by holding them, only the miners have fun with them.

You cant win anything with Doge either

Are the stats for this coin correct in terms of difficulty?
I mined this coin for a few hours 2 days ago. Difficulty was .4 i think. Now i know there was a X2 reward in place but i pulled in 1.5 million of these suckers in absolutely no time, but now it just seems insanely slow with almost every block miles over target. Doesnt seem to matter which pool i try just not really getting much :/

Be happy, you will be rewarded for that 1.5M really soon. Yes, it's now exponentially harder to mine. You will need a pool.
1585  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] LOTTO COIN - The coin thats a game! Released 12/12/13 on: December 15, 2013, 10:58:31 PM
i dont really understand the basic concept of these bomb games. I mean who would buy that 4m bomb? there are not that many ppl who even have those coins. Why would i buy that with a big risk of losing it all? someone please explain. Also, why would i buy that 1m bomb?

What you need to understand is that people will always be interested in the pursuit of bigger Return on investment (ROI). This game offers a very easy way for you to get a very nice profit by doing absolutely nothing at all.

I will agree, I though many people were owners of 10M+ coins, but it looks like they are hiding themselves. I told the forum earlier on that I would buy that first bomb @4M. However, I will only be doing so in the next few days. Coinbomb definitely needs more exposure first. Delaying the purchase will give me more time to sell it.

As you may have noticed, the higher the price, the longer it takes for someone to buy the bomb. The higher the price, the lower the demand, the more risk you have of losing your money. I would say, if you currently own 4M and would like to buy the first bomb, wait a little bit for things to correct.

LOT4 definitely could do a lot more. First 3 lots are averaging 3M, while the 4th lot is only 1M. At 20% offset, this bomb can still go through 6 rounds before reaching 3M (exact calculation: 3,048,277). Without a doubt it will go through at least two more rounds (really easy way to make 20%. if you buy now, 200k), although I think it will rapidly increase in price in the near future, much more than 2.5m.

What about contacting the coinedup exchange and ask if one of the destination addresses are on their exchange - and block it?

If (s)he can't sell it the dogecoins won't be much fun... Cheesy

Could transfer doge to another wallet. That won't work
1587  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [WTT] LottoCoin for Dogecoins on: December 15, 2013, 08:31:56 PM
Selling unlimited lottos for doge. 10k lot for 8k doge.
Lot are harder to mine, reward block between 1 and 60k, while doge is up to 1000k
PM if interested

1589  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: can we get LOT on an exchange? on: December 15, 2013, 08:02:13 PM
Bump. We need a forum + exchange
1590  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LOT / BTC Google Docs Exchange on: December 15, 2013, 07:41:33 PM
Shouldnt the prices be higher after the reward correction?

Coinbomb prices are climbing! coinbomb.biz/lottocoin
Still two lots under 2M. Those will be bought fast, I think.

To OP, any plan for it to make its way on an exchange? With halved revenue since block 8800ish, there should be a significant price bump. LOT to the moon...

It's really more up to us than the author. We need lots of people to be asking cryptsy/coinex/whoever about adding the coin in order to make them think there's a market for it.

Should we all be sending tickets to cryptsy about LOT adoption? If so lets get this going. At current rate i believe it could easily be worth 0.3/mil in the next few days

RE: Coinbomb

It's not a scam eh? The whole thing depends on eventually some poor sap dumping millions of coins into a prize he won't be able to collect, so the guys before him can continue to get paid.

Quote from: Wikipeida
A Ponzi scheme is a fraudulent investment operation that pays returns to its investors from existing capital or new capital paid by new investors, rather than from profit earned by the individual or organization running the operation. Operators of Ponzi schemes usually entice new investors by offering higher returns than other investments, in the form of short-term returns that are either abnormally high or unusually consistent. The perpetuation of the high returns requires an ever-increasing flow of money from new investors to sustain the scheme.

Maybe it's not a scam, but it is a scheme, even if it's upfront about it. I know how it ends, and thank you, but I don't think anyone should play this particular "game" that requires you to try to screw someone to keep from getting screwed.  Roll Eyes

You know, in the end, the operator is the biggest benefactor. When the "investments" finally fail to pay out, he collects the largest win possible.

How is it different fron lottery? As with lottery, the owner will be the winner at the end.. So that should be out of the question. Standard procedure for those schemes.

Wouldn't classify it as a scam though, as there is no deception involved. The rules are very clear and you are the one who decides whether or not to play by these rules. The end result is exactly as described by those rules. Maybe similar to ponzi scheme, but still legit.

As to screw up someone else, well, if they pay, they made the decisipn based on the assumption that it could pay off. They wouldnt pay if there was no chance to win.

Hope this helps. If this is fraudulent, lotto also is, but legally the player is responsible as the rules are clear.

@nosf009 Of course there is a reason. If you pay, you get the chance to make xx% off your investment. That is enough of a reason to play. Great ROI. The player who picks up thinks he could still make xx% before the price gets unreasonably high, and then it dies.
Again, as with lotto, you play and pay because YOU think there is a chance to win. Not necessarily someone dumber (that could be the case,) but someone who thinks based on probabilistic values (ask vs offer vs market price) that it could pay off.

Gosh, well, you have to take my word for it. But I can provide several good reasons to convince you.

My current assumption is that since LOT is quite new, LOT will grow in popularity and people will eventually mine enough LOT to keep the bomb rolling.
Therefore there is no reason for the current price to be the final price of the bomb, as that would certainly be absurd.

I, myself, currently own 7M LOT. However I'm running solo + on a pool with a very poor rig. I'm making about ~2.5M/day on current diff.
As said, take my word for it, I will invest in the bomb until it reaches 10M, and I assume someone will buy it from me at that point.

But I don't think it will stop @ 2M. I simply need it to move higher. More $$ for myself Wink

Someone reserved your lot

PS: If I had the coins I would buy it

Yeah I decided to go ahead and take a chance.

Didn't expect that to happen this soon

I know internet isn't a way to get trusted very well, but mark my words. I hope I don't come off as a scammer.
I simply need it to get rolling, maybe not today, but just promoting it for people to attempt.
