I can't believe you guys take words at face value. It's obvious I'm not part of this community and would never wish to, but to offer mr. iikun (who seems to value the sense of community) some insight as an outsider is rather awkward. I therefore had to 'fake' my affiliation with this shit community.
edit: @jdebunt answer is NO, Lot doesn't need more ideas. It needs to move backward and solve all its structural problems which have been restated countless times over the past 100 pages.

If you want to be taken seriously you need to learn how to offer constructive criticism. Coming in here with a low activity count, boasting of "25 years experience blah blah" and then asking for a payment in excess of $500 per hour for a design is not usually how it's done. You are correct that the launch could have been handled better, but the launch is done & finished now. If you want to be a part of this community pls start looking to the future rather than moaning about the past. Discussion is healthy for this thread/community but playing the "I told you so" card is not. I hope you can see that.
The post you refer to was in direct response to redcoins request that I illustrate where I had contributed... If he had been reading the forum i would not of course made back reference to my contribution and he would not have bothered to challenge me on this, but as this was an attempt to undermine the contribution I have made and also undermine my personal integrity within this public forum I have the right to reply and give reference to the contribution I have made which represents THE major initiative in changing the logo and slogan. Again, If you had been following the thread of the logo design competition I spent many posts giving constructive criticism to a help avoid some of the problems we now have with the branding... constructive criticism (if you bothered to read my posts) is a device I have regularly employed to effect change since joining this forum so your comment is a little out of place here. 'Discussion is healthy for this thread/community' is a theme I have also mentioned many times in this thread when there is 'heated' debate and I am in total agreement with you here. +1.

Why do people keep saying this coin is dead? I see a lot of potential in it. I finally tried the LOT casino yesterday and liked it a lot even though I lost. The only thing I don't really like it the name since Lotto is associated with the lottery and that makes me think Mega Millions not gambling sites. I'm surprised its selling for so low, I have been buying some up.

We should just ignore the price right now. What matters right now is how EAC stands apart from the other currencies. How do we do that? I think the devs and community has already started on it which is making an impact outside the altcoin community. The more we do more charitable acts with the coin and how the coin can be used outside the community, the more we'll gain recognition and become more distinguished as a real "currency" in the real world. What sets apart the successful coins apart from the meme generated pump and dump coins is if there is a real use or purpose for it. I stopped there. You're delusional. |

It happens all the time. Fake buy walls. If you make decisions based on those small pumps then you will lose. Usually, resistance is really predictable.. EAC pump to 500 satoshi on Cryptsy for about two hours.... be prepared You wish. Step back into reality and dump your coins. It's the only way out. LOT: 64 satoshi -> 14 satoshi. That's 4.5x lower. EAC: 360 satoshi -> 79 satoshi if it follows the same trend. LOT has had great development even in its dark times, but even its ambitious community couldn't fight the autosell and the FUD. Now there is a difference between a 'panic' sell and ^^... Ignore the (several) short duration spikes EAC has had in the past 36 hrs, and what I'm suggesting is pretty much irrefutable. |
