SG on one and EU on another same story since 2-3 days now minus the time period of DDOS :s
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] Profit switching pool - wafflepool.com on: March 25, 2014, 05:34:39 AM
Is someone experiencing slowdowns? Hashrate goes to nearly half of the actual values somewhere during the whole process and stays there, same for WU. Experiencing this on two different machines located geographically apart on different ISP's.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] profit switching auto-exchanging pool - www.middlecoin.com on: February 21, 2014, 03:39:34 AM
MiddleCoin is at 0.008~0.009 BTC per 1 MH/s so this is why people should be leaving.
Meh, so are Clever, Waffle, and Hashcows.  None of the multipools are doing any better--according to their own webpages data.
Incorrect.

Clevermining is reporting 0.0103BTC/Mhash, with a 0.01267BTC/Mhash over the past 30 days.

according to middlecoin.info:  Rate since last payout (BTC /MH)    0.0058

large discrepancy, and in this case ckoeber is right.

cleverming's payouts are flawed.. you want to know why check this out:

http://clevermining.com/users/1NWeAFSpiJ76SThym7wGQ8fgWgQHibPBz9

Check the dates, I'd mined for a little more than 24 hours on join date and look at when the payout arrived and look even after such a long while some of it is left stuck there for eternity even though it was part of the earning that took place within a 24 hour period.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] profit switching auto-exchanging pool - www.middlecoin.com on: February 21, 2014, 03:36:27 AM
I've gotten concerned about a week of bad payouts and really poor pool management by MC. I moved my 16MH last night to Clever. We'll see if Clever's higher claimed profitability overcomes their high reject rate (12% for me). If not, I'm off to try Waffle and then WeMineAll.

Go with megamultipool, 1% rejects does the .01 per 1MH too everyday!
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] Profit switching pool - wafflepool.com on: February 20, 2014, 05:41:35 PM
just curious why I didnt get a payout yet, been over 24 hrs since I first started at waffle pool.

Bitcoins sent to you: 0.00000000
Bitcoins earned (not yet sent): 0.02513647
Bitcoins unconverted (approximate): 0.00018441

I only started the other day but went over to clever mining to check that out and been spreading over a few places since I quit midlecoin... But I noticed I got paid by clevermining but not here

my address is - 1Ebrs5hygiN2oT7AqYJbVGPCXp6z9tuuQ2

thanks

EDIT I JUST READ YOUR REPLY SORRY...

Clevermining's reject rate is a loss on it's own...i would personally suggest move to megamultipool, you would suddenly see why right now nothing compares...have you heard 1% reject rate for a damn multipool, megamultipool does just that! I doubt any multipool comes close to the earning per MH that megamultipool is offering right now!
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] profit switching auto-exchanging pool - www.middlecoin.com on: February 20, 2014, 05:35:26 PM
18 hours on clevermining with 2.6mh/s - 0.026114 total and 6% rejects. seems good enough

Dude you need to seriously read a little here and there, megamultipool does 1% rejects for me and earns me better than clevermining. I tried clevermining guess what after several days of not mining there's still some btc left in my account, 24 hours of mining there and i have still after so many days not received a complete payout, just .008 with 1mh. Leave alone the disgusting reject rate.

Still can't believe how a new pool such as megamultipool.com has been able to manage 1% reject rates and offer possibly even more returns than Middlecoin. I am in awe and can't understand why h20 has not been able to improve the situation in all this time!

The scrypt side is working exquisitely well! I have stopped looking at rejects too and that I do not do on a multipool ever!
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AUTO-SWITCH] Profit-switch auto-exchange pool: CleverMining.com on: February 10, 2014, 03:30:36 AM
This pool is a joke, if you guys want to know which one works wonders head to megamultipool. I had said earlier I would give this 24 hours and now its been a few more than that and I have yet to see the rejects drop.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AUTO-SWITCH] Profit-switch auto-exchange pool: CleverMining.com on: February 09, 2014, 06:23:11 PM
Going to wait 24 hours though to assess the whole situation!
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AUTO-SWITCH] Profit-switch auto-exchange pool: CleverMining.com on: February 09, 2014, 06:21:46 PM
9%+ reject rate, this is on two different machines. One with 7950 and one with 5870, so it's not my settings because megamultipool does way better on same settings. Sadlly the reject rate situation is something I left middlecoin for and moved to megamultipool. It seems unless the reject rate situation is resolved clevermining aint so clever!

9% reject rate is over a period of 17 hours, I started with you that much time ago and I guess I will have to go back to megamultipool!
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Quark is a loser in 2014, Doge is a winner, and how this relates to Vertcoin on: February 05, 2014, 10:38:23 AM
What a bunch of bollocks from OP. It's clear he is trying to spread fud to promote his own coin. He probably fears Quark since it's a contender and is growing rapidly.
That's why he is desperately trying to bash it.

First of all, your doubts are pretty much debunked in this thread. Here someone has similar questions like you without being an ass. http://www.reddit.com/r/QuarkCoin/comments/1wupg6/those_of_you_who_mine_quarkcoin_why/

Second QRK is designed to give less emphasis on mining incentive due to its rat-race of over emphasis on mining (Bitcoin's mining arm-race) which is not the only main reason that a currency exist. Also it makes the constant dumping by miners less effective because of it's model.
Mining has become controversial and sensitive issue due to rat-race of rich miners (ASIC rigs cost 10-15K), environmental hazards, PnD scheme etc. Mining is just an aspect of coin's feature not a zero-sum game. That's why Doge is desperately trying to change their algorithm to scrypt-jane because of their fear for asics, guess what Quark already thought about that and didn't just blindly copy and past LTC to regret it after.

Quarks distribution model is genius, because it needs a low daily maintenance cost to keep it's current price. Even if it would hit $1 now, it would only need $11,000 to maintain it's price, even less when the block reward halves. Again this is made possible by it's well thought economic model, where doge does horribly since it needs over $1million to maintain it's price, that's why it crashed from 230 to 130 causing many naif investors to get burned, because of it's flaws. They cared more about tricking people into believing that they have many coins which is causing problems right now.

Doge is just Feathercoin 2.0 with tight spreads and big sell walls, making it very hard to bypass. Without a meme it would have been faded into obscurity. Quarks infrastructure and community is only growing. Get your flaming elsewhere shibe.

Dude you may be a senior member with lots of experience, but I think you're too invested in a coin that could never really make it. I think the Quark rocket to the moon did take off but like the 1986 shuttle disaster Quark's o-ring failure has either happened or about to happen, in my view it's an accident rooted in history. Look below and tell me where Quark stands on the map?

Since the last 10-15 minutes miner has been waiting for work from the pool! Seems it's all down for now!

Is there any word on the auto trade option, I read that only few users have that capability. Is there something we need to achieve to unlock that feature, are there any timelines on the launch of this feature for the common man?

I am now writing the faq for autotrading, first that needs to be finished before users can use this function, else my mailbox will be flooded with questions Smiley

Always up to help you as long as it helps to introduce the feature first, if you need any help on the site don't hesitate to PM even if it means content writing is involved:)

in around last 8-10 hours my reject rate has been 7%...is this normal...always on middlecoin.com i have these days when rejects are huge and I am forced to hop here and there:(
On the second miner rig its 9% Sad

Check which server you are on; make sure to select the middlecoin server geographically closest to you.

Then I would check your mining configuration. I have high reject rates before with an incorrectly configured cgminer.conf

I use middlecoin.com because other servers become down now and then. Although the closest to my location would be asia server.

My config on a 5870 is as follows:

timeout /t 60
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1

cgminer --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://middlecoin.com:3333 -u 17fZoMHnQ4or5GhrwXznRZ52jPE3pqjmwM -p 1 --thread-concurrency 7168 --lookup-gap 2 -I 19 -g 1 -w 256 --temp-cutoff 95 --temp-overheat 80 --temp-target 70

On a 7950 it's:

#!/bin/sh

export DISPLAY=:0

export GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT=100

export GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS=1

cd /home/deltree/Desktop/miner/cgminer-3.7.2-x86_64-built

./cgminer --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://eac.poolerino.com:3334 -u x -p x -I 19 -w 256 -g 1 --gpu-engine 1100 --gpu-fan 50-100 --gpu-memclock 1520 --gpu-powertune 20 --temp-cutoff 95 --temp-overheat 80 --temp-target 70

Removed thread concurrency yesterday but it hasn't done anything really, dont use the conf file only bat file. No HW errors on any, using cgminer 3.7.2 hash rates are 400 and 643 respectively.
