h20 is not ignoring the coins, just raping a bit less: 5 ghs instead of 22 ghs, for a reasonable payout.

he's getting profit for his miners so what he does makes sense. coins just need to evolve.

MafiaCoin indeed.

Don't burn your clothing in an attempt to stay warm.  Wink

If not MC, then another will come along and are already coming along. How about summing up the net total of all known multi-pools? The only solution you're proposing is abstinence from MC. The ultimate solution is in code. You are never going to be able to convince people to let go of profitability when some have invested tens of thousands of dollars in mining equipment, if not hundreds of thousands by now. At least target the actual, reparable problem instead of eagerly blaming a single pool for problems that stem from inherently flawed design.

If you guys keep raping Earthcoin, it's done. The market can't take your dumps anymore, and you are about butcher what has been a great milkcow.

I feel your pain, but at the same time, it's simply not going to happen. Multi-pools are sprouting up all over the place and it's only going to get worse. Coin dev's really need to stay ahead of the game. If GPU mining can have such an affect, it's going to be all hell when viable scrypt ASIC's arrive.

Hard to have much sympathy for EAC - the devs are likely part of the massive dumping.

20GH of MC is trivial compared to the 2% premine for what is at the end of the day, a gimmicky scrypt-clone.

it's absolutely idiotic to blame miners for problems with coins when these weaknesses have been known since Terracoin, and Sunny King basically fixed the profit hopping difficulty problem with PPC over a year ago

So, what's the latest folks? Trying to stay loyal to the pool but payouts are abysmal all week. Are we heading for bankruptcy here at MC?

Try another switching pool with 10x less hash or more if you want profits for right now. There is no coin doing well enough for good profits at this kind of hashrate. Doge was the reason for the recent payout buffs, and MC is over 1/3 their hashrate anyways. A tipping point is being reached.

I have personally returned to hashcows. They are mining coins with 70-120 profitability rating atm.

Let me know if I am doing something right. Smiley

I've gotten concerned about a week of bad payouts and really poor pool management by MC. I moved my 16MH last night to Clever. We'll see if Clever's higher claimed profitability overcomes their high reject rate (12% for me). If not, I'm off to try Waffle and then WeMineAll.

True but you can mine most coins solo and still expect at least 0.01 BTC per 1 MH/s.

That is the key; if you don't get that rate on a pool you are wasting your time.

Better off picking a single coin pool and mining on your own.

MiddleCoin is at 0.008~0.009 BTC per 1 MH/s so this is why people should be leaving.

What in the world are you talking about? MC is @ 14-15Gh, down from 20Gh. Tipping point would have already been reached. Prior to the operator going on hiatus and the staggering profits, this pool's been really stable with very low reject rate.

As far as payout, other pools are still reliably earning between 0.009 - 0.012/Mh/day.

Seriously, you're all over the place. One minute you're preaching about the ills of MC and the next you admit you've been mining here but decided to go elsewhere because of profitability decline. What's your point, exactly?

Meh, so are Clever, Waffle, and Hashcows.  None of the multipools are doing any better--according to their own webpages data.

The only way to beat it is by mining a single coin with a better profitability than that 0.009-0.01 that multis make.  A quick perusal of CoinWarz today showed none that were more profitable than that.  Right now Lottocoin tops the list and it's paying 0.0114BTC/Mh/day

There are coins out there that are, but you have to hunt for them--mostly the newer ones that are not multipool friendly because of their miners (think keccak here).  Vert, Dark, etc.

Incorrect.

Clevermining is reporting 0.0103BTC/Mhash, with a 0.01267BTC/Mhash over the past 30 days.

according to middlecoin.info:  Rate since last payout (BTC /MH)    0.0058

large discrepancy, and in this case ckoeber is right.

Go with megamultipool, 1% rejects does the .01 per 1MH too everyday!

cleverming's payouts are flawed.. you want to know why check this out:

http://clevermining.com/users/1NWeAFSpiJ76SThym7wGQ8fgWgQHibPBz9

Check the dates, I'd mined for a little more than 24 hours on join date and look at when the payout arrived and look even after such a long while some of it is left stuck there for eternity even though it was part of the earning that took place within a 24 hour period.

You mined less than 0.01 - no daily payout, then. You received weekly payout for balance over .001 on Sunday. Similar to MC-style, only they pay immediately when 0.01 is reached.

Some more to try, already mentioned, but thought I'd list them again. There's more than just Waffle/Hashbro/CleverMining:

yeah i'm not worried about stuck coins because i pay the pool fee for them to sell strategically.  same with the 3.8% from middlecoin.    If you care about stuck coins, recieve what you mine from multipool.ws .  i'm here so i don't have to worry about selling coins.

additionally, while the dates were the same, i have no way to confirm if identical hardware with identical hashrates were used, what the network conditions were, or even if those rigs are yours.

my rigs here are all set to failover to other pools and stay there.  i've had 3 miners on clever for 3 days and the payout is as they estimate:  0.0103BTC/Mhash today.

Its amazing that this pool is still alive with 14 Gh/s and still frozen stats...and unexchanged piling up like the New York City Dump...the weekend it near and H20 is rumored to be going out of town for some relaxation....

I kinda want this pool to survive....hopefully it will.

But this pool has never been this fucked up....

H20 I wish you the best bro. Get some relaxation and clear your mind and hire some help with that $80K per week profits!

Tripjammer, stop spreading FUD.  The post you are referencing about "going out of town" was sarcasm.  The /s after the vacation comment should have clued you in.

Not denying there are problems with MC, but don't spread lies.

There are many alternatives at this point in the game. I found this list.

http://www.hashbros.co.in/
https://coinex.pw/ (yes, an exchange that also has a switching pool)
https://hashco.ws/
http://switchercoin.com/
https://www.multipool.us/
https://poolwarz.com/
http://alternatepool.com/
http://wafflepool.com/
