61  Economy / Speculation / We're going down faster than my ex-girlfriend on: December 17, 2014, 05:10:48 PM
I'm not panicking, for I am a long-term hodler. I just wanted to start a thread with that saying.

Proceed.
62  Economy / Gambling / Re: CoinRoyale.com • Blackjack, Dice, Roulette, Baccarat, Video Poker, Slots (new!) on: December 16, 2014, 09:25:47 PM
Deposited 0.25 BTC and it has not credited despite having A LOT of confirmations. Where is victorhing? He is usually the image of customer service.

I have the same issue. Sent around 0.87btc last night and it has many confirmations, but it's not credited to the account. I have sent an email but no word yet. They are usually very good at responding. Maybe there is some sort of glitch on the website that they are working through.
63  Other / Meta / Re: Communist style censorship on btc talk forum on: December 11, 2014, 03:08:12 AM
Should be in meta.

OP, remember, keeping things organized is how most of us like it.

I guess it is very revealing why mods acted in such a swift fashion. Have not seen them act so fast yet. And the thread is not about price speculation, it is about one of the most important issues concerning bitcoin.

You should move it back to Bitcoin Discussion and allow people to have a healthy debate , instead of hiding it in an obscure section of the forum.

But.... your entire post is speculation. I believe the opposite of you, and that's also speculation. Un-bunch yo panties.

I'm on the rocket, just waiting for it to take off  Grin
65  Economy / Speculation / Crazy low volume the last few days, is something big about to happen? on: December 07, 2014, 10:29:07 PM
It looks like the last 48 hours of trading is at an all-time low and the price has obviously stabilized in the recent days. Could this mean that something big is about to happen? If so, which way do you think it'll go?
66  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MasterCard attacks bitcoin on: December 06, 2014, 01:18:45 AM
Check out the video likes vs dislikes. People know what's up.
67  Economy / Speculation / Re: So my employee had this on my desk this morning... on: December 06, 2014, 01:12:54 AM
I don't believe falllling/fewcoins has any employees.

You don't need to believe anything, you've probably only seen a few thousand dollars in your life... I own two businesses that accept bitcoin, we dump everything right to fiat now, we used to hold. The jig is up but you permabulls won't see it even after it hits you like a brick!

Why do you continue to spread your hate for Bitcoin? If you hate it that much, isn't it easier for you to just walk away?

Walk away from what? I am involved in the economy daily... probably way more than the last 100 posters who replied to my posts

You call Bitcoin fake and a scam. That seems like a good reason to walk away if that's how you feel. Why don't you worry about other things. This board is clearly not the place you belong.

69  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin do another 10x price increase? on: December 03, 2014, 05:12:56 PM
My uncle made 5 million dollars investing in a local casino back in the 90's.  He believed in the business model and saw the value.  He regularly bought more shares as the price went down for unknown reasons.  At one point, he was down 90% and the only reason he held was there wasn't much to sell relative to his original investment.  He rode this roller coaster for 10 years until finally they received a takeover bid from Penn gaming in early 2000's.  It was extremely stressful but paid off in the end.

Making big money is NOT EASY.  It takes time.  You must try to identify something of value and keep on investing and HODL!! If you cant take the risk, go buy Walmart stock or Alcoa and get 5-7% a year.  If you wait for Bitcoin to become a SAFE investment, the real money will have been made already.

To make REAL money, you NEED RISK.

This is it right here. I'm a gambling man by nature and I understand that my Bitcoins at the moment are just that...a gamble. I'm in this for the long haul and even if the price were to drop to a dollar, there is no way that I would sell a single one. I'd continue to buy more on the ride down. Then, in 10 years, I can retire at 42.
70  Economy / Speculation / Re: OVER $18 MILLION DOLLARS OUT OF WALLETS IN ONE MONTH!!! on: December 02, 2014, 06:18:41 AM
I don't... understand... what your point is.
71  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you plan to get out of bitcoin? on: November 29, 2014, 07:37:17 AM
I'm a long term holder and I see no reason to get out. If you're here to convert to fiat one day after making a large profit, I think you're missing the overall point of Bitcoin.
72  Economy / Speculation / Re: Tracking Coinbase and Circle cold-storage reserves on: November 20, 2014, 04:02:46 AM
What would be the benefit of doing this?
73  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How I Used Bitcoin To Feed The Homeless on: November 17, 2014, 07:38:30 PM
Very cool, this is a great use of BTC.
74  Economy / Speculation / Re: Here it comes.. on: November 17, 2014, 03:56:42 AM
The suspense is....

..... not really doing anything for me. This is the 10th time I've opened a thread like this in the last week.
75  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ISIS to create own coin. How can we convince to use Bitcoin? on: November 14, 2014, 04:42:21 AM
The OP is ridiculous and should exit the bitcoin community immediately.
76  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't invest more than you can afford to lose on: November 13, 2014, 06:34:21 AM
I just wanted to stop in and say that I love the OP's advice. I'm 32 and have about $10,000 in BTC and I keep buying. Can I afford to do it? Who cares. I have a roof over my head and food on the table, and I believe in BTC

If I lose it all, then I pick myself back up and start on a new project. Regardless of what anyone tells you, there's always more money out there.
77  Economy / Speculation / Re: Has anyone else stopped caring? on: November 11, 2014, 05:45:12 PM
You need to post your projection on how many bitcoins you need to have to be a millionaire (in bitcoin $ value) by 2017 and 2020.

My prediction (based on the best fitting model I've seen is):

End of 2017- ~$362,000/BTC
END of 2020 in this case theoretically produces $3,300,000/BTC, which is a bit too much, therefore even the best model is unlikely to be exactly correct, but these are the numbers.

model:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=470453.0

Ok so, I love your enthusiasm. If you're correct, at the end of 2017, I'll have over $14 mil, which I'm ok with. Either way up or down, I'm a long term hodler.
78  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Stolen BTC from Bitfinex account on: November 11, 2014, 07:23:58 AM
That sucks man, I'm sorry to hear that. I've had BTC stolen as well and I can't really offer any advice, but hopefully someone else can. The only thing I can tell you is that now keep the vast majority of my coins in cold storage. Good luck.
79  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi's real name revelled on: November 07, 2014, 04:11:37 AM
Yet another attention seeking whore trying to be the one to find out who Satoshi is...why don't you just leave him/her/them alone? It would be better for Bitcoin if people didn't poke their heads in other peoples business.
Your first post and your already telling members what to do, great, welcome to the forum.

But what if... he's... Satoshi...?
80  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HOW MANY BITCOIN LOST IN SPACE. on: November 02, 2014, 07:21:37 PM
There is no way to tell. Likely 10's of thousands, if not 100's of thousands.
