As per rules, I am posting second time today, to see if i am lucky now to be rich with tips.

btw, Good luck with your efforts to promote tips.

I could see only a little promotion with tips.

I request the people behind tips, to look for different brainstorming and promotion techniques to promote it well.

Thank you!

haha, not every post = 500k, there is only one 500k jackpot, just like there is a 499,000 jackpot and so on. Max payout so far is 14k.

0.00000004 LTC/TIPS ?

5,000 TIPS = 0.0002 LTC = 0.56 CENT Huh?

Ok to make it a little more worth while i will add random payouts of upto 500K TIPS.
So this could be from 2000 to 500k.

Good luck

I am giving away 10,000,000 fedora's/Tips
as a promotion to increase awareness in fedora.

Each post will receive 2000 Tips until the pot runs out.
I have added a random payout of between 2000 -> 500k
Only one payment will be made every 24 hours.

Fedora has potential to become a widely used coin.
With dev teams working on android wallets,
facebook apps and payment processing
it seems a little undervalued at coinmarketcap.com.

Post your Fedora wallet address to receive payment.
Fedora has super fast transaction time so shortly after you post you receive.

How's the payment platform coming on? Does it work well?

Is this coin going anywhere?

Hello Bitcointalk!

Although some could say FedoraCoin is a dying coin, I can't seem to just give up on it and recently have picked up a project.
With my rather limited knowledge of Java, I poked around trying to port the DogeCoin Android wallet...
But for that I needed to first change up the bitcoinJ library, which had already been ported to DogeCoin. Then, just change the network constants appropriate to FedoraCoin.
However, I seem to hit a brick wall and seemingly making no progress in solving it. So I ask the community if you guys would like to check out my github!

The problem is that I can get it to compile and all, but my bitcoinj port fails horribly at all the tests before it's done compiling.
That being said, the original port (DogecoinJ) which this comes from does not pass all the tests either (I have confirmed this with the original developer). However, if done correctly, should pass all of the early tests.
My best guess is that I screwed up somewhere in NetworkParameters.java or MainNetParams.java. Those are the places I mainly suspect, but I could be wrong.

https://github.com/denwaotoko/fedoracoinj

I hope I won't embarass myself showing you all this, but if anyone would like to feel free to fork it and fix it up Smiley

If I get this working, I'd like to give back to the crypto community by porting more altcoins to the Android Wallet, but at this current stage I'm too dumb to figure it out on my own.

Thanks for reading, and thanks in advance for any help I get, my ears are open to all suggestsions!

If you pull this off, expect allot of "Tips" coming your way!
490  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [TIPS] FedoraCoin - Euphoria - Enlightenment - Intelligence on: January 05, 2014, 12:47:40 PM
Alright I am still awaiting a reply from the dev about where we can send these, I am still a bit new here too just felt we needed to get a bounty going.

So at the moment it is at, assuming everyone who has posted is serious....

21.5 Mil TIPs as a bounty for an android wallet

I would make an address for us all to send to to ensure the bounty as of now but i have seen how those ideas are taken from jr members without any private trades so until then we wait on Dev.

I really think a wallet will help, having TIPS handheld is a necessity.

I will contribute 4.5 million tips to bring the wallet reward to 25 million.

This coin is so underrated, quite allot of work is being done on it.

Plus i think this is a long term investment coin, the block rewards half to 2,500,000 at 100000 blocks.

iSpace Mining Pools welcomes UniCoin into the fold at http://unic.ispace.co.uk

Two blocks found already! This pool is actually working

Yes im getting accepted shares on this pool also!

Does the block reward rise to 16 UNIC per block after 1001 blocks?
495  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: OKPAY no longer accepting GBP transactions? on: December 26, 2013, 11:46:21 PM
This is the latest received in response to the question in the screenshot:

We have received a notification from the UK bank Voice Commerce Limited prohibited further exchange of the funds deposited via this bank into crypto-currencies. We have to follow these requirements otherwise our account in this bank will be closed.
Please use other deposit options.

Thank you.

So the people OKPAY use to bank are refusing the request?

Would like to know if anyone else has had a similar experience in the UK.

497  Bitcoin / Legal / OKPAY no longer accepting GBP transactions? on: December 24, 2013, 02:45:16 PM
I had transferred around 150 gbp to my OKPAY account to them move on to some crypto exchanges. The payment was put on hold (not so uncommon), but this time I was met with the following message:

Still waiting on reply will update.
Anyone heard similar?

You guys heard of emercoin? Not much info out there at the minute just wondering if it worth mining.
The difficulty is silly high for a new alt. But from what i have read it seems to have dedicated dev team.
