Hello, I'm a fellow bitcoin fan and decided to work for bitcoin a couple of months ago.
Lately I have been only picking a few jobs now and then to do on my "free" time.
Graphic design is what I do on the side, I have been doing it for more than 4 years already, but my real career is on Software development.

Estimate on Rates:
I primarily do this jobs for bitcoin in my free time (Since I have to manage another business and work on many projects)
If your time constraints match with my free time then my rates will be dirt cheap, if not then I still can do the job, but I would be charging full price instead.
So it goes from 15$ to 40$ / hour.
As I said before, I also go cheaper for startup projects that I like.

personal preference shouldn't be a factor when picking a workstation OS. Performance wise CentOS minimal is the perfect distro for VPSs since it has almost nothing in it. and a recommendation on top of that is to replace the apache httpd with nginx or a NodeJS based web server.

just a little tip: if you are hositing web in a VPS, please don't use ubuntu.
Get CentOS minimal.

I had 800k in 1.6, but I'm not sure if that was a correct amount
I believe I bought 350k~450k mintcoins back when it was at 14

I just deleted the chain file and kept the wallet.dat when updating.
I didn't really use a "backup" I used the file directly.

I just updated from 1.6 to 1.9.1. All my transactions are confirmed and all but it says that I have a 0 balance in my wallet.
Anyone had the same problem?

oh I'm using repairwallet.
suddenly half of my mintcoins dissapeared and then again half of mintcoins I had left are now in stake ..

This serve no purpose whatsoever, I believe he just did it for the fun of coding and learning how to use the bitcoin protocol which is a valid enough excuse.

I work alongside the client to guarantee satisfaction and provide multiple choices. I won't make you do the thinking on the design but give you multiple choices to pick from given a concept to work with.

Well I hope they patched it already. (they have to recompile apache or nginx with the openSSL update)
otherwise, someone can just start sniffing again and get all the accounts again.

I don't use the same password for everything, I use a composite password made up of 3 words and both alphanumeric and special characters
(not afraid of saying how my password is made, bruteforcing it will take more than a couple of years anyways. )

Someone, I'm sure just testing things out hacked my account and changed my mail. (Didn't change my secret question, which is how I got my account back)
I'm very careful with my password and it is not an easy one to crack, my thoughts are on that the site might have been exposed to the heartbleed openSSL vulnerability and someone could have gotten a list of users and passwords from the server.

I'm assuming you want this to be a c++ dll right?
