Neh, it isn't like that. I'd guess you mean to say odds= 4.2. Therefore, 0.01*4.2= 0.042BTC (winning amount). If you lose your bet, you'll loose 0.01BTC(in back bet), that's all, I'd guess.

Meanwhile, in order to clarify you, the lay betting works as the following, if the odds are like 42, like you said, and the stake 0.01 BTC, it means that if you selection doesn't win, you will win the 0.01 BTC, if the selection you have choosen to bet against (lay bet) wins, then, you will lose 0.41 BTC.
When the bet is being placed, only if you have in available balance, the worst case scenario needed-funds, i.e., 0.41 BTC, the bet will placed, because there is the need to assure that the user that is betting against you, receive the odds he is suppose to receive (and this is a back bet with a stake of 0.01 BTC and odds 42, meaning that if this user wins, we will win your 0.41 BTC, and if he lose, you will win his 0.01 BTC stake).

That's what got me interested in trying affiliate your site different from gambling sites in general. a few minutes ago I read your site's affiliate system right at the bottom says

When you register, you are automatically assigned to the regular referral comission of 30% of winnings genereted by your referred user. If you fell you can bring a considerable volume of users to BetBTC, you may contact us and negotiate the base rate.

So I want to know the commissions earned 30% or 4% ?

There are 2 different things that shouldn't be confused:

• Fee / Commission on BetBTC Market Gross Winnings (not only to affiliates but every bettors) - 4%
  
• Affiliate commission - 30%

Example: If your referral wins 1 Bitcoin on a market (Match Odds - Real Madrid vs Barcelona) you will win:
BTC1 X 4% (deducted to betbtc) X 30% (betbtc will share with you) = BTC0.012

This amount is 100% guaranteed, there's no possible way that any posterior referral activity can nullify this previously earned profit.
If you have the structure to bring some active users like other affiliates are already doing, I tell you that you can win a guaranteed constant monthly income.
