1  Economy / Economics / Re: The Future of Cryptocurrency on: June 24, 2018, 02:26:09 PM
In recent years, blockchain technologies have given rise to a new industry. Numerous fintech startups create innovative solutions to radically change the world which we live in today.

SWIFT 2.0 on Blockchain

Ripple Labs, Inc. – a company developing cryptocurrency of the same name (Ripple) – is a good example of how the blockchain can be used to transform the landscape of modern financial transactions. Ripple solves the existing problem in the world of finance.

Today, we can send letters instantly by using emails instead of traditional postal service. We can send any information to anywhere in the world in one click. But we can’t say the same about money. We can’t make a transfer of money from a sender to receiver as fast as a transfer of information. The existing solutions that the current world can offer are very slow and expensive.

If you want to send, say, $10,000 from New York to London, it will be faster to take cash, go to the JFK airport and fly through the Atlantic on the plane. Because traditional interbank transfer will take from 2 to 5 working days.

Ripple makes cross-border payments faster and cheaper. It takes only 4 seconds to make a transaction through Ripple blockchain network, and it costs at roughly $0.0004 even for the amount of hundreds million dollars.

Crypto Derivatives

Step by step, cryptocurrency is being recognized by the traditional financial world as a new kind of digital asset with many benefits. Wall Street approached crypto by establishing derivatives contracts. In December 2017, the two largest U.S. Futures Exchanges – Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) and Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) – launched futures trading on Bitcoin. This opened up crypto-market for big money of institutional clients and hedge funds.

Since the launch of futures, there has been a heated debate about the expected Bitcoin ETFs on New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). If this is launched, you will be able to buy shares of such ETFs as stocks which price will be correlated with the price of Bitcoin.

Next level of crypto derivatives is option contracts, both options on Bitcoin futures and options on Bitcoin itself. Whilst CBOE and CME are still discussing the possible launch of options on Bitcoin futures, the Bitcoin options already being traded on several crypto-exchanges such as LedgerX and Deribit.

After the Bubble

The tech sector of U.S. stock market is determined by the NASDAQ indexes that include stocks of numerous tech companies, and many of them were born during the famous Dotcom bubble in 1995-2002.

At its climax in March 2000, NASDAQ Composite index peaked at a high of over 5,000 points and then lost about 80% of its value dropping to a low of around 1,000 points in October 2002.
A new all-time high has been reached only after 15 years in 2015, surpassing the level made during the Dotcom bubble.

The charts of NASDAQ index in 1999-2000 and Bitcoin price in 2017-2018 are incredibly similar, with the only difference that velocity of Bitcoin price increase is several times faster than the velocity of NASDAQ growth.

Many companies created during the Dotcom bubble were really ahead of their time. For example, Amazon, which was founded in 1997 as an online bookstore, is now among world’s top-5 tech companies. Amazon has finally become an integral part of lives of the most U.S. residents but this has happened only with the passage of time and the introduction of the Internet into everyday life.

The same happens with Crypto now. Today, the blockchain technology is really ahead of its time. It is possible that after several years many blockchain projects will be implemented in the real world, and Crypto will emerge from a new Renaissance. Until then, the Bitcoin price can possibly suffer decline and continuous depression, just as NASDAQ did.

The recent sharp drop in the crypto market caused the decrease in volatility and the decline in public interest. The initial excitement is gone now and the market has calmed down. This is a sign that the new market is moving into the maturity phase.

Big money like quiet markets. So, news has begun to come that hedge funds with the money of Soros, Rockefeller, and even Rothschilds family are moving into the world of crypto.

These financial sharks seem confident in the bright future of crypto-markets. And the most interesting time is yet to come.

Yes, I believe it. Bitcoin will have a good and sustainable future as it is today with investors who continue to invest in bitcoin to make bitcoin skyrocket and so good that bitcoin can last for many years to come even centuries. That's in my opinion.
2  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bad news for Bitcoin on: June 24, 2018, 02:18:58 PM
If the opinion of Robert Schiller is seriously taken into account by investors from around the world, it is simply because he was the Nobel Prize in Economics in 2013. But when it comes to talking about Bitcoin, man does not chew his words. He is not seized by the craze that surrounds crypto-currencies for several months now.
Mr Schiller believes that Bitcoin is a speculative bubble that will end up exploding, even if in itself this virtual currency should not disappear.

Yes, I do not care about bad news about bitcoin, just waste time thinking about it, better invite people to join blockchain. We can join bounty campaign or investing.
3  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin holders will have to pay their tax? on: June 24, 2018, 02:02:48 PM
What will happen on BTC if the government will said that all the bitcoin holder have to pay their tax??
Maybe the expansion of BTC community will get low than usual.

I think, Trading profits are already taxed. Crypto tax already exists. This is part of the necessary rules that can really help improve adoption that goes against your statement. You can not expect to make a profit and do not pay taxes. I think the government can take taxes from my profits.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto VS national currency on: June 24, 2018, 01:53:54 PM
I found this expression on the news channel about the crypto currency: "Anyone who will try  to buy coffee for cash in 2023, runs the risk of causing laughter from the seller, that he does not use crypto currency."
how do you think, is it realistic? Can a crypto currency replace national  money?
I think that it's possible, but it will take more time.

Yes, I think not. Bitcoin will not replace the national currency. I just imagine that in the future there is a digital currency but not Crypto. It's more like USD or other currencies in digital form. That's in my opinion.

6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you mean when you say Bitcoin is number 1 on: June 23, 2018, 11:41:12 PM
We are entering an era of multiple digital currencies, and many of them will survive. Bitcoin is certain to be one of them, but it can't be number one for every factor. Where do you think Bitcoin will stay as number 1

  • Store of value
  • Services in addition to simple money transfer
  • Convenience
  • Security
  • Investment/speculation
  • Safe transfer speed
  • Privacy
  • Freedom from globalist control
  • Other

Bitcoin number 1 because the price is very volatile and very profitable for those who have many bitcoin.bitcoin is the world's first cryptocurreny coin. Bitcoin is the king of crypto.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The End Of The Bounty. on: June 23, 2018, 11:26:10 PM
Currently, there are a huge number of ICO projects. Of course, we all understand that half of these projects are either Scam or just very weak projects that nobody needs. But now there are at least such projects. What will be in a year, when the ICO every day will be less and less until it reaches the point that one project per month will be released? It is also worth mentioning that the number of participants in the bounty companies is increasing day by day, and the money allocated to the bounty companies are becoming less.  Conclusion: the bounty of the company will exist for another year, or a maximum of two.
What do you think about this?

If anyone agrees with me or if someone wants to do a good deed, then share the merit. I would be very grateful  Smiley

Yes, I think most of the bounties are nonsense and some of them are scams, I see a lot of projects are scams even their participants do not pay the right amount of missing tokens. That's in my opinion.
8  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why do we complain when the market is down? on: June 23, 2018, 11:06:46 PM
Ever since bitcoin price started dropping, most of the threads i see here are : is bitcoin dying?, will bitcoin go green again?, should i hold or sell? etc. I laugh when i see such threads. Every business has a window of opportunity when the market is ripe to enter. This is the time to invest more in bitcoin. Every good investor see every dip as an opportunity to buy more bitcoin and hold. The weak ones see dips and they start to shiver; selling all their bitcoins, even including their altcoins. Please community members, the way we are handling this drop in bitcoin will scare new members from even investing in the coin which will cause a further decrease in the price and the unexpected might happen. Let's have a healthy discussion about our coin even in hard times, and it will attract more people to invest and eventually pump the price again. Friends what do you also think?

I think if these people really know about bitcoin and blockchain, they will find that bitcoin has been in an increasing trend for a long time. So it is definitely a good idea to hold bitcoin now and wait until the market will rise again.
9  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is market down due to Eid of muslims? on: June 17, 2018, 02:21:19 PM
With Eid just around the corner across the globe...

Are mulims in crypto space selling and taking their money out from crypto space to buy gifts for their loved ones causing market down?

No, I think with reason respect to Muslim celebration has nothing to do with Bitcoin prices. The bitcoin price down is a market correction. I believe the market will go up soon.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you interested in cryptocurrency? on: June 17, 2018, 02:13:34 PM
Personally, I started to be interested in crypto currency because of its idea and technology, but now I'm more trying to make money with the help of it.
So, why are you interested in cryptocurrency?
I think it's the good topic for discussion!

I think we are all interested in the crypto currency for the purpose of making money, Crypto is our future. In the future It  will be needed.
11  Economy / Speculation / Re: What/who make the price of bitcoin on: June 17, 2018, 01:57:54 PM
Hello everybody, I am new to the bitcoin and bitcointalk forum. I just wonder what/who make the price of bitcoin, and what does it depend on?

I think It depends on the demand and supply. If the product is not desirable the price may go down, if the product is greatly pursued after the price will jump. That's in my opinion
12  Economy / Economics / Re: How will crypto go long term? on: June 16, 2018, 03:03:06 PM
I am fairly new to the crypto world. During my short time, I have contemplated how crypto will go down over the next few years.

Slowly, over time more regulations will be adopted worldwide. This is not because regulators are scared that people are getting scammed, but because they will start limiting this world from us small fish so the banks and "qualified" investors can tke over. All the large banks will then push their own crypto, and we will be left with nothing.

In my opinion, it is in our best interest to gain enough profit so we will have the funds to become qualified investors, and be able to re-enter the markets through the banks exchanges.

What does everyone else think? Do you think the big fish will continue allowing us to do trading long term, or are our days numbered?

I think Cryptocurrency especially bitcoin is not owned by anyone, so you are free to trade as you wish. Even if the regulation occurs, which I hope it does, the bitcoin investment market will remain an open market for new traders. I like being able to invest in bitcoin, because I get a lot of profit from bitcoin.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you picky with ICOs? on: June 16, 2018, 11:26:25 AM
Are you picky with ICOs?

I think you are better picky or all the eth you get with difficulty will be lost. Because some icos are scams. The best thing you can do is invest in a project that has a good and experienced product and team. So, be careful.
14  Economy / Economics / Re: Blockchain will help Economy. on: June 16, 2018, 11:19:44 AM
Blockchain was imagined as an approach to guarantee the dependability of the digital currency Bitcoin. It is a genuinely basic idea, an advanced record that record all exchanges that happen inside its framework, much like any firm or individual monitors their funds. The distinction is that the record is freely accessible to all individuals in the framework, making it difficult to adjust records without being recognized. This implies individuals can assume that money related records are totally exact without relying on a reliable outsider like a bank, a legislature or an application to affirm it.
This has expansive ramifications crosswise over numerous businesses. Not exclusively will it cut expenses and enhance proficiency by evacuating outsiders, it additionally considers far more noteworthy adaptability by giving exchanges which are an unchangeable reality, which can encourage the sharing of accounts. For instance, blockchain can enable companions to share protection, or neighbors to have a similar vitality contract and guarantee that everybody pays for precisely what they utilize.

In my opinion, This is indeed a proof of the revolution of the digital age. While all individuals started competing to develop eth-based token projects supported by the blockchain system became one of the successes of this century.
This is the future technology that will be needed in the future. Lets see.
15  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Up and Down Movement on: June 16, 2018, 11:13:02 AM

19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Brisbane International Airport Now Accept Cryptocurrencies on: June 10, 2018, 11:45:10 AM
I recently heard that Brisbane International Airport (Australia) now accepts bitcoin and various cryptocurrency payments. Since it is third busiest airport in Australia and every merchant of airport accepts cryptocurrency payments it will be a great news for crypto enthusiasts. This project lead by Australian payment provider Travelbybit.

It is a good news mate, I hope all countries do same like that. Because crypto is the best payment method. It is the future currency.
