62  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crash is over, nice call on the bottom guys! ATH will come quickly on: January 16, 2018, 05:42:57 PM
It's going sub $4k, I hate to be the bear of the forums but.. we need some real talk here.
63  Economy / Speculation / $800-$4000 will be the bottom. on: January 16, 2018, 05:42:10 PM
A wide range but all this talk about $11k being the bottom.. tsk tsk tsk.  Way to many bulls left.  Once we see thee perma bulls slaughtered and left for the vultures, then and only then well the market steady out.
64  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Who likes pod miners? on: January 12, 2018, 07:53:32 PM
I don't think you making 300% on these is criminal sidehack...  IMO miners are hard to come by now, you've put a lot of effort in and a 300% mark up is more  than fair.
65  Economy / Speculation / Re: Spazzdla's TA, Jan18th ish shit's going down on: January 11, 2018, 06:43:08 PM
Any reason, outside the technical analysis, to choose that date?

Yes, he does not even know how the market works, and no, the price is not going to crash so do not worry about that. And the recent dip was just because of the huge fud and manipulation, they wanted to enter the market at a -10%, that is why it dropped. Now it is going up again

After watching the price go from $70 to $1200 to $200, you have no idea how bad it can get.  The idea the price cannot crash is a joke.
66  Economy / Speculation / Re: Spazzdla's TA, Jan18th ish shit's going down on: January 11, 2018, 06:41:08 PM
I was monitoring this triangle myself. Im not sure if we can call it an ascending triangle or we'll have to deal with a symmetrical triangle... I think the angle is rather ascending.. so we are dealing with a near 50/50, it could go both ways, we are going to find out before January 21th-ish in any case.

As we get close the 21th, it will take less volume for it to break the support lines either up and down. If big bullish news happen we'll see it going up as it will quickly break the ceiling, any bad news will make it go down, if nothing happens.. the market will naturally choose.

I am seeing more of a symmetrical triangle as well.  A little nerve racking.  I would like to think the bull run will continue.

I just love that name  joule, a unit of work for a proof of work coin.  So awesome and the metrics are great.  JOULECOIN!!

Sorry been busy, I am going to send a tx with a comment sooner or later lol.

It might be best to keep it untouched as IMZ is saying.
72  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: New bitfury B8 on: January 04, 2018, 02:46:02 PM
Can you confirm that it is a legit webshop?

I can't see any link at Bitfury's official website www.bitfury.com

I cannot, kind of why I asked the question.

I'd am thinking it is legit as there is a guy in Toronto wanting to sell them.. Claims to have them on hand.  It's a 2 hour drive and that city has to many Fing people so going to find out isn't very tempting.

75  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / New bitfury B8 on: January 04, 2018, 03:16:47 AM
Anyone running it?

http://bitfury.shop/index.php?route=product/product&path=25&product_id=50

"Be wary of this website. I sent an email to Bitfury and they confirmed that they are not associated with bitfury.shop in any way. This is likely a scam!"

From a poster below.. quite suspicious..

Bounties would be great for this coin.

Would be interested in re-vamping the website with modern branding. First impressions mean alot.

If anybody knows the Dev/Devs on this  coin. Hit me up

Hi. Just a heads up, I've been working with a designer to redo the XJO website. I messaged with JohnJoule a couple months back with our rough ideas. He said he would be on board with the changes. The designer i'm working with is a pro who has done many high level corporate and institutional websites.....The hold up is with me and I apologize, I need to help the designer fill out some content and i've just been too busy to get around to it.

Anyways, just wanted to make sure everyone knows we're working on it so all efforts are put into the same basket. UFO1000, IMZ, anyone else around here if you want to have a look at the whole rough site please message me. I just don't want to post the whole thing here yet as its on a personal server and its very incomplete so i think it might be counterproductive to put it on this public forum yet.

Here is the top of the site with new logo and design. Love to hear thoughts from the community!

We were thinking a lightning bolt would make a great symbol for Joule. Its both electricity and an upward moving chart graph.....Also, been through all 1300 crypto logos. There are a couple lightning bolts in there as logos, but i can't find one that looks anywhere near as good as the one my designer colleague came up with.

Oh this is pretty neat!!!!  I light the lightening goes with the joule name Smiley.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!

$3,000.00
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which coin will be the 2nd larget by market cap? XRP or ETH on: January 02, 2018, 07:47:26 PM
Ripple is a fake market cap.  Can anyone actually say how many XRP's are in real circulation?  Just because I create 100 billion coins doesn't mean I actually gave anyone any.  I can give out 100 and keep the price inflated to 2 dollars forever and my marketcap would show almost 3 times as much as XRP's.

Just beware.. the XRP folks can throw another few billion into the mix and boom.. price crash.  They are just waiting for enough suckers to get in to cash out.

Ripple built 55 smart contracts using its own escrow feature released for public used in March, each holding 1 billion XRP and expiring on the first day of every month for a period of 54 months.

As each contract expires, the cryptocurrency will briefly become available for Ripple to use as it sees fit.

This, XRP is bullshit.
79  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Corrects Upwards; H&S is a lie; Enjoy Alt-Season while it lasts on: January 02, 2018, 07:46:27 PM
It is incredible to see how almost all the altcoins have made a x2 or x3 during the last few weeks. It will end soon, and bitcoin seriously needs to recover as soon as possible. I want to sell all my bitcoins at $20k, lmao.

That is why it will take several months to gain any traction upwards.  The new comers are scared shitless are selling and will be selling.  Might just see $5k
80  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: TRANSACTION STUCK, how to cancel? on: December 20, 2017, 07:36:00 PM
Hi all,
I made a transaction this morning and put by mistake a fee that is too low, for this reason 8h later no confirmation...
How can I cancel the transaction to make a new one?
https://live.blockcypher.com/btc/tx/d81402c8a26f232075e73cc528e4974cb5cccd7d15d79e40fae9931beccb70c7/

As far as I know, you cannot cancel a transaction. Maybe someone else knows a way? You may be out of luck.

Indeed, a transaction doesn't get cancelled by request.
There are 2 options:
1. Wait until the network forgets / drops your transaction.
2. Double spend: Send a new transaction with the same inputs as the bad one, but send it to yourself and use a much higher fee so you make sure it gets confirmed.

The problem with [1] is that the wallet may re-broadcast the transaction. Some wallets do that, but I don't know which does and which doesn't.
To solve [1] you can make the wallet forget the transactions (-zapwallettxes option if you use Core wallet, you better backup it first).

For [2] you need the same "forgetting" and also either send out (to yourself) all your money, either ask somebody smarter than me to build a transaction for you with the correct inputs.

From what I know [1] may take 2 weeks after some changes in the newest Bitcoin Core and [2] may be very expensive.

Edit: for future reference, this thread is also very informative: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1802212.0

WHERE CAN I DOUBLE SPEND>?!?!?!?!?!?!  Nothing will let me broadcast a double spend tx... it is very Fing annoying.. I have 3 btc locked in limbo land..
