361  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Really no talk of segwit / big blocks.. on: January 10, 2017, 05:33:14 PM
Bandwidth.. good point.
362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can any altcoin overcome BTC? on: January 10, 2017, 05:29:01 PM
Why wouldn't it be possible?  For sure it is.  IMO unlikely so much computing power behind BTC and love for it vs alts.  All of that is changeable though.
363  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Really no talk of segwit / big blocks.. on: January 10, 2017, 05:24:36 PM
Any thread on this.. or is still an instant delete subject... I use to be very anti big block but after  buying a 4tb harddrive for $120... I am changing my tune.. I can't see how the blocksize scaling at half of moores law causes any issues..

I read some stuff on segwit.. seems like a lot of changes in one go.  Alas some to complicated for me to get :S. It has been sounding promising though.
364  Economy / Speculation / Re: I don't want a $2,000 bitcoin by February on: January 05, 2017, 07:05:08 PM
There will be no stopping a massive run up and a crash afterwards.. btc is just too small right now..

There 100% will be another MASSIVE run up and another large crash..

THAT SAID.. $200 is dream land we will never see that price again.  $200 per BTC is history now.
365  Economy / Speculation / Re: I feel really bad for those selling into this rally.... on: January 05, 2017, 04:47:46 PM
Why do people care about the USD value of your Bitcoins? Of course it's going to go up and down.

What matters most is that you have Bitcoins. What good is a small 5-10% even 20% ROI... Heck the fees and taxes eat that up mostly. If you believe in Bitcoin, then buy more on the dips. We want Moon-Level Returns.

I cannot preach this enough..

Why in the fucks of fucks is someone playing such a risky investment for a 15% gain... go play stocks... BTC is not for you lol.

When investing in tech that could bring the world into a new age for fail completely looking for 15% gains.. just.. why are you here lol.
366  Economy / Speculation / China selling.. America and others buying..? on: January 05, 2017, 04:32:51 PM
Is this a transfer of bitcoins from the weak hands of the Chinese to the strong hands of everyone else..?

American exchange are now above the price of the Chinese, hasn't happened in a while. (Above the price as in if you convert on to the other it's selling higher on the American ones)
367  Economy / Speculation / Re: Now That Bitcoin Is Under $1000 Again.. on: January 05, 2017, 04:17:31 PM
We bounce off of 900 and 1150 until one of them breaks.  I wouldn't be to quick to bet on breaking 900.
368  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bear Market Ahead? on: January 05, 2017, 04:15:35 PM
Sometimes I think this forum is full of psychotics. China goes on some massive spending spree on fears of cap controls so BTC jumps from $800 to $1150 in ~2-3 weeks. On these events 49% think BTC is going to $10k and is jubilant, and then it corrects (partially) and the other 49% thinks the world is over. 1% are in both of those camps, and 1% is standing back trading the psychosis of the 99%. It's insanity.

In other news: China doesn't mind transferring their wealth to others via BTC. Horrible traders I must say... lol

This is all markets always?  lol.  Humans are crazy.
369  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bear Market Ahead? on: January 05, 2017, 03:32:47 PM

371  Economy / Speculation / Re: Nights Watch by Afrikoin on: January 05, 2017, 02:36:39 PM
DAMN man good call on that $890 resistance.
372  Economy / Speculation / Re: I feel really bad for those selling into this rally.... on: January 05, 2017, 01:37:12 PM
You have to be more clear... Are you talking about people panic selling due to the correction that we have seen today, or people cashout out profits at current levels. If the latter, then there is nothing wrong with cashing out a small portion of your coins if you have made a more than decent profit. If you talk about the first option, then yes, depending on what levels they bought their coins at, it's not going well for them right now. But that gives traders a very nice opportunity to buy back at lower levels. Where one person is screwing up, another person comes up celebrating the victory.

I have a feeling well see a quick sell to 900 maybe 800 then instantly back to 1100.
373  Economy / Speculation / I feel really bad for those selling into this rally.... on: January 05, 2017, 12:49:44 PM
It's not going to end very well for them.
374  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin still suited to low amount transactions? on: January 04, 2017, 05:41:54 PM
I just bought a 4TB hard drive for $140 cad... it's time for bigger blocks..  I have been against it but we need to do something.. even growing at half of moores law should work perfect..
375  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Extreme Dangers of Cashless Society on: January 04, 2017, 05:25:15 PM
For me its too exaggerated for thing thing too happen but the possibilties is always there and we would came to a point on which cash would be really banned or step-up into a new form (e-currency). 2030 is too far away from this year and there are so many innovations would really happen along the way and regarding on bitcoin about that year i think it will still exist and used by people but if the thing mentioned above will happen then transaction on bitcoin would be limited i suppose.

This isn't that far out... see history.  Humans are serious POS when they are in power.  Look at America.. buddy comes out telling people he was forced to kill children.. They put him in prison for life, solidary confiment, force feed him, torture him.. The "leader of the free world" are POS.. and they are the kindest there is.....

377  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: WHERE TO BUY MINER on: January 04, 2017, 04:13:12 PM

WAHT?!?!?! IS IT NOW... hum...
378  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: As a miner, why do you mine rather than buy and hold? on: January 03, 2017, 09:25:22 PM
I constantly get told that it makes more sense to buy and hold than mine yourself - wondering what is your experience as miners.

I mined/mine.. it would of been better to buy and hold on the first batch I bought the second I would of done well.

One needs cheap power and a tech know how.

I keep mining because I am using low power draw ASICs and I like to say I am mining hehe.
379  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Raspberry Pi 3 Mining on: January 03, 2017, 09:24:02 PM
This is just for a hobby right?

I have had a hell of a time attempting to get my ACIS's running on my Raspi.. still haven't got it working.. I am not very good at Linux though.
