241  Bitcoin / Mining support / HELP - Dragon Miner not showing ANY speed when i connect to ip address ?? on: June 30, 2014, 08:33:40 PM
Hi All

I am aware that these need the third number to be 1 eg 192.168.1.101 ......

I have a Virgin superhub router which is linked which default address is 192.168.0.1.

I have the EXACT miners address - 192.168.1.181 BUT it will NOT connect to it....

So i then changed the Virgin superhub address to 192.168.1.101

I could then connect to the miner and add the pool details as usual and the blades stopped flashing and it' s displayed running BUT i still get NO SPEED displayed Huh

Plus it does not show on the pool???

I have just taken the miner WITHOUT altering anything to a makes house with the old type Virgin Router, which is connected to a Liksys router with local ip addy of 192.168.1.1.

Withing 1 minute its at 1Th.

Anyone helpas i need this running on Virgin superhub, with a ethernet port connected to it...

Thanks

10% more than my total mining capacity in a single box that consumes around 1/5th the electricity.  Why oh why didn't I take the Blue pill?!

What are you running at the moment then ?

What voltage do the blades work off 12v, 5v ??

Anyone know, it's just a standard pci coneection.

Or both, if i need one blade on one of my miners is not hashing, i plugged i a pci connection from a broken miner and its now working.

What the cheapest rating PDU i can get just to power on blade ?

It will be pulling around 1.1a max.

Cheers

Li,

Please see PM.  I have issues with 2 of the 4 units received today.  Thanks.

Your not the only one !!!!

I received 2miners 1T/h dragons and neither work, bear in mind i have seven others off Lee that I MANAGED to get working!!!

He asked for the problems soi gave him full details so his 'engineers '!! can resolve it Why can i not talk to the engineer myself.....

I have skyped him the symptoms/problems and the exact reply was(fromSkype) -

can do nothing in such a long distance
[15:07:31] skypepcfli_Lee: you need find the problem
[15:07:36] skypepcfli_Lee: then i can help you out

The problem is THEY ARE FAULTY GOODS!!!

I am really not pleased AT ALL !!!!!

 Angry

This is my reply to miner 1 of 2 of problems -

Miner 1.
Bottom blades EXTREMELY HOT. CAN NOT TOUCH THEM.
Top to blades cold.
PSU made a clicking noise when I first turned on. And burning smell.
Both fans on.
All green led on blades.
Hash rate totally unstable. Around 160gh

I had to disconnect in case of fire !!!!

After payment finished, when can you deliver out the miner? I heard from others you delivered out the miner in 1 hour, is it true?

I promise delivery in 0-24hours during working days, during weekend,UPS/DHL won't pick up packages on Sunday. So please finish the payment on Friday, then i will try my best to deliver the miner out on end of Friday or Saturday.

Last time,I was preparing the UPS picking up,it is coincided one miner paid, then i delivered it along with that batch:-)

What 'back-up' service do you give with these Miners,as i have had 10% failure on orders, mostly on the older model with lcd and different mainboard.

From broken fans, disconnected blades, faulty PSU's, blades come loose fromcase as wrong type  screws used, plus used dusty items.

Are you on Skype for a chat, i understand you are 8 hours ahead( it is 7pm now with me)

Can you PM your Skype address.

Thanks

HELP GUYS,

just added another two 1Th Dragon miners to my current 7, changed the ip so there is NO CONFLICT.So they go from -

192.168.1.99 to 192.168.1.91.

192.168.1.92 and 192.168.1.91 re the two  i have just added.

I can connect to then via ip address, They BOTH show running and have the correct GHash pool details BUT the etherenet light on the miner is constant orange, not flickering??

It is flickering at my ethernet switch....

All blades are green.

I am also NOT getting any info regarding the speed of the miner at the bottom of the miner page ip adress,eg -

Mining machine running log:
(5s): 1.015T (avg): 1.013Th / s | A: 205935616 R: 212736 HW: 3211 WU: 55.1 / m   ******THIS IS BLANK *******

*****PLUS THERE IS NO STATUS RED LED *****

HELP PLEASE !!!

So all you guys with the 90Mh sscypt miners, where do you mine ??

Do you mine single LTC ? Or use a profit switching pool that pys out in LTC ?

Are they more profitable than a 1Th Asic mining BTC ONLY??

Thanks
255  Economy / Services / Re: [Lee group]6779$ for 90M scrypt miner and 1800$ for dragon 1T bitcoin miner on: May 31, 2014, 09:19:37 AM
update

I tried the control board from another dragon and still nogo.

I plugged the lcd screen from the old dragon onto the control board(new dragon doesnt't have a screen) and the new dragon powered up but still wouldnt mine.
The pool addresses are the same in both dragons

this is so frustrating the last dragon took about 15 minutes to get going.

Any ideas Huh

Use an IP scanner to scan the IP of the dragon.
Log into the web based interface and press ok to start automatically.
If you change the IP, the Dragon needs about 2 minute to start for the first time at the new IP.
If this didn't solve your problems, then look at the inside of the Dragon.
If you see 1 PCI-E cable or power cable that splits into 2 PCI-E connector.
Than you got a model with less powerfull PSU.
When these PSU are new, they can mine for a while, after a few weeks of mining these PSU died a bit and won't power up the Dragon enough.
Replace with a better PSU and make sure each module of the Dragon is separately powered by 1 PCI-E cable.
Do not use a cable that splits into 2 connectors.
Make sure the motherboard cable is plugged into the control board.

I hope this help.

He has no power the PI unit so there is no ethernet....
256  Economy / Services / Re: [Lee group]6779$ for 90M scrypt miner and 1800$ for dragon 1T bitcoin miner on: May 31, 2014, 09:18:31 AM
ok I have created a new sd card which works but only when the lcd screen from the old dragon is installed.

Anyone know how to simulate a screen being there ?

I had EXACT same problem, even had new mainbord sent out as i thought no way would it be the faulty lcd (just display).

The Pi unit was not getting power via the ribbon from main boad, but would work it i powered it via micro usb psu ??

Somehow the lcd's are needed or tied to the main board/or Pi (i also reflashed stock image but that still does not alter ye ip adress etc ??)

I was not prepared to remove a working  lcd from a working miner, not worth the risk.

Out of my 6 miners only 2  lcd's EVER displayed anything !!!!, the others are blank white, the latest miners ave noo lcd at all.

I would LOVE to know what pins to short on the ribbon plug to get them running, as i am afraid my lcd's which just display white background wil eventually die and i will have no miner.

Think Lee need to speak to technicians at the factoru as i DO not think they are just plug/play !!!

To be fair Lee was BRILLIANT, he sent out 2 new main boards and a fan free of charge !!!!!!!!!

For some reason he would not send LCD as he stated they break in transit Huh?

I would love to have working lcd'd on all my miners but he would not ship  Huh

Surely you can just plug any lcd into ant pi unit Huh

If so i will contact Lee and get hime send me new ones on my next purchase as i presume they VERY low cost in China

All the best

Hi Guys

Only been with Ghash.io that then rquires a CEX.IO acoount for settings etc ? Is this correct ??

Anyway i first set up auto payment to onne wallet at 100% at 0.2 BTC.

I have over 0.228 BTC in the account and it has not been sent to my wallet,i just deleted it and added a new ADD PAYEE but there is no option toset an amount ??

Totally confused.

It states -

Auto-payouts are triggered once a day, at arbitrary time.

Payout threshold:  0.01

Anyone advise ?
