202  Other / Beginners & Help / HELP - How do i back-up my Multibit wallet ??? on: August 15, 2014, 12:28:28 PM
Hi All

I have around 10 BTC in one encrypted wallet and want to back it up and open another encrypted wallet and send my coins to the new one.

Is it just a case using the 'Export private Keys' Huh

I can not see ANYwhere an option to 'back up your wallet' ??

I plan to back it up to the PC i am using plus couple of memory sticks each timei hit 10 BTC.

ALso when i create a new wallet will it create a new BTC address ??

Cheers

Thanks

Remember, don't trust any PM with fake account zyhsu8I5,somebody was scammed;I won't change my receiving wallet.
Exchange rate checked www.btc-e.com
Before you pay, please check your router gateway surely 192.168.1.1;if you could not be able to change it if it is not;please don't buy delivery miner.

RIGHT GUYS, mu router Gateway is 192.168.0.1.

1. I have been inform that ALL i have to do is alter the miner  address to 192.168.0.xxx(on next doors router take 2 mins) - Is this correct???

2. I always seem to have to alter the Gateway ip for ALL miners to 192.168.1.1 do i do the SAME for all the miners on the 192.168.0.1 routers ??

If the miner's IP is 192.168.1.x,the router gateway IP must be 192.168.1.1;If there are many miners connecting with the router gateway 192.168.0.1,you have to change miner IP into 192.168.0.x:

step 1,connecting the miner with your laptop by one internet cable directly,change your laptop TCP/IPv4 gateway into 192.168.1.1,set your laptop IP into 192.168.1.2;

step 2,then open the miner controller in your laptop IE,to set miner's IP into 192.168.0.x;wait for 1-2minutes,then connecting the miner with your gateway router 192.168.0.1,then the miner controller can be open.

Cheerss Zeus, i'm cluless with ip/gateway tcp/ipv4 !!!!!!!

I just plan on connecting to MY network, altering  the details to -

IP 192.168.0.99 ADD:   Subnet Mask:255.255.255.0    Gateway IP:192.168.0.1   DNS: 8.8.8.8

Then select - SET NETWORK

Then taking next door to my mates ....I think thats easier for me !!!     lol

210  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: ADVICE - Anyone running a Dragon Miner on a 192.168.0.xxx setting ??? on: July 17, 2014, 10:13:33 AM
Have you tried gateway IP, and Miner IP both with the .0. ?   I personally have not tried with .0. but those are the settings that would have to be changed to get it to work.  And you can check subnet mask with ipconfig on windows just to make sure it's proper number.

Mate i played for HOURS !!!

I ha the miner recognised and could connect to it, BUT when i entered pool details it would not mine ??

I would just LOVE to know if i could just take it next door where it mines away happily on 192.168.1.xxx and change the ip to 192.168.0.xxx.

That would be simpler.....

Cheers

Can you watch this thread s i will need to get one up/running withing next few days on 192.168.0.1 router..

211  Bitcoin / Mining support / ADVICE - Anyone running a Dragon Miner on a 192.168.0.xxx setting ??? on: July 15, 2014, 10:06:14 AM
Hi All

In the instructions for these miners its  states that they need to be on a 192.168.1.XXX which is mine on my router BUT my friend Virgin Superhub is 192.168.0.1.

I played with the router settings for HOURS and could get it to see the Miner on 192.168.1.XXX BUT it would not mine/connect to pool.

Could i just not change the IP address of the miner on my router to 192.168.0.XXX and then take it to my friends house ?

Would this be OK ??

Thanks
212  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Instruction]Detailed manual for Dragon 1T Miner on: July 15, 2014, 09:58:29 AM
Thanks

Can you also CONFIRM that when i swap the ip address of miner to 192.168.0.XXX that it will work on a Virgin Super hub that is is 192.168.0.1.

Thanks
