Idea:
masternode-pool
you mine, when the pool hits 1000 DRK it creates a masternode.
you can only cash out when the pool has more than 1000 DRKs. You get % for all the DRKs you didnt cash out.
...if the pool reaches 2K a nother Masternode is setup, etc.
so you dont need 1k, to run a masternode, you only need a miner, and some time.
someone of the well known pool operators willing/able? I would point my small miner to that direction... ;-)
That's a cool idea only problem is once the 1000 DRK have created the Masternode, what if someone wants to cash out? You need the 1000 for the MN but if they contributed to say 10 DRK of the 1000, they can't get them? Just thinking out loud... yeb, you can only cash out, if the pool is liquid. And if you know that, it is your own risk. (and the pooloperator could create a cashout-que, so you mark your account to be cashed out when the pool gets DRKs... (masternode-payments, other people mining) yes it is a risk, for the operator, and for every single one. but if 1000 people risk 1drk, the (probable) fall is not that hard... ... more shoulders, more strength

I still cannot understand how those big sellwalls gets raped so quickly, like the 27 wall. I would expect that the seller would pull back his order, but no.....it gets instantly eaten if you place a wall at a certain prise and someone is buying it it is consent.do not trivialize rape.btw, 27 is not a "big wall" we have seen 120, 200, and 400btc-walls during the last days.

Announcing a beta feature for the Darkcoin Blockchain Explorer: Address WatchWhen you go to the page of an address, you now have a new "Watch this address" link, where you can then register an email address. The next time coins are spent from that address, the explorer will send you a notification email. The idea is to facilitate keeping an eye on public fund as well as your own addresses, which shouldn't be spent without your knowing of it, get a warning when a multi-pool is moving funds and preparing to dump, etc. yes, lets create a anonymous currency where nobody knows what money belongs to you, AND than lets announce to our providers and email-providers what addresses we are watching. sounds like a really well thought idea bro if you use DARKSEND this thing cannot work!?!? or im wrong "bro", you can use darksend and mixing services as long as you want to, if you typ-in the adresses where your money is in the end, all the obfuscation is gone. if you watch your addresses, you make it public that these are your addresses. - darksend or not.

yes, was him, see announcement on his twitter-account. thx for the link

yes, lets create a anonymous currency where nobody knows what money belongs to you, AND than lets announce to our providers and email-providers what addresses we are watching. sounds like a really well thought idea A lot of the addresses you'll want to watch are public or easily attributable (pools, funds, exchanges...), and all these entities hold far more information than an email address. The addresses I personally watch aren't mine FWIW Also an email address isn't an account, feel free to use redirection, and anybody can watch anybody's address. I m just making fun. Yes this is a nice idea. - watch the big players, etc... but i think that a lot of people will give away their privacy. ..you dont need to own the email-account, the fact that you connected to it is hint enough that you are likely to be associated with this address. snowden showed that metadata matter, and looking up certain addresses regularly will create metadata.

Yeah right now I am running on 2x R7 265s and HD 5850 and would like to figure out if I can mine on my 780Ti
coinmine.pl has a drk-low-hashrate stratum (drk.coinmine.pl: 16090), in the case your favorite pool bans you because of low hashrate. What is considered a low hashrate? the one the pool-operator decided to not be bothered with ;-) i dont know if there is a census opinion, someone=? btw, https://darkcointalk.org/forums/mining.3/ edit: just test your setup with your favorite pool. i posted the coinmine-stratum just in case.

Hi, all. New guy here to DRK.
I am curious as to what settings I should use with my i7 CPU miner?
Thank you much, Griff
for the CPU i use minerd (on the darkcoinwebsite) without any additional arguments. there is some room for improvement, but i need to be able to work on the computer at the same time. How many threads does default use? Doe sit use all of them? I dont know if it allways uses all of them. But i tested it on a i7 and a i5, and it used all of them. if you are able and want to go serious you should think about using your GPU, if not (like in my case [not able - I need a special GPU-setup to keep my realtime-rendering thingy going]) CPU is still pretty, and easy to set up.

well, it is anonymous coin right, so distribution is not possible to proof/analyse.
yes, not in broad. but personally you know if people sold you coins for low figures or not. and if you where able to get them, you can guess that others did as well. no proof, just a hint. Also could sold it to their friends or themselves ;-) you didnt read (or i was not able to be clear) if I was able to gain coins, i know there where sold, b ecause i bought them. that doesnt give proof to you. (i could be a liar) but to me. so i dont know about the very low prices, but everything up from 0.0012 was real.

FYI dev is known. On another note. That is some sell wall lol
The buy pressure that has driven the price higher over the past 10 hours has been largely hidden from the books and therefore the order depth buy graph, and always there is lots of hidden buy pressure. Expect to see huge buybacks within hours of the largely short selling sell wall clearing. sorry i don't get it what are you meaning with that. Like to kearn a little He means that people are just buying directly from the sell orders that are available without placing a buy order and waiting for it to get filled. So you cant really determine the buy depth from the graph. ok understood... very interesting... where can i buy otc... or direktly... and how would this be handeled securitywise.. without an escrow and everything? no. you buy at mintpal (etc.) but instead of placing a buy order you accept a sell order. in this case your buy doesn't show up before it is done. it just erases a sell order and goes directly to the history section. //edit: someone was quicker.

And Forex Minutehttp://www.forexminute.com/bitcoin/why-darkcoin-value-is-surging-constantly-32634"With its impeccable performance in the cryptocurrency market, we are sure that Darkcoin is not another pump-and-dump scheme created to fool users. Instead, this coin is really true in terms of its features. We are sure that in near future, it will gain more acceptance in mainstream markets. Although, it can be misused as well by the black markets – a thing which ‘unethically’ will help it to rise further." //sorry for posting so much... // btw the sky-"article" ... "drugs and weapons" and POS ... mh. looks like they need a journalist.
