281  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin become an asset on: June 23, 2018, 05:17:50 AM
Currency, asset, commodity, what else.. It's just a way to call the way we get taxed.
282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: EOS at $36 by the end of July on: June 23, 2018, 01:07:02 AM
Agree. Still this whole madness makes like 70% correction on the price of btc. Let's break previous low and call it a bearish cycle.  Wink
283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: EOS at $36 by the end of July on: June 23, 2018, 12:40:43 AM
Looking at smart contract platform as NEO and ETH, an healthy EOS worth minimum 150$.

Price chart realism, 44$ is a achievable target.
284  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price jumps after USDT transparency update! on: June 23, 2018, 12:35:33 AM
Hurray!

Bitfinex will be free to manipulate the price feed again!!! Half-joke.

BTC to the moon Alice!

...

I lost 1/3 of my account with the Bitfinex Hack.
I must own a bit of USDT without knowing it!

Warm feeling...
285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: CENTRA CTR SCAM - Founders Arrested on: June 23, 2018, 12:24:06 AM
I invested a bit in Arisebank.

They looked credible.
Sometime it's not the ones who are flashing that have most integrity.

Anyway, those are suppose to be start-up.
Its often hard to believe a start-up can get that much $ just for publicity...
286  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the useful tips for beginners? on: June 21, 2018, 08:35:26 PM
Money management is the key!!!!!!!!!!

This is the secret.

You can loose 8 time on 10 and still make money.

Its no magic - its MM!

Technical analysis is good, but you need so much more.
Money management and psychology are keys.

What's psychology ?
If you loose 8 times in a row and change your plan....

Psychology is the ability to stick to your plan.
Because who need a plan that it doesn't follow?! Wink
287  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: WHAT ARE THE BEST SITES OR APPS TO START TRADING? on: June 21, 2018, 08:31:53 PM
I use bitfinex.

Best platform at my opinion.

Not too much leverage, nice execution.

But the entry price to make an account is high... 10k.

Binance is good for entry, but no leverage.
Maybe its better this way.. LOL Wink
288  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: [SURVEY] Why do people invest in ICOs? What are decision criteria? on: June 21, 2018, 08:27:09 PM
Let me give you one other example of what we intend to do (if we get enough responses for the analyses to be meaningful):
Lets assume everyone only does it for the money, we could still differentiate investors according to their decision making. Some inform themselves about projects and invest for money. Others inform themselves about bonusses and potential revenues (not about the ICO's technology) and invest for money. Others don't inform themselves at all and only follow hype.
Tha would also be a pretty interesting finding.

We also have an item in there of whether people invest in ICOs when the price of BTC/Ether is high OR low. This is actually an interesting question as either answer would suggest that ICOs should occur depending on the price of BTC/ETH.

Agree with that!

People like to re-invest "free-money" they won on the market.
Kind of diversification.

You need to have a solid project so that an investor will liquidate BTC/ETH to get altcoin!

I personnaly look at the project idea " would I use the product", the Hype and the team qualification.

If you buy let's say 50$ of 10 ICO for 500$, one of them will give yo more back then all 10. Popcorn.
Make your snowball with the pop-corn theory!!
289  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is technical analysis useful? on: June 21, 2018, 08:18:33 PM
TA is THE tool. But pattern are good maximum 80% of the time.
That's why money management is the key.

You can win 2 times and looses 8 and still be winning.
Its math and money manage.

TA give you setup with a % of chance its realize itself.
But the 20% that remain need to be managed like it's the 100%.

You need to calcul everything and make an average.
Win/Loss/Wining % setup.

Then you can make a plan.
DEMO first to get the info.
290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Prices always going down, is investor confidence finally breaking? on: June 14, 2018, 11:33:41 PM
This is exaclty the point.

Since the XTB future been listed on CBOE, Wall street aka JPMorgan/Goldmen Sach and friends have pump it from 10k to 20k only to crash it after.
When investor confidence will be fully broken, you'll see the price come back.

Since all weaks hands will have sold to them, their will be no more sellers.
All they need to wait is that the cookie jar is full.

Pure manipulation as always!

291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you feel really, REALLY bad about your portfolio? on: June 14, 2018, 10:43:32 AM
Your portfolio should be formed after the research of what you want to buy and in what position the coin is now... If you bought in December-January 2017-2018 now your portfolio is not in the best shape. In the portfolio, it is better to have several well-known coins with growth potential and several coins very promising and young.

Agree with that. I call them the blues chips of crypto - the 10 that got the most trading volume.
80% of the stack and more.

Then 10 to 20% max into some "emerging" coins.

This is exactly the same as stocks.
Long term view, money management and diversification are the keys.
292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you feel really, REALLY bad about your portfolio? on: June 13, 2018, 04:52:01 PM
That feeling is your internal buy signal!

I feel really bad, I lost almost $2,000 over night. I should've sold some of my tokens last night before sleeping, however, I thought that I will just do it in the morning. When I woke up, I lost a lot of money already. I could not even afford to buy more during the dip since I was late on selling my alts to bitcoin.

Last night did hurt on my side also.
5.5k look like an easy target now.
293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you feel really, REALLY bad about your portfolio? on: June 13, 2018, 04:43:20 PM

The graph is so idealistic. Who would not want it to happen?
I don't know this "elliot wave" thing so I can't fully trust this. If it's gonna happen, we are talking for years, many years.

I fully agree with you, those cycle can take eternity.

Trading FX for long time I can tell you the pattern work.
But again a pattern is only  a probability, the best is like 80% of the time.

There's is no blind shot - never.
294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you feel really, REALLY bad about your portfolio? on: June 13, 2018, 08:10:58 AM
And now about me I really study a lot since I started here and got to know more thing later on, about cryptocurrency and bitcoin investment and the way of being an investor about the techniques on holding and selling it, in short a traders life. Still I want to expand it I want to more and learn more, also to experience more like mining even mining only works on a good time that depends on the market value. So really no, I do not feel bad about my portfolio because just like user quierx16 learn to be Patient and hold if everything falls in the market

I know this sounds a bit "scholar" but looking at price action on a Elliot wave perspective (study), BTC is "only" in its 2nd wave (correction), next target would be 1.618 from last high.

So some like 35k.

Usual correction on wave 2 is 61.8% we done 70%...
Then maybe another dip under to get the stop one last time.
Holding long term is THE solution.

Fiat are dead anyway and stocks... got pumped like never since 2008.
Next game in town is the crypto!

295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you feel really, REALLY bad about your portfolio? on: June 13, 2018, 05:53:14 AM
I just hope this bear market wont last long so other investors can cheer up again and continue to invest in this high volatile market.

Feeling the same.

I understand wall street want to own this market but how low will they send it to crash all hope before they lift it?!
6k was low, like 70% correction of all btc historic price; not only the last move as "usual".

Next target would be like 78 or even 88%.
Gemme a P,... A....

Let's not call on drama.
5 to 5.5k - cracking previous low could do it.
All those stop loss...

Let's see!

296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you feel really, REALLY bad about your portfolio? on: June 13, 2018, 05:09:42 AM
Anything that has to do with money usually evoke strong emotion. The great investors and business men try to de-associate their emotion from their investment decisions!
This is hard to control being emotional when investing in cryptocurrency. Being patient is must involved in investing in crypto although our portfolio is really bad these days. Good also to buy in these red zone and hold till such time market is good.

The 10% rule help on that - save 10% of your income to invest, then don't invest more then 10% of that 10% in something very volatile like mining stock, pink sheet stock or crypto.

Stating the rule is easier then following it.
Not investing money you can't loose is the major idea.
297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you feel really, REALLY bad about your portfolio? on: June 13, 2018, 04:54:32 AM
I have been watching the market closely all of 2018 and I haven't seen a confirmed breakout from the bear market as yet, There have been several attempts to breach $9,300 by Bitcoin and none have lasted for more than a few days at most. I take a long-term view when we face conditions like these and add to positions that I think will stand a good chance of recovery.

Agree with you 9500$ is 23% correction from last 6k low.
Over that would be bullish.

Weekly close haven't' do it, would need minimum monthly close over it.

But it looks 5.5k will be tested....
298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you feel really, REALLY bad about your portfolio? on: June 13, 2018, 04:48:28 AM
If you believe in the crypto market, then any lower price is an opportunity.
The question is more about money manage then if you believe.

Looking at Equity market, 2008 was the best time to buy.

If you trade on margin this is another story and need to manage you position.
Just buy and hold and flip when the price is high or you made good gain - keep a % then start again.

I remember price of btc at around 50$ in 2009
This was past.

299  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People are joking about Bitcoin on: May 23, 2018, 06:17:41 AM
yes you are right many new ICOs are using marketing strategies by making bad bitcoin news trying to get bitcoin prices down and making ICOs high. better avoid such ICO. better choose ICO that support bitcoin price as well.

I totaly agree on that because if BTC is going down the whole market follow with it.
BTC is THE leader - the first one that everyone look at to see if they can cross the street after him.

No BTC, no altcoins.

300  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin down, what will happen? on: May 22, 2018, 05:43:53 AM
I think if the bitcoin falls then the altcoin price also goes down and this will cause many crypto users to sell their altcoin. And we can also buy it now and the price will go up. That is a business strategy. Invest what you can control. That will make us profit.

Wall street got in with XBT - the BTC future - at the ends of 2017.
Price did spark from 9k to 20k in like 2 or 3 weeks!

It's just back from this launching price ready for another ride.

1 2 3 4 5 - elliot wave pattern - wait 23% correction break around 9500$ then...

35k is my next target, 1.27% extension of last move.

Waiting is always long Wink
