None of my rented miners are able to connect to the pool. Not from Nicehash and not from Betarigs. whats up with that ? I'm losing my money here..
Has anyone solved this problem yet? I'm unable to connect from Nicehash  I'm using stratum+tcp://stratumnice.midaspool.com:3333 and all I get is "Status:Dead" My miner started on midaspool when it launched the first time but it wouldnt switch over to another pool at all, just kept brining up HW errors, if i restarted it, it was fine, but it wouldnt switch |

Something that I see as a problem is that if you want to get into the crypto world.. Then you need to buy Bitcoin to buy other coins.
I think we need an exchange where you can buy almost all coins with normal fiat currency so BTC cant affect the price of other altcoins.
I am close to just throwing the last BTC I have into LTCD, but im not sure yet.
I like the coin and all the ideas and the features.. But something is holding me back..
Its the fear that if BTC goes even more down, then LTCD can also be affected.
We need a exchange that can make Fiat to LTCD so that will be setting the price.. Not BTC that sets the price for us.
In the U.K I use bittylicious, they offer about 10 different coins you can purchase via bank transfer, ping it or paym. Of course to get into crypto it takes ages to transfer from your bank to their bank, then it can take hours to get your coins. Most people use there money to buy things, If I wanted to buy a toaster/laptop, it's currently easier to go a website and pay with card. Of course if you're already in the crypto game and have coins, it's plenty easy, but the initial purchase of coins needs to be streamlined and made easier |

Going down like a cheap whore. The "devs" here: 1.) Won't clearly explain the LiteCoin trademark issue. Their explanation amounts to "Well, they're not using it anymore, guess it is ours now so bugger off". Even if a trademark is expired and the Twitter girl is a Fudette there's a cheap and easy procedure to take it over free and clear. They won't do that. Finders keepers is their way of doing things it seems. 2.) They've managed to piss off a bunch of rich Romanian gypsy geeks by insulting the aforesaid Fudette. That lot has threatened to mass dump the coin in revenge and couldn't care about their losses if they do. A simple apology and maybe a bit of compensation might work according to one fellow. They won't do that. The said they'd dump 400,000 coins and then did so it doesn't seem this is something that ought be pushed under the rug. 3.) They've managed to piss off any other non-gypsy Euros on here by threatening to ban some Germans who were having a perfectly innocent conversation. Someone might have run their posts through Google translate before going nuclear. Idoits. 4.) Never come clean about their connection to IconicExpert, coin dumper supreme. I'll bet his lot will push the button any second now lest the Romanians beat them to the punch. Again. 5.) Come after me for pointing out a few things and asking questions. Surprised I'm not banned yet. Soon likely. They also moderate the forum but aren't saying. Where's that awful picture of a toilet the Romanians posted. I already deleted the blockchain and blocks one time.
has it been stuck for 5 mins, 10 mins, 6 hours? Stuck on the same block for like 20 min now.. Block 16479. I've had wallets stuck for hours before and they suddenly boom, they catch up! Yea.. And that just happend. Boom, and there they were.  if it get's stuck for a few hours, restart the wallet, if it goes on any further than than then it's time to play with things and see what's up. |

I would guess with this speed we talk about 3 days...

Oi you lot, don't keep the cat in the bag! At least let it see daylight, go on, give us a look  The whitepaper for this particular system is far from finished. It's not ready for public viewing, and right now stands only as a technical document. Don't expect to see a big announcement on when it will be released or implemented, as we have already started integrating it by implementing difficultyshield outside of core. The best advice I can offer until this whitepaper is ready is to read the sources. Keep reading them on every commit. Watch how it changes. I'm not going to hype something in a lame attempt to push prices up. I offer code. If you want to know what it is or how it works, it's there for you to read, and will only continue to grow and evolve. TL;DR - I'm not going to simply tell it and hype it. I'm going to just show it. One commit at a time. I get the feeling you've been around the block a few times I look forward to seeing the updates |

Well, I dont think that you know what you are talking about.. There is a lot of FUDDERS who wants to get cheap coins, and then dump then a little later. I like this coin and I invested like 0.05 BTC in the beginning and another 0.12 BTC for mining power to help the coin to get over the problem we had. good skills man, everything helps I just got a few extra coins too, thanks very much folks |
