Multipool Giveaway Update
So as it's over and we unfortunately didn't reach the first target!
As uki suggested, how about we extend the giveaway by another week?
Also I noticed at GAW Miners, prices have halved, and no Vaultbreaker is listed (guess the first pre-order batch sold out). So based on the lower prices, would update and with lower targets:
KryptKoin hits 2000 sat - 1 Falcon (27+ Mh/s) to one lucky miner
KryptKoin hits 4000 sat - 1 War Machine (54+ Mh/s) to one lucky miner
KryptKoin hits 8000 sat - 2 War Machines (54+ Mh/s) to one lucky miner
KryptKoin hits 12000 sat - 1 Vaultbreaker Mini (250+ Mh/s) to one lucky miner
In the event one of the machines were not available or the winner preferred can receive the equivalent in btc.
If everyone would like to extend another week, it will continue until the 22nd. I will need to confirm with Historical that it's not a problem on the pool side. Add then I'll do a update to confirm.
Happy for an extension, providing it's easy enough for Historical to sort his end. |

Just voted  Come on folks it only takes 2 mins and you can transfer directly from an exchange! Voted... How many coins enter? First 4 or 5? If its 5, we need 6 votes at least. First 4 unfortunately. I am very disappointed in the community on this one! It takes no time at all to vote and its only 2500 dogecoin! That's not a bad idea! shows the community that the koin has long term plans and also shows the koin will be spendable ( important to me ) |

I think we all would like more exchanges. We are just saying it is not as important now that bittrex has grown. What exchanges a coin is listed on does not make a coin good. It might give you a pump and dump but this coin is above that.

I like to suggest that we quit the mintpal vote giveaway, and maybe concentrate to cryptsy, we can now get to mintpal even without voting, we just need to activate the community to tweet and send PM's to mintpal
that is fine with me, looks like Mintpal is struggling, because they realised they are not no.1 exchange any more and don't know what to do now. They decided for now to accept many coins as soon as possible, and they will likely accept us too, provided we sent them request and tweets. We can phase out from the Mintpal giveaway to Cryptsy giveaway from Monday on. Dev, what do you think about it? I don't think that is allowed for cryptsy, maybe we should return funds to developer pot and use them for something else you can always purchase cryptsy points and refund people that way |

Now I am a little bit confused, because we now say we don't need another exchange (Mintpal) but at the same time we apply for Cryptsy  Can someone explain that to me Nevertheless, I agree with the statement that being on Mintpal is not that important any more, Bittrex is currently a bigger exchange in terms of volume. For now KTK needs more community support (promotions), stable development and more participation in multipool. I think the more exchanges the better but mintpal to me is just a bonus! Cryptsy to me is a better exchange |

Mintpal will add tons of new coins in the upcoming week, there will be apsolutly no point in getting there, bittrex is bigger, and if overall volume splits on 2 big exchanges coin will lose
This last issue is debatable, as having more exposure would grab new clients too. However, observing what happened to ZS, I tend to agree with your statement. As for ZS i will state again it is brought down with purpose, someone will get rich there(dirty rich), but in our case going on mintpal will kill it, even on bittrex we have some members that try to lower price at any cost. Fully agree! MintPal in most cases is coin killer. It is happening to most of altcoins on Mintpal . Most coins are only created to be pump and dump coins, people make there money and move on. To actually create something special is becoming harder by the day. If a coin has real world uses or is supported by someone famous/well know then it has a better chance. What we need to ensure is that the fight we have doesn't diminish and we carry on pushing this coin all the way! |

Another exchange is not very important now.
Someone who is getting easy coins through giveaways, faucets, etc. will almost always dump.
I think that pool constantly makes some pressure, and those dumpers will be "eaten" after day, two or three.
We have to make more promotions, also including giveaways, and continue to mining on multipool and constantly push price
All things are going good, we have ongoing development, Tommy is working on online wallet, there is also working on marketplace, android, wp plugin, etc..
Remember, distribution was for a period of month and half, to avoid many dumpers, but some are always present.
This is long-term coin, so we have only to continue to work calm.
That's my opinion.
I agree, some more promotions would be great and getting the KTK name out there a bit more is essential. I'll be on cryptsy chat tomorrow for a bit doing a giveaway. |

I don't recall cryptsy ever getting a mention on the voting front, is this something to look at? I like that site Most definitely. Cryptsy is oldest altcoin exchange of the lot and is very reputable. They were one of the first exchanges I started trading on when I first got into crypto and I've never had a problem. Lately though I've been using Mintpal and Bittrex more. I sent them an email to add KTK a while back. They even replied that they'd look into it but nothing more happened. We should start a new topic for KTK in Cryptsy's freshdesk forum and have as many people as possible click on the 'do you like this idea?' link under the topic. If we get enough people to like our KTK thread, they'll consider listing KTK. I like the sound of that, I like Cryptsy and have had nothing but excellent support from them in the past. Nice numbers.. Ratio is not good: B/S ratio: 0.20159 or for 1 bought we have 5 sold KTK coins, and that is happening 3 days after ktkmultipool constantly buying. Someone apparently has hundreds of thousands of coins... I'm asking myself how many KTK coins was left in Sharexcoin before disappearance? Is it possible to catch via http://chainz.cryptoid.info/ktk/ which address is dumping? In 20 hours it is 1,64% of total distribution. If this rich list is anything to go by, the people in the top 5 are gaining a lot more, so it seems anyway |
