181  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Using bitcoinnotify.com - cannot get POST data. on: September 14, 2011, 08:47:46 AM
I hate it when people refer to other posts so I'll help you here.

First create a file output.txt and chmod it 777
Now, create a file test.php and past this code in it;

Code:
<?php

    $output
file_get_contents('php://input');

$fp=fopen($tmp_path."output.txt","a");
    if(
$fp) {
      if(
flock($fp,LOCK_EX)) {

fwrite($fp,$output."\n");

flock($fp,LOCK_UN);
      }

fclose($fp);
    }

?>

Go to http://www.bitcoinpayflow.com/test_pn and enter http://www.yourdomain.com/test.php then click on Test.

If all went well, you should see on the screen what was send to test.php

Wait some time - the server is a bit slow.

Check your output.txt file for the result.

182  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: .80 to whoever can help me figure this out. (Deposits w/ PHP) on: September 14, 2011, 08:43:34 AM
Hi,

First create a file output.txt and chmod it 777

Then create a file test.php or whatever you want to name it and past this code in it;

Code:
<?php

    $output
file_get_contents('php://input');

$fp=fopen($tmp_path."output.txt","a");
    if(
$fp) {
      if(
flock($fp,LOCK_EX)) {

fwrite($fp,$output."\n");

flock($fp,LOCK_UN);
      }

fclose($fp);
    }

?>

Send notifications to this file and the result should be recorded in output.txt

Just adjust the file names and paths to make it secure to receive your notifications - also have a look at http://www.bitcoinpayflow.com/ as alternative or back up notification or complimentary notification to enhance your security.

Hi,

Do any of you perhaps know why I would get a Internal Server Error when I create a new account or when I log out?

Thank you,

I... didn't know there was a cron to run. That's probably why.  Tongue

Great question - I also did not know this and was waiting for the change for a week now. Roll Eyes

Q: Should we uncomment this line (as it is now) in the cron file to use the database specified confirmation;

Quote
//Checking for new deposits
  $accounts = $b->listaccounts((int)$config['confirmations']['value']);
  //$accounts = $b->listaccounts(1); //Test only

and do we need to set our Default account for sending to PC_MAIN or could we use any other address available.

Q: Any news on the admin section?

Thank you,

Hamburger

You are clearly just plain stupid and as thick as a plank!

Only you will buy a service or product that does not exist - I just do not know how you will do it, you should write a book on that and you'll rake in the millions.

I am not a professional and that I made it clear by stating why I do things - this is like free, nada or zip and the people that I have helped will not be made public!

I do not care about a reputation because with or without it I can still do whatever I like, I still going to earn the same as always. What I do care about is the people that were or still is in the same venture as me and they clearly have no idea what is going and that is what I have decide to reveal.

Again, you do not know the content of my correspondence with Michael and that is how it will stay.

By responding to the post, you agree that you are an idiot.

Neither.

There are always non monetary costs to "free".

Even if it is just the lack of professionalism, as shown here.

What is your objective in making public one side of a story in which your offer of "free" services and products was rejected?

It has harmed your reputation - I'm now less likely to consider using your products and services, even with zero monetary cost.

I get offers of "free" business services all the time and ignore almost all of them. I certainly don't expect those offering to then go and tell all my past, present and future customers and investors - which is exactly what you've now done.

Cheap negative advertising then. Congratulations.

Hope you find a buyer for your products and services.

Are you daft or just naturally stupid!

Do you see any advertising here or did you see any of my emails to Michael?

No, then you should not comment nor assu – yes assu because you only make an ass out of u!

I do not need any buyers for my products or services because there are none too provide in the first place and therefore do not need any advertising.

I do have servers that I use for my own personal use and for development of applications where I approach people to do development for them at no cost, jip that is for free, nada or zip! I just like to create these applications because some idiot told me a long time ago that I am incapable of application development.

The prepaid card system was developed on the above principle and for the same reasons. This was offered at no cost, jip again for free, nada or zip and unfortunately that ship has sailed and is not more available.

@Peter Lambert

May it bring you fortunes galore! Wink

Well, I’m out.

I just sold all my shares at a loss since there are no dividends forth coming and the responses to questions is getting fewer and further apart.

I offered Michael free hosting on my servers and web development to my abilities and a fully fletched prepaid card system for the selling of prepaid cards. I have developed and used this system successfully to prove that it can be done and unfortunately until now I had no response from him.

All the best to you who want to stick around but this is where I get off this buss.

Cheers.

There are no exchangers in the USA, they were robbed, chased out or imprisoned ~ 5 yrs ago. (April 27, 2007)

Bitcoin is a Russian and Canadian thing primarily. The only aspect where US Americans are prominent is jabbering nonsense on this forum. You know, seeking authority and begging permission while proclaiming to be anarchist while calling the police and trying to secure copyrights. Trying to collectivise and centralise what was designed to be the antithesis of authority. There is even a thread about electing a new leader to replace Bruce. Nonsense galore.

Bitcoin is for privacy. The real business is conducted without any mention in public. The gay-mers blathering here are just playing the speculation. By what they say I have concluded that most of them don't have a clue. They seem to think that gambling on Mt. Gox prices _is_ the business.

As for authority imposing it's rules on us, just say no. After all, without your assent, they don't have a contract. You have a God given right to trade your own property or make contracts as you see fit. It can't be unlawful if there is no crime. Don't contract with a corrupt regime. State your intention to dismiss them. Make that intention public. If they try to make a case against you, the first thing they have to prove is your agreement. Mike Gogulski, who posts to this forum, is an expert on the subject.

Best advice, don't open shop in the USA. There is a reason that Trade Hill is in Chile, Mt. Gox Japan, Goldnow, Austrailia, AurumXpress and Nanaimo Gold in Canada.

Sadly, land of the free and home of the brave has become a nation of cowardly brainwashed slaves. If you want free and brave, try Russia.

Well Said!

189  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: how are you pulling JSON from exchanges? on: August 30, 2011, 09:48:17 AM
You find the URL for the API - see below, this is for getting the South African Rand price of Bitcoin

http://www.bitcoin.za.org/api

If you call the page directly with your browser you will get something like this;

{"ZAR":"62.78"}

In PHP you can do this;

Code:
<?php

$_rate
file_get_contents("http://www.bitcoin.za.org/api");
$obj json_decode($_rate);
$_rate $obj->{'ZAR'};

echo
"ZAR = $_rate";

?>

This will result in;

ZAR = 62.78

Hope it help you or someone.

@Christian

Great site - you should consider writing an api for your service. Other applications that need to notify their users for what ever reason they need to be notified could make use of it.

Looks incredibly scammy.. Any proof that this even works?

Stop being a dumb ass!

Test the damn service before you start trolling! Angry

and the answer to your stupid question is YES!
192  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: South African Rand / Bitcoin Exchange Rate on: August 24, 2011, 01:53:39 PM

There is no such thing as

Quote
- The price of Bitcoin in any currency must equal that of Bitcoin/USD/currency2.

The price of Bitcoin in any currency is equal to the amount that the buyer are willing to exchange for Bitcoin - and that is valid for any currency - ever heard of foreign exchange market trading or forex trading? How do you think people earn millions buying and selling currencies if the currency must equal the USD.

Please refrain from posting in threads just to get your post count up as you will still end up with a bad reputation even if you have many post behind your name. Most serious forum and Bitcoin users will actually look at the quality of your posts before dealing with you and you are going the wrong way at the moment.

@Longmarch

The script was stitch together in a minute or so just to give the local guys an indication of the going rate of Bitcoin in the local currency - the info is taken from various sources including the day to day trading that we know of in South Africa.

193  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: South African Rand / Bitcoin Exchange Rate on: August 23, 2011, 08:26:56 PM
What's with all of these bitcoin/non-USD exchanges?

Gold itself is traded with USD.  And I think gold's more liquid that bitcoin!

I do not have the time and energy for this but what the heck, since you did not get the proper education or you wasted your parents money on school fees;

South Africa is a country on the southern tip of Africa, yea that is the small piece right at the bottom of your geography globe on the African continent and that's to say if you have one.

South Africa trade in South African Rand - South Africans, just like any other Bitcoin user would like to trade their Bitcoin for their local currency and in this case it is Rand so that they may buy some useful stuff from the guy down the street.

You are most likely here on this forum because you are dissatisfied with your banking system and government but yet here you are living up and trying to force the inflated ego of the so called mighty dollar onto each and every one.
194  Economy / Trading Discussion / South African Rand / Bitcoin Exchange Rate on: August 23, 2011, 06:47:48 PM

Find the current South African Rand / Bitcoin Exchange Rate at

http://www.bitcoin.za.org/

This is a work in progress and you are welcome to let me know what else you would like to see here.

Pretty images and so to follow in the weeks or months to come.

One of the better ideas around

just a pity it is taking so long.

I always take part in games like this because I know the risks.

It is just when someone else see this, they will keep quite instead of speaking up and they form the perception that every one is out to get them - you see this in every new idea that come across the forum as it end up with "it's a scam" and that only because they do not speak up.
198  Economy / Gambling / Re: Lets Ponz! -No Fees- on: August 12, 2011, 06:46:08 PM

Hi,

Neat script, could even run it on my desktop using EasyPHP and the standard Bitcoin client.

Just two questions, how does it handle payments between two account holders and how do you set up an admin or main account - I see there is provision made for it in the database [is_admin]

Thank you,
