61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DGC] Digitalcoin | Multi-algo & Masternodes | Established 2013 on: September 13, 2018, 03:11:02 PM
Hi,

Could anyone tell me how this coin is related to Krugercoin and Worldcoin?

I have started to revive Krugercoin and I found that the clients from this coin connect to the Krugercoin network causing a fork - or at least trying to cause a fork, the second coin doing the same thing is Worldcoin. I have successfully got Krugercoin to follow the longest Krugercoin chain that is available on three exchanges.

Tnx,

H

So site was compromised ?

Just great. I didn't think, that anybody would want to hack site with such low volume coin. Seems people in crypto are now desperate to get anything LOL :O

Yes it was, however, it was not the dice script that was compromised. The VESTA control panel that was used to manage the site was compromised. The intruders then kept sending emails to blackmail me as a distraction while they actually where using the server to send out spam emails. I think they cared less about the DTC that was available on the server.

Everyone else that made withdrawals received their coins; the same with Agent009 that made two withdrawals in two transactions 999.05 and 0.95 to the same address.

I will take down the site when the last player withdraw their 10.6654 DTC

Tnx

DATADICE

Hi,

Could everyone that still have coins on www.datadice.tk please withdraw your coins - it seems like the admin section was compromised but the person are unable to withdraw user coins.

I received a nice extortion email from them with the admin password to confirm the admin section was compromised -  I believe it was done via the VESTA www vestacp com control panel that I used to managed the sever.

My apologies for trusting third party code to manage the site, no user coins are compromised.

Tnx

65  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Cross Compile Windows Binaries For Bitcoin v0.10.2 on: May 23, 2018, 01:53:16 PM
You do not need gitian to build windows wallet. Its much easier and straightaway than gititan. Here are the steps to compile windows bitcoin core wallet on ubuntu with cross compile

1.Clone bitcoin repo
2.cd to depends folder
3.execute make HOST=x86_64-w64-mingw32 -j4
4.then once the depends have been compiled fully, then cd ..
5.then run bash autogen.sh
6.then execute ./configure --prefix=`pwd`/depends/x86_64-w64-mingw32
7.then type make
8.After all compile finishes. You will find qt wallet for windoes under the src/qt folder.

Thats it

Nope, this is not going to work to compile the Windows binaries for bitcoin - at least definitely not for https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/tree/v0.10.2
66  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Cross Compile Windows Binaries For Bitcoin v0.10.2 on: May 22, 2018, 12:58:18 AM
The cross compilation process for Bitcoin Core 0.10.x should be largely the same as for recent versions of Bitcoin Core. Try following those instructions but with the 0.10.2 codebase.

You can also use gitian which is used for building the release binaries. Instructions for that are available here: https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/blob/v0.10.2/doc/gitian-building.md and here https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/blob/v0.10.2/doc/release-process.md

Tnx, installing the VM now and will see how far I get with this route -> new learning curve.

There are no windows binaries there. I have 0.10.2 somewhere I'll get round to posting it if it is absolutely needed - if achows strategy fails.

Tnx but I need to build it myself.

68  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Cross Compile Windows Binaries For Bitcoin v0.10.2 on: May 21, 2018, 08:38:42 PM

Hi,

I need to cross compile Bitcoin v0.10.2 for the windows executable files on Ubuntu 14.04 x64 for a project.

The source code is at - https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/tree/v0.10.2

All the instructions that I found result in the installation of the source on Ubuntu instead of compiling the source for the windows executable files.

I do not have any issues with the cross compiling of the source from Bitcoin v0.13 - v0.16

Any help with this will be much appreciated

Thx

Hello, I'm planning to create an API but I'm a newbie about API's.

Are there anyone willing to give some information?

How can I find documentation about creating an API to communicate a Bitcoin fullnode for

- Creating a new wallet on client side (browser storage)
- Keeping private key on client side (browser storage)
- Able to login via Private Key or Seed
- Send, Receive functions.

Also, I'm not sure if it's possible or not or how complicated it is... Just wondering and looking for some clues...

I am sorry about the Bter/Gate.io wallet - it distorts the debate a little.  But that is an exchange - they all have large wallets.

Hey guys.

Do you have source code for this online wallet somewhere on github/somewhere else?

http://datacoin.tk/wallet/
javascript:void(0);
I want to tweak it, and make a few changes.

I need some advice, the first phase of my project is about to be completed and need to establish a currency symbol to make it easy for users to understand when they speak about Datacoin as a currency; for example when they use $ / £ / ¥ / ₽

D - the obvious choice
Ɗ - to simple look like the plain D and the ' is barely visible
Ð - used by dodgecoin
Ď - .... just not sure
- dot above ...
- line below, I like this one and the original is pronounced as Dal or Dall )

Also need something for pennies / cents - I suggest the use of stics from the synonym for data - stati stics

The price for this item is Ḏ 13.00 (thirteen data coin ) or the service cost Ḏ 25.00 (twenty five data coin)
The price for this item is Ḏ 13.25 (thirteen data coin and twenty five stics ) or the service cost Ḏ 25.50 (twenty five data coin and fifty stics)

Any suggestions is welcome.

Tnx,

H

It needs installed czmq.
$ sudo apt-get install libczmq-dev

May be you need to regenerate protocol.pb.h and protocol.pb.cpp files from protocol.proto.
$ protoc -cpp_out=./src/madpool ./src/madpool/protocol.proto
$ mv ./src/madpool/protocol.pb.cc ./src/madpool/protocol.pb.cpp

Verionum,

I appreciate the quick response - installed 0.15.99.07 on Ubuntu 16.04 x64 without any problems.

Added windows binaries in my previous post.

Verionum, thank you for the awesome job that you have done with the fast tracking of the latest client.

Do you perhaps have a list of additional dependencies required for latest - 0.15.99.07 version.

Tnx,

Sounds interesting.

Though, no matter how many times I tried, I was not able to open the website as such.
Can you please record a video make on how to do this step by step? I think there are many who are not able to follow the steps you wrote there.

Though, it reminds me of DADI, which was like a decentralized fog computing based mineable web hosting network, which with small changes in the blockchain (if the company follows the course) can be introduced.

Just go to any of the links.

Look below the Input Data: text box and click on the Convert to UT8 button.

Only copy the text starting from data: just after the [ bracket and end at the last = before the ] bracket so that your link looks like this -> data:text/html;base64,CjwhRE9DVFlQRSBodG1sI ... AoJPC9ib2R5PgoKCQoJPC9odG1sPg== and post in you browser, chrome or firefox and hit enter.

Installed 0.15.99.03 and 0.15.99.04 with no issues and on 0.15.99.05 this appear, any solution? I saw many references about this error, however, no solutions where mentioned.

Sorry. I don't understand what the matter. Are you sure you have done $ ./autogen.sh and $ ./configure --with-gui=yes LDFLAGS="-L/home/veter/dbbin/lib/" CPPFLAGS="-fPIC -I/home/veter/dbbin/include/" LIBS="-lgmp -lboost_timer -levent_pthreads" ?

Verionum,

I have sorted the problem - I forgot to install autoconf on the server,

All versions - 0.15.99-03 / 0.15.99-04 / 0.15.99-05 and 0.15.99-06 compiled on Ubuntu 16.04 x64
